So they are supposed to work with other credit unions out of state so you can bank because credit unions are not everywhere. We go in with a tax check and they act like it’s stolen. Then don’t want to deal with it and then say they will only give a $1000 and have to wait on the rest. Very rude and uncooperative. Just get a local bank
UPDATE: I apologize for the delay. It looks like the transaction was made under a different name than your Google profile. We are thrilled to participate in a shared branch. We have signage in our branches stating the Availability of Deposits: "Funds deposited may not be immediately available for withdrawal. Check with your credit union for funds availability information". Our shared branching policy states that the maximum withdrawal for cash is $1000. I apologize for the inconvenience. Launch in SD is the best! Always a pleasure to go there. The teller line is always super friendly and willing to go the extra mile. Shelly and Jessica are great! I enjoy being able to reach out to the manager Dustin. I call him with any issues or services that I may need and he gets it done. I feel like I’m family when I come into the branch.

Find another credit union. This is by far the most unprofessional banking institution I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. At best their staff is incapable of relaying correct information, following up with requests, or maintaining accurate records. At worst they are rude and straight up offensive to their clientele. I have never had customer reps be so consistently rude to me when making simple requests that would be handled swiftly and efficiently by any other financial institution. I have had better experiences dealing with Sallie Mae! I have refinanced my loan with them at a higher interest rate simply to get away from them. Their website is another issue. Whoever designed it apparently has no idea what websites are for and has never heard the term "functionality". There are literally 10 different options for various bill pays. Navigating it is cumbersome and frustrating. They have so much housekeeping to do both online and off. I have since joined another credit union and I otherwise highly recommend using credit unions. The difference between Launch and my current CU is night and day! Find a credit union that is courteous, professional, and that makes you feel like a valued member. Launch fails miserably to take off on all fronts.

Shelia is by far the best asset for Launch. She was very efficient and knowledgeable to my needs. I am a repeat customer to her because of her ability to make getting a loan painless and easy. Highly recommend her to anyone whom is needing banking needs.

The personnel in the loan department review your account from time to time, to see if there are any ways they can help you to better manage your money. Recently a representative called to let me know that I qualified for a Visa Rewards card ,where there are a lot more advantages to using this card, than just the regular Visa card. The card was received by me just a few days later in the mail. On another occasion, I was surprised by a loan officer who had reviewed my information, and let me know that I have been approved to have my car loan refinanced. She had already worked out the details and was calling for my approval. I was delighted to approve it because it saved me about $200 a month on my car payment. It really made my day, and it took a lot of work out of it, that I would have had to do. All of these items, we're taken care of over a secure link on my phone. I was able to sign all the papers, and download a copy for myself. It was quick and easy, and I didn't have to worry about the pandemic or having to leave my house, to travel to the credit union. It was so very convenient, and really a great financial help. It really made my day to know, that people at my credit union were working for me, and thinking of me and how they could help me.Thank you.

Our Member Relationship Specialist, Ms. Sheila Carson went above and beyond when she assisted us (My husband &I) with our vehicle refinancing request. She not only helped us with getting a drastically lower rate than our current one at the time. She also showed us how we could save even more by refinancing both vehicles (2) instead of just one, she was able to drastically reduce the interest rates to less than half of what we were both charged by our current lender. To top that off Ms, Carson also assisted us with a personal loan. We are truly thankful to her and extremely gracious for everything she did for us which has allowed us to save immensely. She is truly an extremely examplary professional & caring representative for Launch. Kudos to Ms. Carson for extending herself to help us to save financially.

I was very excited when my financial advisor, Ms. Sheila Cason was able to assist me with my request to refinance my vehicle reducing the interest rate from the then Lien Holder of 18.23% right down to 4.99% with Launch. Her guidance, coaching & mentoring displayed towards me & my wife really showed me that she had my best interest at heart as she went above & beyond our expectations resulting in us saving tremendously. Also, she was able to do refinance my wife's vehicle where she was also able to save. I’ve been a customer here for a few years. I moved my mortgage to them 6 months ago and it has been a disaster. I’ve found their mortgage department to be unbelievably unprofessional. They have made multiple mistakes, made multiple false promises and the online software they use makes their unethical actions very easy to hide. Time to take legal action. Here’s an update. The original review was 2 years ago. This situation has repeated every year since. Last year, (year 2 of this struggle) they made the same assertion that I had no coverage, I brought in proof that I did 3 times and they still bought secondary coverage. Now the whole cycle is repeating this year. Same situation, I have coverage, they have been sent a copy but are threatening me again. The ironic part is the second mortgage contract states that no insurance enforcement is part of the contract to begin with. Totally incompetent. The insurance department is a third party and totally inept. The response from the credit union is useless. Same issue, 3 years running. Don’t do business with these people.. YUO WILL REGRET IT.
