Mark McDonald and his team at loan depot was amazing. He was recommended to me by my sister and it was a great decision. He kept me in the loop at all time , had great communication skills, and he answered all the questions that I had even if he had to look into it and get back to me. I really appreciate him handling me like family. This was a long drawn out process before going over to loan depot. Thank a lot Mark for everything!

Mark McDonald and his team where great! He stayed on top of our file and kept it moving. We closed on time despite trouble getting an appraisal.

I will give LoanDepot zero or negative star if there is such an option. Do not do business with LoanDepot. We have the worst experience ever. If you don't want to go through what we have suffered, listen to us! We had bad luck working with 3 incompetent employee, Brain Ridenour and Tamika Thomas in the sales, and Deme Robinson in the processor. My wife sued to be an underwriter so she provided all detailed information in response to their questions, and yet they cannot make sense our financial picture. In my view LoanDepot has some major problems in their operations: 1) lack of responsivity: we have called repeatedly to follow our loan and all we got were voice mails which they never responded. They completely ignore customer's inquires. 2) lack of responsibility: when Deme Robinson cannot comprehend our application, she didn’t make an effort to solve the problem and our case stuck; Tamika Thomas as a sale didn't follow through (even though we called!) Apparently their managers (Ken Corley and Anisa Rashad) did not follow up their direct reports either. 3) lack of professional knowledge: Deme Robinson does not even know Band of America owns Merrill Lynch. This, among others, significantly slowed down our loan application (and could be yours if you do business with LoanDepot). 4) lack of operation integration. Information we provided were not shared among different parties which we have to send more than one time. Their managers are either not aware of difficulties/problems their direct reports encountered or simply ignored. Two days before our closing we finally got on hold of Anisa Rashad, through help of Alex and Ricky at Customer Care department. When Anisa finally comprehended our case, it was after 5 pm PDT and the underwriter has gone home. We struggled for more than 40 days and we are still not able to make our closing. I know someone from LoanDepot will respond to my complaint by asking me calling to their customer care team. It is too late, as all customer care can do was to connect us to Anisa Rashad (which they did and we really appreciated it), who in the end was still not able to get our application through.

They are friendly, honest and helpful. I really enjoyed doing business with them!!!

The Team at Loan Depot is very attentive and responsive. Always going above and beyond for my client's. Their expertise is such an asset to my buyer's when it comes to navigating this real estate market.

These guys call me up and say I have requested to know about rates. I explain to them I did not inquire about this and then was essentially belittled as I did not know anything about this. Needless to say should I need a loan in the future I will not call these guys. Also, I will now make sure none of my friends or family use this company...
