    Very poorly run, smoke and mirrors—definitely NOT up to American Express standards. I have had nothing but bad experiences with Kabbage. While a few representatives were good on the phone, some are utterly terrible, and that's when you can actually reach them. Kabbage sent an email that say to call a number if you didn't receive your card, but when I called, it's not even the right number to call, no option to press if you didn't receive a card. Just a lot of options to wade through that all tell you to go online. When I finally got in touch with them, they told me the card was coming by FedEx but couldn't provide tracking. It eventually arrived by US mail. They don't know what they're doing or talking about. Later, I deposited a check for $10,000 and days later it still wasn't credited—it just vanished, no notice there was an issue, nothing. Endless waiting on hold to get an unsatisfactory explanation.

    I have been looking for an online business checking account for a while. And I received the Kabbage information because I am a American Express customer. It was easy to open the account. It is a great product, but… 1) It is very difficult to set up direct deposit to receive fund. It provides only your account number and routing. I have to google the bank address and phone number (I found out it is green dot bank). It was confusing. I am able to set up most of that but some will not accept the information. 2) Mobile deposit - it takes a few business days to get the deposits into your account (many banks do this almost instantly); 3) The phone app is horrible. I could not use my iPhone fingerprint to open. I have to use my AM Exp credential to sign in. 4) The account indicates my link bank accounts have problems but in fact there is none; 5) A few days ago, I logged into my account and found out it has been locked. I called a rep, and he could not unlocked. Then he created a ticket. I just logged into and it is still locked after a few business day. No access to my fund and could not use my debit card.

    The process of getting a loan quickly was when my company needed it, was a great experience. I worked with my account manager John Harrison to get the loan setup and funded quickly. John was excellent and so helpful I really appreciate his assistance. If you need a loan quickly, call John! He's the best!

    After checking with several lenders on line, I received a mail item from Kabbage. I called and ended up talking with John Harrison who was very helpful in explaining my short coming and why I was limited on the available loan amount and how I could increase that amount. First time in a long time that I feel I got the straight scoop from a loan company. I highly recommend Kabbage and John in particular to deal with.

    I've had Kabbage for over a year and took out several loans with them. They always made me feel like I was beneath them when speaking to the reps. Then I would be offered a gift card during a loan promo but would not receive them. The last thing that put me over the edge to close the account was that they wouldn't help me with my account during these Covid19 times. I took a loan less then a month prior to my business being shut down so I didn't have a chance to really use the funds. I held it or a month longer to see if things would open back up. Once I realized things would not be opening back up I tried to reach out several times to give the money back and close the loan. Finally someone got back to me but they wouldn't waive the extra interest payments because I didn't pay it off prior to the interest posting to my account. Even though I attempted to reach them multiple times throughout the process. Thank you Kabbage for taking an additional $1500 from me because you aren't able to communicate properly. If you want funds easily use them if you want good customer service and to be treated right then try someone else.

    After reading a glowing summary about Kabbage in Forbes magazine, I applied with Kabbage in February for a business line of credit pre-pandemic, received approval, then after receiving a series of nudges from Kabbage sales to utilize it, including the incentive for a 50 day extension on my first payment, I withdrew a portion with the clear understanding that the approved balance would be available at my discretion. Fast forward to today, and despite my prompt and full payment, Kabbage is advising that my approved funds are not available and “to be patient.” So much for partnership. It never crossed my mind to think about those funds until I needed them for business related projects, and now I’m learning that Kabbage can’t deliver as promised. Not exactly the foot on which a business owner would like to start a financial relationship. I went in thinking Kabbage had a unique value proposition, but, sorry to say, no. Proceed with caution, if at all.

    Working with John Harrison on a company line of credit. It was dead simple to setup (total time less than 30 minutes) and, John was able to increase my line and improve my payback terms. So much easier than going to a brick and mortar bank.

    They have been absolutely terrible. Our business took a couple loans during the pandemic and had one addressed and forgiven within 2 weeks of submitting paperwork. With Kabbage, we are now on month 6 (since they confirmed they had all the info they needed from us). Each time we call back, they confirm they have what they need and tell us they will communicate with the service department, then we get more emails asking for the same info we have already provided. We called back again today(Jan 24th) and Supervisor John (who we spoke with on Dec 6) confirmed AGAIN that we had provided EVERYTHING they had asked for, then asked us to provide newer versions of the stuff we had provided months ago. He can't tell us why they keep asking for the info even though he has now personally twice confirmed we gave them what they asked for. He promised to take care of our case and nothing positive has occurred. While owned by AmEx, they appear to be operating autonomously and with bad intent. It appears they are trying to drag customers along continue to ask for the same paperwork over and over again, and won't do nothing to resolve your issues. John, who promised to take cared of our case has made ZERO progress but claimed he was handling our case for us. When pushed as to what progress he has made since 12/6, he could offer none. Kabbage should be ashamed of themselves for what they are doing to small buisnesses.

    Absolutely terrible. I have spent countless hours dealing with this team in hope of resolving a simple issue with my first PPP funding application that was processed incorrectly. Easily 30 plus phone calls to be brushed off, mis-informed, and mislead. Given the runaround over and over again, falsely informed my issues were resolved when they were not, and consistently misinformed is just poor business. Using this organization is truly one of the biggest mistakes of my working career as a business owner, and I honestly can not process how poor their business and dealing with issues has been handled. I would advise anyone to look at any other funding, banking or credit company other then Kabbage, or KServicing. Beware of this entity, regardless of who they are backed or owned by, because in the event you have an issue, you will not be able to have it resolved. The absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced as a small business owner.

    I an currently involved with Kabbage for a PPP loan, and I found them to be extremely helpful and willing to walk me through a process that was challenging for me. I worked with Jake and Taylor and they were wonderful. The only frustration I have is that it is hard to get through. I suppose when you a building a company based on a great service , you will be inundated, that is a good thing. As my business grows i feel that Kabbage is a company that I would feel comfortable going back to.

    The worst ... sent multiple emails to customer service with an extremely simple and straightforward (albeit, time sensitive) request and have not received a single response back. The first email was sent 17 days ago. I’m not one to complain, but this is unacceptable. As someone who works in a customer-facing role, I can assure you this is no way to run a business. I’m hoping that by posting this, someone from Kabbage will simply get back to me.

    Don't do it. After a well established payment history and decent line of credit Kabbage jumped ship on my account during the pandemic with absolutely NO communication about it. I used my line for routine deliveries and only found out after my supplier notified me of a transaction decline. Logged on and there was some non sense message about doing a routine evaluation and that I would not have access to my funds until further notice. That turned to an after the fact email from the CEO saying how sorry they were and they should have done better in notifying their customers. Bottom line...the funds are no longer there. In a time of most need for small business Kabbage turned their backs and offered a pathetic email to explain after the fact. If Kabbage is not on solid enough ground to maintain loan availability to small business they should not be lenders at all.

    Working with Nelson Long to finalize my PPP loan process has been fantastic. I was approved for PPP about a week ago and had to call to finalize my deposit instructions. But because of the high demand, I couldn't get through. I'd emailed as well but hadn't heard back from anyone. I decided to reach out to the CEO on social media and ask for his help.
