Landmark Credit Union W National Ave, Milwaukee

Horrible branch. The teller was un pleasant. She didn't want to give me $1000 in $100 bills because she didn't have it in her drawer and didn't feel like getting it until I insisted. What a joke!

Located off of 43rd and National Ave. Always busy is an understatement. Everyrime I come here I have issues with parking. It's also in an oquard position. Not matter which way you exit the premise I have to go down the road and turn around. That said, I've banked here for at least 3 yrs. So it doesn't bother me that much. Customer service is excellent. Tellers are very helpful, curtious, and friendly. Landmark offers various types of checking and savings accounts. Direct deposit is available. Loans, for what ever your need, are accessible. Security is good. Cameras are located throughout the building, inside and out. Security guards are here frequently but not always. The only negative is that there aren't enough locations. I've been a member of Landmark for many years! Their Customer Service is great! I was once a member of a bank whose name I will not mention. I would like to say thanks for the Great Customer Service throughout the years

Update: Service has improves and the lobby is open now 7/2021. they are still a bit short staffed/ If you want to see a personal banker you need an appointment. I am VERY disappointing in Landmark for denying me a long time customer a Auto loan. My credit score faded away from lack of use. But even with a 25% deposit down on a new vehicle, They turned there nose up at giving me a loan. All I was to them was a credit score. So I went to a different finance place and got a high risk loan and got my vehicle. Now I drive to the bank in my new vehicle and make a point to tell the loan officer who denied me. While pointing at my new vehicle. I've been a member for decades. Service was very good until the Pandemic started. As of now other banks have walk-in lobby service but paranoid LCU refuses to have an open lobby at any branch. The drive up is always very busy. I do not own a car. Thus I can not bank here. Are you Listening LCU ??? Open you lobby up NOW. The pandemic is officially over reduced to a recommendation No Masks required. This is why I had to open a BMO account. They have great lobby service. So get out of you car an stop clogging up the drive thru. UPDATE. This location's lobby is now open as of 03/01/21 and service is great. The "new normal" is the old normal again. Get vaccinated an live free again.

I had an issue setting up external transfers to another institution, but no one at the branch location can help with basic banking services such as electronic funds transfers. Landmark has that outsourced to another company that they cannot even contract.

Drive through times are terrible!!! I sit in the drive through for at least 30 minutes each time I try to cash a check. If you can go to another branch do it.

All my money is here and they charged me a overdraft fee instead of using my savings to cover it I’m moving my money asap Update I contact the bank the problem was resolved the teller understood my problem

09/09/2020-Horrible customer service at the West Milwaukee location. We work till 5pm and hurried over there and sat in line for almost 50 min while watching other customers being helped because one person held up our line. Watched some guy that works for Landmark in a red shirt come out and direct people BEHIND us to be helped. Finally when we get to the window we are told they are closed. I tried explaining to them that we have sat in line while a customer ahead of us held up the line for over 30min. We had all the paperwork ready and just needed to deposit the money into the account. Was told well then use the night deposit. Our family has banked with them for over 30 years. We highly recommend people to bank elsewhere, we will be. I could understand if this was still the beginning of the pandemic but it’s been months and you can’t figure out how to help your customers? Again I can understand when things are not in your control but a lack of foresight and thoughtfulness is something I cannot simply overlook. Good luck banking with these people.

Landmark is poor on customer service! During this pandemic, good luck on getting a hold of the member service. Lobby is closed and by appointment only! online service is poor and not convenience! I call for requesting and place on hold for 2 hours. I even asked that they call back and received a call after 5 hours. I am a business customer account holder and is hard to get a hold of them. Is good for resident but is not for business account setting.

If you live in Wisconsin, UW Credit Union is much more fair of a credit union. Landmark has all these weird fees for miscellaneous things, UWCU does not.
