This is a horrible bank branch. Some employees great some questionable but the real problem is the feeling they could care less about the customers as a company. Terrible hours and since the takeover from first niagara ( pre pandemic) the branch is poorly staffed leading to long wait times. Also- how about some freaking saturday hours. For god sake this branch and the downtown might as well not exist to a working person who wants to come in. Cortland and auburn have sat hours and some days with longer hours so why cant ithaca???

Worst bank I have ever had to deal with, got a check over 500$ from people I was working for and drove all the way from Corning to this bank and they needed a second form of ID, fine except the only other form of ID they accept is a credit card or another debit card from different bank. Literally had my license and social security card my birth certificate and plenty of other stuff that proves I'm me and still no go and not only that but the people working there were very ride about it. I will never start a bank account with them cause I wouldn't want someone else I gave a check to have to go through the same.

This bank is great. I never have problems using this bank. Staffs are really nice, but not all of them. Some staffs not understand customer needs really well. But they tried. I hope they keeping keep tight relations with customers because Key Bank customers are very awesome.

This bank is extremely dishonest. They will charge you $2.50 to withdraw money from other "Regional" Key Bank ATMs. They will also charge you $3.00 a month for paper billing even if you turn it off. Credit unions are far more honest. Stay away! I actually contacted the BBB regarding false charges from this bank. Obviously I closed my account. P.s. Despite the owners response below, if you open your account at a different keybank location, they WILL charge you $2.50 to withdraw money from other "non regional" key bank ATMs. I have never heard of a bank charging their customers to use their own ATMs.

We are just as glad to render these same services to those who are not yet our customers – we simply ask that they “pay as they go” for them. Checks cashed by those who are not our customers still require the same level of service, hence the fee. We also feel strongly that consumers should have the choice to either cash a check at KeyBank and pay the fee, or choose not to, and go to their own financial institution. That is why the teller informed you of the fee before you completed the transaction. Please be aware that KeyBank policies comply with the Uniform Commercial Code. Nothing wrong with this branch in particular. Actually the employees are really nice people. What the problem is since the takeover of first niagara by keybank there are charges on everything that were not there before apparently even using their atms. Ive gotten a number of new charges which I did not agree to and did not have before, out of nowhere. Also they are not honoring the overdraft stopping system first niagara and hsbc had (i bet this makes them a ton of money). So, great employees and a bad system behind it. I kinda hope someone good buys them and they keep all the current employees because honestly, I havent met a sub par one yet.

I have never had an extremely negative experience at a bank before. This was the first and last time I will go to this or any Keybank. The person there was incredibly rude not not to me, but also to her colleague that was having trouble assisting me with a deposit. It was incredibly unnecessary and unjustified

I originally banked with First Niagara and I loved them. Since they closed and KeyBank automatically took over my accounts I've had nothing but problems. Fees are outrageous. Read the fine print before opening any account with this bank. I will be switching banks asap.

This was one of the worst banking experiences I have ever had. Abysmal customer service. Misinformation. Refusal to help due to laziness. Told me to call a number because they couldn't help at the local branch. Called the number and they said I had to go into the branch and that they could have helped me earlier. Utterly unacceptable. Closing my account.
