Knoxville TVA Employees Credit Union Market Pl Dr, Maryville

I called this morning to find out if my direct deposit had deposited or was pending. The rep told me she didn't see anything yet but that it could later today.. As soon as I got off the phone they closed my account because it had been in the negative for more than 30 days- that's because 1. They allowed a company that I canceled my order for to withdraw the amount AFTER TVA released it back to me and 2. I was out of work for that time period due to an injury but have gone back to work and expected my check to deposit today. They knew I was to receive a deposit that would cover my negative balance and of course they also know how much trouble this will cause me and they chose to do so anyway. Horrible company. I asked to speak to a supervisor and of course there were none available and your rep told me he could only send me to collections so call back for what?

Normally bank experience there is great, but this past Tuesday I went in to cash a small check. I didn't have my account number with me, not usually a problem, I handed the young man my license. He then says I need your SS number. Not just the last 4 but the whole thing, out loud in front of other customers. He should have slid me a paper to write it down not have to say it out loud enough for him to hear thru the partition. I will never go to his window again.

They NEVER EVER EVER answer the phone!!!! Closing accounts because of this! NO EXCUSE

Friendly staff and they are super helpful. I have never had to wait in a long line at the Market Place location. They truly care about customers and fast at getting transactions complete.

I cannot say enough about the Knoxville TVA Employee's credit union! Especially the new Maryville branch! I have literally been a member my whole life and i can honestly say i've never had a bad experience here! I recently decided to get a new camper so i stopped in and got a loan. The process is so easy and the staff are so friendly! I know most of them by name and every time i go in there it is just a good, positive experience. I especially want to say THANK YOU to Kim White. Kim has done multiple loans for me over the years and always has everything in order to make everything easy. Kim is one of the main reasons i continue to come here AND refer everyone i know! The TVA Credit Union should be PROUD it employees such outstanding people, like Kim! Thanks!!! 😃👍

I have been a member for 17 years. Trust this place. I do all my banking needs here for my personal use, business use, and also have savings for my children. Nice staff, clean place. Never had any issues here. Would recommend this bank to anyone and every one
