Went in looking to sell an item, after 15min of looking at it and being interupted several times by a goofy looking bald guy (who was very confrontational..insecurity issues) they told me what a ridiculous amount they would pay and I said ok..they just kept trying to explain..if your a lady they will treat you like a queen.. if your a man. They are threatened. Beware.

Highly recommend! Went today to get a piece of jewelry repaired and cleaned. Expected to get it back a week from now and they had it ready for pick up same day. The customer service received is definitely a 10/10. If you are looking for an jeweler /honest pawn shop this is your place. Will definitely use again.

Great store. La Costa has good prices and an impressive selection of items from televisions to home improvement hardware. It's easy to see why there are no poor reviews from anyone who left one. I left the store with a feeling that these were honest guys looking to do good work at reasonable prices--A refreshing change in a 21st century of faceless greedy oligopolies. In the ~20 years I've been in this county I can count on one hand the number of times I've had a transaction as smooth and pleasant. Very cordial and friendly staff. The next time I'm looking for a second hand item, this WILL be the first and hopefully last place I look, and I would recommend the same to anyone reading this.

Would definitely recommend. Went there today 6/3/20 to sell some gold I've been holding on to due to the ongoing pandemic and being out of work. The owner of La Costa Pawn literally gave me double the amount that I had asked for. Stand-up guy. Establishment was very clean and the employees we're clean cut and friendly. This is such a friendly place, it's awesome. I had been looking for a father's day present for weeks and I finally fell in love with a guitar there. The owner gave me a good price for both the guitar and case, knowing I had been searching and comparing prices all around and my dad couldn't be happier with his guitar. Im glad there's still people out there that care about the little things and being able to make others happy.

Gold thief be aware. Would not bring jewelry here for repairs, If you do I would have it tested before you bring it and weighed and possibly even measured. Brought my 14 karat gold necklace that my father gave me 23 years ago for repair when I came back to pick it up he handed me a 10-karat gold necklace that was the same design but I could tell it wasn't my chain, he even went to the trouble of putting my original clasp which is 14 karat gold on his 10-karat gold chain hoping I wouldn't notice. Speaking with this guy he is very experience at what he does i would just be careful or you may just be manipulated out of your belongings..

Started going to this place about 3 months ago for jewelry and have been getting several pieces from there. The staff are truly amazing and honest. You just never see honest people in the pawn business. They have amazing things there and you can trust and believe they are not try to rip you off. It is ran by honest guys. I've been a local guide with Google for a while now, and they have my best review. Truly would recommend any to go here as first option.

These guys are amazing! I went in there the day of my one year wedding anniversary looking for a diamond band for my husband at about 15 min before closing. I was in a crazy hurry, not only did he find a beautiful ring that was perfect, but gave me an excellent deal. He offered to not only size it, but sized it while I waited. He stayed late to make sure I was able to leave with it ready to present to my husband as soon as I got home. He loved it. Thank you for making our 1st year wedding anniversary perfect😉
