KeyBank E Yelm Ave, Yelm

I opened my account at the Key Bank branch in Lacey, WA but since I live near Yelm WA, I go to the KeyBank in Yelm WA. I have a speech impediment that my words slurred, for the listener, it is confusing to hear me speak. I have been going to KeyBank in Yelm for the last 4.5 years. My speech is getting worse, so I write on a note what services I need and hand the note to the teller. The first time I handed a note to a teller was probably three years ago. The teller at that time thought the note was telling I was robbing the bank like in the movies. Besides my speech is impaired, I nearly 78 year years old. After a few attempts to communicate from me and the teller, after a few attempts, now, we communicate really well. All the tellers treat me well, but specially, Laurie Hoover and Jimmie St. John treat me with patience and respect. If I am happy with the KeyBank in Yelm why not 5 stars? I write a lot reviews. To me, 5 stars is perfect. No business is perfect. I would give 4.5 stars if that is possible, but isn't.

I am extremely disappointed with this entire Establishment! I am a customer for many years. We recently moved to Yelm and my son got his first job. Upon my advice he opened an account at the Yelm Key bank branch office. Recently he took advantage of the online mobile app where you can take a photo of your check and deposit it. He did this on a Friday not realizing the 24 hours it would take to process only includes week days as business days- even though the Bank is open on Saturday. So out of concern , and being a graveyard shift worker my so. Checked his online app periodically throughout the night shift as he needed to shop for his two babies before he returned home hat morning. Well Keybank put a fraud alert on his account because he checked his balance too many times???!!!??? We go to the Branch and they tell us to go call the fraud dept. The Fraud Department tells us to go into the Branch we opened our account in. And it continues- they still have his money and no one will help us. What do I do? Call the police and press charges for theft? What do we do ? They have hundreds of his dollars

I can't stand that they aren't open on Sat/Sun. The weekend is when people have the opportunity to GO to the bank if they have busy lives. That's my only complaint but it's a damned big one. ~edit~ Oh yeah sure I want to drive 50 miles away to find one of your open branches. It will make more sense for me to find a bank in Yelm that actually works on saturdays and get rid of you altogether. Just an inconvenience. I don't want to download your app (just clutter), I want to walk in to my bank on a saturday when I'm running errands.

Every single employee at Key Bank in Yelm has been very professional, courteous and helpful when I go there. I opened an account at that bank because I retired and it is closer to my home.

Opened my new account there last week,so far so good.No big red flags with staff,customer service etc. The biggest valid problem I see people have is the location now being closed saturdays,but I knew that before opening an account so I'm ok with it.For me its close enough to home to reach during business hours .I will keep you posted and give an updated review based on further experiences in the next months.

I'm disabled and when the staff see me coming, they open the door for me, going in and going out. They always ask how I'm doing with my recovery.

Always nice to me there staff is really friendly. There was another Key Bank I went to that made me a little angry and aggravated. I love The Yelm Key Bank a lot its where I cash my pay checks from work there always nice to me.

Really bad customer service they always have a can’t answer in stead of helping the customer they just want to make appointments for everything. I bet all the customer are working people it’s not like we can come in the morning so management can handle our questions. They definitely need more training specially the new staff.

Always a hassle with anyone I talk to there. Its always I can't do that for you or your not aloud to do that I have always liked my keybank but this staff every single one of them are horrible would not recommend them to anyone I will drive the half hr to my spanaway bank where they are VERY NICE and HELPFUL.. Do not waste your time with this bank

The bank teller would not allow me to deposit a Chilean hen into my safe deposit box. I ask, why then is it a safe deposit box?
