Lake Trust Credit Union S Pennsylvania Ave, Lansing

The south Lansing Branch gets 5 stars for customer service. After making an appt for a notary to do a real estate closing at my other C.U. and being treated VERY rudely....Lake Trust allowed us to walk in unannounced and helped us out with our closing. The notary was very pleasant and even made several trips for copies for us. Unbeatable customer service. Thank you South Lansing Lake Trust C.U.!!

Done. You have played with MY money for the last time. Obviously, your company doesn't care about gig economy workers. Bank to bank transactions need to be processed faster and more frequent. I have with this credit union since the beginning of time, now I'm afraid you have left me choice but to take my business elsewhere.

I hated this CU. My mom had an account there and I was a joint holder. Anything I had to do after she passed required layers of up line approval. They were just awful, even when I tried to deposit a six figure life insurance check into the account it took me an hour and a half. (And that was money going in, not out.) Time and time again, transactions that would be simple at MSU Credit Union were complex or time consuming or impossible at Lake Trust. I got out of there as fast as I could after mom's estate was settled. Then my niece had a very similar experience after her mother passed. I tried to help her but that was a waste of time. Around here I like MSU CU, Dart Bank and Independent Bank. 5th/3rd, PNC and Lake Trust shouldn't be in the business. Old enough to have worked with all of them in business and personally and have 800+ credit score. Customer service at the last three was a 1 or 2 on a 10 point scale. Nuf Sed!

Wanted to open up an account. My driver's license was due for renewal in 2 months. The address in the back sticker was illegible. The told me to bring in a 1099. No problem tax season, I brought one in from social security and the refused it. I had already closed out my accounts with my other bank. They were unsympathetic and uncaring. My roommate was with me exact same address who has been a member for decades and still no help from the credit union. Where is the common decency of people today?

Great customer service with super friendly staff! Very helpful and cheerful and when I accidentally overdrafted my account. They were kind enough to reverse the charges. I love being a member of this Credit Union.

Absolutely the WORST Phone System on Planet Earth. Please hold (forever) and someone will be with you shortly (maybe an hour or so). Blah-blah-blah-blah…. Ditch this POS customer dis-service message system and have REAL HUMANS answer the phone. So high-tech, Lake Trust has become member hostile and totally useless. Waited 35 minutes on hold, listening to how much they appreciate our business, so I gave up.

The concrete barriers in front of this place needs yellow on them because they aren't noticable as the object to stop your vehicle. There is no curb like most banks have to provide a little bump to let you know you are in all the way!!!!! Damaged my front bumper on them and am quite irritated and very unhappy!!!!!

I've been with Lake Trust (State Employees C.U.) for over 40 years. They started going downhill when it changed to NuUnion. However, the last few years, they have really gone down hill fast! Hidden fees everywhere and it always takes 2 to 3 calls to get things straightened out. Very disappointing!

At lake trust they're very polite to you. They will help you if you have a problem with anything at the bank.
