Great experience! My vehicle was totaled and I was under a time crunch to find something new. A different area dealership had horrible customer service so I moved forward and called Kia. Gordy called me back instantly every time and got everything done for me in one day! We recently purchased a Kia Soul. The car itself is sturdy and well-built, handles well, has good visibility, and is quick when accelerated. We are very well pleased. Our salesman, Kenny Foster, knows his products and answered every question we had. His honest and genuine character made us feel we were dealing with a reputable business. We give him an A+.

2+ years since I purchased my car and they still haven't fixed it. I bought a used VW from them in October of 2019. Before I singed any agreement, I wanted 3 things fixed. 1) The tires were balding, so those needed to be replaced. 2) The brakes were nearly gone, so they needed to be replaced. 3) The radio was not working, so that needed to be replaced. They agreed to replace 2 tires, the brakes, and fix the radio. All of that was done in writing, before the purchase. It's been an ongoing issue for over 2 years. They had the radio taken out to be fixed (something I had to take time off of work to take care of myself), but I never got a call back to get it replaced. When called on it, they said that I refused the service. I never refused service. After that, I told them what I expected. The radio that I had presumed would be in my car would need to be fixed and put back in, or a comparable replacement. Since then, they have not returned my calls or emails. Do NOT buy a car from these people. They will lie as much as they need to in order to screw over customers. When that doesn't work, they'll just ghost you.

My family and I were on vacation in Duluth, and our car broke down! There was some panic as we had to go home in only two days. It was also the end of the work day for the Kia employees. They showed compassion for the urgency of the situation, and helped calm our nerves. Ryan fit us in, just to be a nice person. You can tell when someone is genuinely kind. He kept us calm and helped us. He is a great employee and definitely not “just another technician”. Thank you for having wonderful employees!!

I don't recommend anyone to do business here.. I had stopped in to look at a 2014 kia forte I was interested in. I was pressured into signing a purchase agreement for the vehicle after looking at it briefly and was told nothing was wrong with the car. Said the tire was a little low that's why the tire pressure sensor was on. I bought the car with the northland package promised to be taken care of the next Saturday. There was no one available to do the service through two different appointments. I had called a couple weeks after purchasing the car to ask for a service report because the car feels unsafe driving on the highway. Service report said the driver lower ball joint is bad and parts were ordered. I assumed it was taken care of. I called and asked the service department if the problem was fixed and they said it was not. I called the sales person and asked about it and asked why I was not told about it before the purchase and he gave me excuses none of which explained anything. Told me well you've been driving it so it's drivable. Yes I had been driving an unsafe vehicle. Thanks. I asked to talk to a manager and I was told what would you even say, and wasn't transferred. The transmission slips. And has a delayed shift from reverse to drive. Has trouble shifting from second to third. The car they sold me for 12 thousand is a piece of junk and they knew it. They even admitted they knew about everything I'm having issues with now and won't do anything about it. They don't return phone calls. I don't recommend doing business with them

We worked with a sales associate and test drove a 2022 Kia EV6. It was a great vehicle and asked the associate if we could put a down payment on it to hold it for the weekend and then finalize the purchase the following Monday. He was very agreeable and called us back asking if we could do him a favor. He asked if we could sign the sales papers on a Saturday as it was the end of the month and it would help the dealership get another EV6 allocated quicker. We agreed. He then called us back and said the dealership needed to charge us an additional $5000 for the purchase. After doing a favor for the dealership having them increase the purchase amount was a kick in the shorts. I understand these cars are in demand but if we would have known up front about the "dealership" charge we could have made an informed decision. I did not appreciate their approach and would be skeptical about doing business with this dealership in the future

Do not go here. Purchased a vehicle less than 1 year ago and have been offered no help whatsoever and no one returns calls. Gordon hung up on me when I told him I was recording the call in response to him yelling and talking over me. One minute they need to have the service department see the vehicle, email from a different sales rep next day says they don’t need service to see the vehicle. Worst experience thus far. Kolar in hermantown has been great - go there!

The archaic experience of, "Let me ask my manager" is still in place with Kia of Duluth. The interesting thing about my experience was that the Sales Manager asked to drive my vehicle to make an assessment. The very individual that was to assess my vehicle stated he couldn't put an automatic into gear. That's alarming for someone in the car business to have that struggle an make assessments about thr value of vehicles. Unfortunately, we chose against doing business with Kia of Duluth, as the realization that a fair sale was never likely. I wish them the best of luck, however, I won't be doing business with them until they can work with their customer base.

very poor customer service and parts department really lacks either training or basic knowledge ont the very cars and parts they sell. called several times and talked with a few people here, after spending hours on the phone and being transfered to several perople we still have gotten no where closer to being done or having a resolution to the issue at hand, they have spent more time passing off to one another then dealing with the issue at hand. very disapointing and dishearting..

Not helpful at all. We will never buy a Kia again. Rude and junk for vehicles. All 2910 to 2915 engines blow up around 120,000 miles. Now issues with the other years too. Don't waste your money.

I have to tell you, I was skeptical. But wow. Thank you to Paul and Sarah today, we had a great time buying our new to us vehicle today. Absolutely the easiest car buying experience we have had! Very friendly, very helpful. Fun, and with not so perfect credit either, not to mention, Paul helped us on his day off with pre- approved before we walked in. Thank you very Very much! The Smiths UPDATE: and the reason for one star( I wish I could give 0) Since buying our car from KIA of Duluth and this review I would never buy from there again this has no reflection on our sales person at all!! It's the service department they are terrible!!!!!! QUITE POSSIBLY THE WORST AROUND. Right after we purchased our car we noticed that the air conditioning did not work within a week (3days)we asked them to fix it mind you, it was winter when we bought it and we did not know it did not work they would not go good on this, Also we had to replace several alternators in this vehicle without them helping a bit. When I tell you there's service department is the worst around I am not kidding. I ended up trading what was a $14,000 vehicle on a $4,000 vehicle without looking back once within 2 years!! I will never own a Kia in my life again knowing that I would have to service it at a Kia dealer... buyer beware!!!!!!

Worst service I have ever seen. I have been here twice and both have been bad. On my recent visit I had ordered a part needed for my vehicle on a Thursday and was told it would come in 3-5 days. After 3 days I gave them a call to see when it would come in to make sure I could get an appointment on the books. I was told the parts employees were on lunch and they took my name and number. After not hearing back from them I called back the next day and left a voicemail. After not hearing back at 5 days I gave two more calls where my name and number were taken. After 6 days I drove to Kia of Duluth and was told THE PART WAS NEVER ORDERED. I guess they couldn’t have told me this when I called any of the 5 times. I then ordered the piece for expedited shipping to arrive in 1-2 days since I needed it. The guy made a point of taking my name and number on a post it note and he seemed nice but I was angry. After not hearing from them the next day I drove down to make sure the part was ordered. Apparently it has arrived that morning but no one even bothered to call me… again. I took the part and had Abra install it. I hope to never have to visit this place in the future and will no longer be buying Kia cars.

Bought my first Kia ever and boy was the experience seamless. After purchasing many cars before I expected to be at the dealership all day. This wasn’t the case! The longest part of my car buying experience was the tour of the vehicle itself which was thoroughly appreciated as it was quite different from what I had. I would definitely buy from this dealership again. My sales person Kenny even called me the next morning to see if I was getting more comfortable with it and asked if I had any questions he could answer. Above and beyond!

Brought my vehicle in for a recall issue and also mentioned it was making a noise. They called me later in the day to tell me what the issue was and price to fix it. I agreed to the price then when I came to pick it up the bill was around $500 more then what they said on the phone. I’m not sure I would have agreed to have the work done there for that much if they had given the accurate price upfront. The staff was friendly and other than the price miscommunication things were good.

I bought a 2022 Kia Telluride and our salesman Kenny was great! He was very patient as I test drove multiple vehicles and answered all the questions I had. They had our kia for 9 weeks! Didn't keep us informed as to why it was taking so long or what was going on. I called and asked that they give an update at least once a week and even though she said she would,she didn't. I wanted a new Kia but now am quite hesitant. I dis like/don't trust the service department. My money is good anywhere so l will find another dealer that treats loyal customers better. You maybe should too.

I went in for an oil change and a problem with my GPS lindsey in service turned me onto Waze and not only did she set it up for me but she walked me through the app and was patient enough to answer my ton of questions...thank you so much lindsey. We traveled to KIA of Duluth to help our niece buy a good reliable car. Caleb, the salesman, helped her use his computer to get her financial information necessary for the loan process and how much she would be able to spend on a car. Caleb was a great help. He brought up a KIA Forte to take for a test drive. Our niece loved it. It gets great gas mileage which was important because she is a single mother of 2 little girls. It took a few hours to get everything done. The financial officer helped find a bank to finance the purchase. He was very good at his job and a friendly man to deal with. The dealership had just taken it in on trade and hadn't had time to detail it. While that was being taken care of, Caleb promised he would take care of her and keep her safe until it was ready so we could make the 90 mile drive back home. The dealership had a small fridge with bottles of water, snacks and coffee as well as vending machines. They had clean restrooms and a sofa, love seat, and television in a lounge. It was a hot day and there was no air conditioning. That was the only downer.

Bad place took advantage of our bad situation got us into a car and had to replace 4 tires cause of bulging. Bearings, caliper, they dont care what they sell to whom as long as they make money. They have no conscience.

Jayden in the service department was so nice and accommodating. I needed a completely new engine and I was a couple hundred miles over my bumper to bumper warranty. My warranty claim to fix my car was denied at first but Jayden kept trying to push it through and after a week and a half I was approved to have the engine replaced for free of charge. This saved me lots of stress and thousands of dollars. I highly recommend this place to have your Kia serviced.

I am a first time loaner through Kia and was basically sold a vehicle that wasnt even suppose to leave the lot. ( One of their own mechanics even told me so ). I thought I was getting a good deal and from a trusted dealer but everything from the truck to the CONSTANT repair issues ( of which was 90% out of pocket and NOT included in the warranty, happening after leaving the lot ) has been nothing but a shady hustle. A shady hustle by a dealer taken advantage of a first time buyer. After I pay this loan off, I will NEVER shop with Kia again and hope that the next first time buyer does a little more research then I did as well as bring an experienced person in loaning vehicles with them. I can show ALL the repair cost if ANYBODY out there would like to see for themselves that I am not lying.
