Great experience! This was our 2nd Koons experience but our first one at Koons Annapolis Toyota. Finding any vehicle during COVID and the chip shortage was tough... Finding the new Sienna hybrid was near impossible with the massive fuel increase. I called at least 15 dealers and got on their waiting list, but Koons Annapolis came through. I worked with Devon from the start and he was great. Knowledgeable and not aggressive or high pressure. Everyone at the dealership was helpful and pleasant. Overall a pleasant experience.

I was in the market for a 4Runner and found a competitively priced option here. I had purchased my first vehicle here when I was in college and was excited to return as a more seasoned buyer. The salesperson was phenomenal and tended to all my needs. I was in and out the dealership within a couple of hours and was completely blown away by the excellence service. Unfortunately this is where the 1 star comes into play. After looking over some of the documents when I got home I realized some of the services that I added onto the purchase didn’t align with my use of the vehicle. After reviewing the contracts I noticed I was able to cancel the added services within a specific time frame. I contacted the dealership requesting a cancellation within the listed time frame and was told that nothing can be cancelled and the cancellation policy was up to “individual dealership discretion”. During this email exchange another Toyota team member chimed in and corrected them saying this was incorrect and I can indeed cancel the services. The tone then quickly changed in the email thread from helpful to antagonistic. The new team member took 8 days to respond to my email and was extremely condescending. It has been 59 days since I submitted the completed cancellation documents and still have not received the full refund.

Great experience. Erick was very helpful in addition to the rest of management and finance team in assisting us secure a great vehicle we have been looking into for some time now. We understood the nature of the market these days and we were amazed to have the opportunity to drive off in a great vehicle at a great price in the same day! Definitely recommend this dealership!

Can’t say enough about my sales rep Brian Williams. By far the most laid back and easy to talk to salesman I have ever dealt with when buying a vehicle. There was never a point in time where I felt forced or uncomfortable during the process of buying this car. He was transparent and patient during all conversation. My experience at Koons was great from the moment I contacted them about the car I wanted. Kalyn Brown guided me through the early stages online and connected me with Jose Hernandez, whose low-pressure sales job I welcomed. When it came to financing, Latoya Gardner and Dennis Weaver (not the actor, per his nameplate) managed to wrangle a deal that beat my credit union’s, which isn’t easy, and again without high pressure tactics. (Latoya’s interactive desk actually made the process fun; if I didn’t have a car payment now I’d try to buy one for my office.) If I’d gotten $500 more for my trade-in, this would have been a 5-star review, but what they lacked in generosity (or, for my car, pity) they made up for in professionalism. My thanks to all of them for their help.

I went searching for the truck we wanted on a whim. Found it on a website and expressed interest in the truck and was greeted with a text very shortly after. We took care of most of our business prior to coming into the dealership. We ordered a car and when it came, we test drove and then got down to business. We had to wait a little bit of time to talk to the business person, but it wasn't bad at all. We learned about our new car a bit and cleared out our old one. Everyone was super friendly. The whole experience was very easy. We were in and out in 2 hours, which is a longer time than I had expected, but we did need to test drive first. I'm not thrilled about the $3000 markup to the car, but these are difficult times, so I get...I guess. It still sucks. Still, I would 100% buy a car from them again. Super nice people. Nice dealership.

My wife and I were in the market for a very specific type of 4runner. I bought two vehicles during the same day. While the salesperson was very attentive and customer service was generally good, I was somewhat disappointed with the miscommunication between personnel of different departments, and with how customer care drastically lowered once the vehicles were sold. While negotiations were not optimal, I was very understanding of the current car market situation; so this was a non-issue overall. Nonetheless, like people say, "the devil is in the details." I encountered multiple "promises" being made by one person, but the "promises" were not followed whatsoever by other personnel. Some negative aspects were significant, and some were petty -like being told that specialty plates were going to be shouldered by the dealer, when in reality they were eventually deducted from the trade-in overpayment; or being passed around like a hot potato from employee to employee before some features of one of the vehicles were officially activated (your calls and messages will most likely be "politely" ignored)- but it all hindered the overall experience.

I can't say enough about how amazing my experience with Koons Toyota was. From the minute I walked in to the time I left with my new Rav 4, they were absolutely wonderful. Both salesmen I worked with - Mikey and Tristan were absolutely wonderful and kind and knowledgeable. I truly felt like they were in it to help me find a good fit rather than just in it to sell whatever they could. Alex in finance was equally as helpful and knowledgeable. I left feeling wonderful and very much in love with my new car. I was already a Toyota fan but Koons in Annapolis has earned a customer for life with me!

My experience was great!!! Jose was my salesperson and he was terrific. He answered all of my questions and ensured I was clear on all of my options with no pressure. Despite having to wait over a month for my car (not their fault), I had a really good experience here. They have a pretty great team but Devon, in particular, was amazing. He helped me get on the allocation list for the car I wanted and kept me updated throughout the process. He’s a pretty chill guy and made the whole thing seamless and comfortable. I had a price in mind and everyone helped me get as close to that price as I could, which I appreciated in this economy. The staff were very friendly and easy to work with. We felt as if we didn’t have to negotiate. The appraisal of our current vehicle was quick and fair. When after working different payment timelines for the new vehicle price we were given, we realized the payments were out of budget and we were ready to head home (and come back when they got more cars in because that’s how easy the process was with them). The manager then came back and worked some magic to get the payments in our price range. We were very impressed by the professionalism of their staff and the ease of doing business with them. We highly recommend! We love our new 4Runner! The last few weeks have been a treat getting to ride this great car!

Well, let me tell you that I’m the most surprised person to be writing this review because I thought there was no way that I would walk out with a car this past Friday. But Mamadou made it happen and Jason sealed the deal. The price that I received for my trade was more than fair, as was the price I paid for my new 2022 Camry XSE Hybrid. My 12-year old son came with me to negotiate, and when we left, he said that Mamadou, Jada, and Jason were all “Canadian Nice,” meaning that they really were sincere in trying to make sure that we were comfortable. And that they did - I couldn’t be more pleased.

Armando was my service tech and he did an amazing job! He was so friendly and helpful and kept me informed every step of the way as I got my brakes, rotors and new a/c compressor installed. Previously purchased a car from this dealer and called in today to inquire about a new Sienna. The sales manager was friendly, but ultimately said they would be adding a 'Market Adjustment' to their pricing citing other dealers doing the same. Thankfully that is not true (after calling a couple dealers shortly thereafter). I was excited to purchase from this dealer again, but apparently their team of PhD Economists believe artificially manipulating the Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price to adjust to the market was the right thing to do. Pricing from the manufacturer of the vehicle has not changed as their reply says, but I guess they know more about the market than Toyota corporate does. Either way, can't blame them for trying to take advantage of customers in a slow market.

This is my second purchase at Koons Annapolis Toyota, this speaks volumes. Brian Tuma is amazing! He was professional, patient and attentive to what I needed in a used vehicle. THIS PLACE IS AMAZING! 10/10 would recommend! I bought my first car last week and had heard plenty of dealership horror stories. Koons Toyota in Annapolis completely changed my viewpoint on dealerships and made this experience so easy and fun for me! Erick Osorio Saavedra was my product specialist and he was so informative, kind, patient and answered every single question I had. He was very attentive and made sure I felt comfortable the entire time. Koons Toyota of Annapolis is just....wow!!! I had some terrible experienced at other Toyota dealers around Maryland. Sales Consultant Michael Harris went above and beyond any expectations. He is by no means, the stereotypical car salesman. He keeps it real and has an actual conversation with you. Makes you feel like you're not just a paycheck, which is just not an experience at a car dealership I expected. The manager Jason, who came in to close the deal, was incredible and super friendly. Never thought I would say that about a sales manager at a car dealer. In the end, he made me an offer I just couldn't walk away from. In this market, any other dealer just shuts down when it comes to negotiating. It was a welcome experience that will have me going there for all my services, even though they aren't the closest to me. I also have to mention the finance manager Alex. Very straight forward and willing to explain all the details. He is very patient, even when you want to read every word of the contract and ask an absurd amount of questions for clarification. All in all. You cannot go wrong with Koons Toyota of Annapolis. The only negative I can come up with is the pricing in the current market, but that isn't even their fault. It was about a 4/5 week long process from first going to look at vehicles to finally driving off the lot with one. Brandon Boggs was very professional and kept in communication throughout the whole process without being pushy on buying which was very appreciated. He kept us updated on the status of our vehicle as it got closer to showing up on the lot. The day after it arrived we were able to show up and complete the process within a couple hours, very smooth process and they worked with us to keep payments in our comfort zone. My salesperson Neal was a pleasure work with. I purchased the car I wanted at the price I wanted. I am a satisfied customer. The only portion of the process we found unpleasant was the unrelenting sales pitch in the finance office. I would suggest to provide the customer with extended warranty options and skip the high pressure sales pitch.

Great experience with the purchase of a pre-owned Toyota Corolla from Annapolis Koons. Brian Tuma with pre-owned and Kathy Klein with finance made the buying experience smooth. Everyone was very responsive to calls, emails, and texts through the process and after the sale. Even when I arrived late to an appointment to see the vehicle my treatment was exceptionally professional and staff remained flexible to answer all my questions. Highly recommend.

Since our local car dealership was unable to find the car we’ve been waiting for for over 2 months we decided to make a trip to Annapolis Md. from Carlisle Pa. Koon’s Toyota had the exact vehicle I wanted. I called and Jo was able to secure the vehicle with only a verbal promise that I would be there that day. Extremely polite and professional. The entire staff was very friendly and courteous as well. Jerry did an exceptional job with the financial logistics and comfortable humor all the while! Koon’s Toyota made my 2 hour drive worthwhile. They sold me a car and later that night the starter failed as I was going to drive home from dinner. The next morning, I couldn’t get a hold of anyone at the dealer or anyone at Toyota to help me because it was a Sunday. Now I am stranded with no operable car. Also they low-balled me on my trade-in. I had to negotiate it up to an acceptable range. Terrible experience. Update: I have not received this reimbursement for a new car battery they offered to pay for.
