I was referred to Keith by a friend after a previous mortgage company in the area (fairway) screwed us. The whole process with the previous lender was a mess and we were notified 3 days prior to closing, we didn't qualify, essentially leaving my family in the streets. Keith his team not only closed me quick, they were able to get me approved for a house $20,000 more then the previous lender. Mandi was the main person I worked with who was amazing at handling my million questions every 2 days. You might see negative reviews on this company but that's only because they fall for the fairy tales of other lenders. This company is extremely straightforward and will be honest from the start. Keith personally followed up with me numerous times after my closing to check up. If your seriously looking for a house and looking for a quick close with no BS, then Keith and his team is the way to go! Thank you all again!

I was referred to Keith 4 years ago and I just closed on my second property thanks to him and his great team. I was turned down by a lender before going to Keith, and his team approved me and made it as painless as possible.

These guys have all been amazing! I couldn’t ask for a more patient group, with my roller coaster of emotions they always were there to reassure me and help guide us in any way possible. Because of them we close on our dream home tomorrow!

Ask around town before doing business with 1st American. I came to them because they were recommended to me by my real estate agent who said they could help me with my VA Loan. I got “prequalified” for an amount by their office and found a place that I really adored. With the encouragement of their office I placed the deposit and proceeded with inspections. A week later I was told that I wouldn’t qualify for the VA loan at the promised prequalified amount but could abandon that right and muster up an extra 7k for a deposit and switch to an FHA loan. When I expressed I could not muster up 7K in a flash it was recommended to me to put my car loan in my sisters name (sketchy) or get my income taxes back in two weeks....Let me remind you, the only reason I was pursuing buying a home was BECAUSE of the VA Loan I had earned serving in the military! In a nutshell- I followed through with inspections on a house I was never qualified to afford & lost $750, months worth of time on paperwork, agonized in stress, and most importantly- wasted the sellers time and money for negotiated for repairs. Moreover, towards the end dealing Keith left me feeling defeated and almost bullied. He blamed me for, “not wanting to follow through,” but this was not the plan. I have been told I misinterpret his “drive” and “enthusiasm” but to me being unapologetic, pushy, and manipulative is no way to do business. FIRST TIME BUYERS BEWARE.

Keith was knowledgeable and helpful. There was not a question he could not answer. In addition, he and his staff are always available. We have done 3 loans with him and have had no problems with any.

Keith was wonderful! I purchased a home with his help, when every other mortgage company were telling me no! He walked me through the credit process and step by step to help fix some issues with my credit due to unforeseen circumstances. Mandy and Keith contacted me daily , and directed me what to do. I would recommend him to anybody who had fallen on hard times. I never thought this dream would become a reality. Thanks again for helping me come home!!
