Wow, I've been through the home loan and refinancing process a few times previously and this was by far the easiest and fastest process I've had. While the Tampa Home Loan Expert's stellar reviews speak for themselves, I think that I can offer other potential home buyers a unique perspective about working with this amazing team. I would imagine that most of Tampa Home Loan Expert's clients are generally excited to be purchasing a home -- a great achievement, and one that often represents the start of an exciting new chapter. However, I was not one of these clients. Just a few months ago, I had to suddenly uproot my life and sell my home so that I could move over 200 miles away to be closer to family after my father-in-law passed away. After moving to the Tampa Bay area, I entered a less-than-ideal rental situation while trying to grieve and eventually, buy a new home in the area. As you could imagine, purchasing a new home was not a happy or exciting thing for me, given these circumstances. While there are many great things that I can say about this team's expert knowledge, their problem solving abilities, and their professionalism, the absolute best thing about this team is their compassion. They understood that this process was exceptionally difficult for me, the person -- not just me, the home buyer. With all of my emails and phone calls full of questions and anxieties, never once did this team make me feel like I was bothering them. In this regard, I have to give a special thank you to Tim and Joni. With them on my side, I had complete faith that whatever obstacles came up during the loan approval process would be quickly identified and addressed. They went over and beyond to reassure me that we would reach the finish line eventually. I'm now two days away from closing and we are officially "clear to close". While my family is still healing from our loss, we are finally starting to look forward to our new home, our new chapter, and whatever comes next. If I could, I would give Jon howard and his team of all stars , many more stars. The week of February 14, I found a property I wanted to purchase. On Friday evening February 18 Jon went above and beyond to assure that my offer would be accepted. My situation had a few complexities to it but I was able to successfully close on my new condo on April 8th. I am delighted with my interest rate and had the opportunity to interact with most of the people in Jon's office. They were so easy to work with . Their communications were always clear and concise. keeping me updated throughout the process . All members of Jon's team worked with with my folks ( cpa, insurance agent etc) on an as needed basis as well as weekly status type emails. Jon and his entire team did an amazing job making my new home purchase stress free. The process started with Jon and his team putting together a pre-approval of our loan in less than 12 hours on a Saturday. I don't think there are any other lenders that would provide that kind of customer service. That level of service continued every day until we went to closing. I was up against a sudden home buying deadline, and was in contact with two other mortgage lenders, but nothing was working out in my favor (inconsistent income in 2020, newly self-employed, etc). A very close friend of mine recommended Jon Howard's company and team to me, but for whatever reason, I just never reached out to them. Lo and behold, I received a phone call from Jon at the right very moment. I had received another "no" from a third lender and my window to purchase was running out. Jon was very reassuring, calming but confident, and prompt in not only answering questions but having his team of rockstars work on my application. At the end of it all, Jon, Christine, Joni and the rest of his team made magic happen and helped me get approved. I'm not leaving them a perfect 5-star rating just because they were the lending company that got me approved. Even if I lost the deal, I would still give them 5-stars because of their friendliness and warmth, promptness, attention to detail, and professionalism. They truly made one of the most stressful situations less taxing, and I am beyond grateful to have had the pleasure to work with them.

Unfortunately I started working with a different company of headset jockeys before I found out about Jon. I really wish I would’ve contacted him sooner, because I could have gotten a better rate if we locked on the same day. However, after having Jon review my estimate, the market had tanked, and Jon was honest enough to tell me that I had a better deal and then told me how to restructure the loan to better serve my needs. Loan Pronto had me coming to the table with 30k, and after talking with Jon, he helped go back to Loan Pronto, to structure the loan that was best for me. It was hard to get anyone on the phone with some of these other companies, but Jon talked to me after hours to make sure I got the best deal on something that he wouldn’t get credit for. I wish I would’ve gone to Jon first. Exceptional customer service!

I hate Jon Howard. I hate him when it comes to Fantasy Baseball. I consider him my nemesis—in Fantasy Baseball. I’m convinced his back to back championships are fake news and there needs to be an investigation into his team. It was rigged because there is no way he’s this good. Which is why it pains me to say that when it comes to mortgages and helping you get your home, Jon Howard knows what he’s doing. Let’s rewind. Our fantasy season had concluded. I messaged him to congratulate him (begrudgingly) on his back to back championship season (whatever). That’s when I told him about how my wife and I were buying a home in New Jersey and then we got to talking. I asked him to take a look at my lender’s agreement because we had some concerns. He agreed and I sent it to over to him and he called me immediately. Told me I wasn’t getting a fair shake and he could find me a better deal. I told him we closed in 20 days and he assured me not to panic—that a deal could get done. He got me in contact with a local lending company and, sure enough, I got a better a deal and we were able to close on time. I was able to save on my monthly payments while even managing to save some extra cash in the bank. I owe it all to Jon. He didn’t have to help me. I live in New Jersey. He’s all the way in Florida. He wasn’t making a dime on this. He did it because he genuinely cares and he’s that kind of a person to go out of his way to get the right deal for people. Listen, anyone can do the job and get you a mortage, but with Jon it’s more than that. He’s a good person who wants to do what’s right by people. In my book, that goes a very long way and it’s that type of person I’d rather be doing business with. My only regret is that I couldn’t directly do business with him. So like I said, I hate Jon Howard, but man did I love his help. You suck, Jon but I love you.
