My family and I bought several brand new cars from this dealership. Our experience have been great until August of 2021. I traded my Camry for a different car. When we we're running numbers with the sales manager, he guaranteed a certain amount that I will be refunded from gap insurance and extended warranties from the Camry. The amount I received was no where close to what he promised. Disappointed for not following through. I sent an email out to clarify this, but have not heard back at all. Most likely will not do business here again, and would not recommend to friends and family.

My husband and I got vehicles from Jimmy Vasser Toyota 4 months ago. I am leaving my review now to actually let you know the quality of vehicles they’re selling off the lot. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. They’re nice, and have great customer service, but that’s about it. I got a 2019 RAV 4 with 9,000 miles on it and in a week it needed to be serviced for the front transfer case. My husband bought a 2019 Jaguar F-pace and after 2 months we had to replace the battery because it kept dying. $500 down the drain! We thought that would be the end of the problems, so we drove it on our road trip to our home state, MT. Two days after being in Montana the engine light comes on and of course there are no mechanics nearby that works on a Jaguar. Long story short, they do not sell reliable cars. They will break down on you 6 months or less. The absolute worst decision we ever made and we will tell all our friends and family to never do business here.

Definitely 10/10 would recommend! Kyle , Elliot and Mariano went above and beyond to help me get the car I wanted ! They literally drove 5 hours just to help me with paperwork! Can’t thank these guys enough. It’s rare when the dealership will listen to what you want and I felt very heard by these guys !

Drove in from about 40 mins because they had the exact car I wanted in stock. I was expecting a classic car dealership experience but it was like going into CarMax. This place is a hidden gem tucked away in the North Bay. Mike M. helped me from the Internet Department and he was very friendly and knowledgeable. I've been to car dealerships where it felt like they were all looking down on you. Not here, they had my car prepped and ready for me to test as soon as we got here and not once did I get bad vibes from any of the staff. Need a new or used car? This is definitely worth the drive.

Anthony and the rest of the service team have consistently taken great care of both of my family’s vehicles for the past few years. Any work that has been done outside of routine maintenance has had fair pricing and was done within the timeframe they committed to. I would recommend you take your car here for service without hesitation. (I did not purchase my cars from them but will consider doing so when the time comes.)

My wife and I worked with Will at Jimmy Vasser in Napa. 2022 Covid is hard going for a “good” selection of vehicles, however, Will found us anew arrival vehicle that was everything and more. We had been searching for a Toyota Highlander. Vasser had both hybrid and petrol models. The stars aligned for us. We got the windy pearl with carmel saddle interior with platinum trim. Will made it easy and fast with the financing with Mariano. Easy touch screen signing. No more crazy triplicate copies you cant read. Vassers financing and signing department is similar to modern day realestate using docusign. Made easy and didnt take your whole day. Thank you Will.

I feel scammed. When I purchased my vehicle I was sold a maintenance plan for a completely different car. After spending a month trying to get a hold of the right department and even just get get a response, they finally answered and said they would refund the amount straight to the bank that is providing me the loan. I was fine with that, we came to an agreement, and I was told they’d take care of it. A year later I checked in with the bank and it turns out they never refunded the amount that was promised to me. I reached out to the sales manager once again and he said he’d check on it then disappeared for a few days. After I texted again requesting a response to this, he just said he’s working on tracking it and disappeared for another few days. As of right now, still no answer. And it’s so frustrating. I would not recommend purchasing a vehicle from Jimmy Vasser in Napa.

I walked into the dealership having done a lot of research specifically on the 2020 Corolla Hybrid. Will was amazing in sharing more details about the features of the car, how it compared to other car models, and letting me get a feel for how the car drove. My husband and I went to this dealership to shop for a car to replace my Highlander 08’. We’ve been a Toyota owners for about 16 years now so we’re considering having another Toyota. We’re highly satisfied by the customer service provided by Martin and Bill. Bill gave us a call early in the morning on a fair pricing that we were trying to negotiate a day before. We were greeted by Martin, he is friendly and professional. He took his time showing us different cars and options. His demeanor made us feel at ease. Hello people, I usually stay away from dealerships to have work done on my car. And that's because of the price. But when my mechanic could not figure out what was wrong they sent me to Toyota in Napa. So I called and I met Anthony that works there. We made an appointment and from the day I met him I felt like I was in good hands. I am a senior and on a fixed income and need my car for volunteer work. So I really didn't have the money to get a loaner. I feel that Anthony understood my situation and was able to give me a loaner. And I'm sure he did the best he could to keep my bill down. He's a warm and caring person. And I really feel that the reason I felt so good by the time I left there was because of him. I hope I don't have to pay dealership prices again but if I do I will definitely go back and deal with Anthony. And you can be assured I'd never met Anthony until my car went to Napa Toyota. All right

I just bought a 2017 Toyota RAV4 from this dealership. I had a great experience and couldn't be happier with the car! I worked with Kyle over the course of a week to figure out exactly what I wanted and when it came down to buying the car he gave me a great price. I bought my Toyota Rav4 2 years ago from Jimmy Vasser, at the time I had no idea what to expect buying from a dealership. They spent hours finding me the best deal and loan option, even with no credit, and I have never loved a car more. Adding the warranty saves me so much time and energy now, I can take it in when needed and any of the wonderful service reps help me with so little fuss. My car is part of my life, and I'm glad to know it's so well taken care of.

The staff like Mike and Mariano and the finance manager (forgot his name) were really nice and explained in detail to where my son was able to understand the APR to total amount and that number money stuff. At the end it turned out really good . My son got his truck and was very happy about it. ONLY SUGGESTION I HAVE IS THAT IT WOULD BE NICE IF THEY BROUGHT BACK THE TOYOTA JUMP!!! The dealership was clean inside and out! With everything going on with the Virus going around I wanted to limit my time out and about so I went to their website. I knew the truck I wanted and was contacted by Kyle not long after I sent my info over and he was super helpful. We bought a used car from their lot last week. The sales experience was excellent - we appreciated our friendly salesman and the speedy no-nonsense negotiation. However, the next day after we brought the car home, it wouldn’t start! AAA tested the battery and it was defective. While this was a frustrating thing to experience, they worked quickly to rectify the issue. In my book, good customer service like this should be rewarded. We're enjoying our car and recommend Jimmy Vasser for their low-pressure sales department and good customer service.

Terrible experience. Mr. Park their sales manager is a typical slimy car salesman. Promised me 38490 out the door for a Tacoma in writing before I decided to go and when I get there to figure out financing they tried adding all the taxes and fees. Then told me they were doing me a favor by saving me money on the interest rates. That nightmare stereotype you expect at a car dealership was in full display at this business. UPDATE: Mr. Park called me after I wrote this review and gave me a sarcastic thank you. Very professional?

I've been going to this dealership for years now. They are very helpful and the staff have great attitudes. Usually they are very quick with maintenance appointments but sometimes when it's busy it can take a while. They offer snacks, soda, and water. The dealership also has plenty of seats that are pretty comfortable. I've purchased two cars from this dealership. I recommend coming here to take a look if you plan on buying a car or getting maintenance done.

I had a great time down at Jimmy Vasser Toyota! I was browsing online and decided to come down and check out my new Rav4. As soon as i got there I was greeted by Kyle and he helped me find the exact car I was looking for. Then he took me on a nice test drive through the vineyards and let me get a feel for the car. This was my second visit. The garage service was great each time. The reason I am emailing is because the operator didn't answer my call to the manager. I asked for help using the GPS after the garage service. The cashier finally found a salesman. He programmed it for HOME. He was about halfway through showing me how to use it for other addresses when he abruptly left saying something do with "salesman." I waited at least 10 minutes and then spoke to a man in Service. I explained what happened. In response he said-I am here and the salesmen are over there pointing to the showroom. I knew he could have called someone. I decided I was being blown off so I said I was leaving. Nothing else was said.

Just bought my third 4Runner from Jimmy Vasser Toyota. We arrived almost 15 minutes before opening on a Sunday morning and was met with a friendly greeting by Will Cress who welcomed us in. While the entire staff at Jimmy Vasser is always helpful, I really appreciate their low pressure, professional approach and was really happy to drive away with a fair deal. Definitely worth a drive from anywhere in the Bay Area.

A series of unfortunate events caused me to need a new car. Searched all over Northern and Southern Cal for the new Hyundai Elantra N, Subaru BRZ and GR86... and they were few and far between. This lead me to Jimmy Vasser Toyota who had one of the best prices on the GR86 Premium Trim, with all the features I wanted. I had the pleasure of working with Kyle O'Neal to purchase this vehicle. He was kind and courteous, giving us waters and soda while we waited. We even got some Costco Chocolate chip cookies, courtesy of Mike Stone. Kyle was very helpful and provided answers to any questions I had. He also had a great sense of humor. My girlfriend says he looks a lot like Leo DiCaprio...lol. This is a review of Service Department paperwork personnel experience. Just an oil change is what I wanted. I asked for price upfront and asked if there was a deal on just an oil change. The rep said he first needed to get info from my car. He got odometer reading and then appeared to take video around my whole car. Then he said he can get my tires rotated and a multi-point inspection. I said I just wanted an oil change. He quoted $70 for just the oil change! He says prices have gone up significantly since my last oil change. This summer an air conditioner quote they gave me was $300 higher than a shop 4 blocks away. Hold onto your wallets. Read reviews. My 16 year old Prius has been amazing, but service department personnel vary in the degree in which they bamboozle you. Perhaps commission is involved.

You know how you go into buy a car and you want to get the best deal ever, well let's be real everybody needs to make money I'm a real person from the real world. With that said because everyone focuses on price I had a great experience. I had a proper trade in and a trade in that I just needed to get rid of so that's a total of 2 trade ins.i worked with Laurence for my sales guy I know I put him in a situation with that second trade in but he took it like a trooper. After much discussion about a Edmund price and a good hearty laugh after I realized my mistake I decided to go to napa even though Toyota Vallejo was closer and I had bought my trade in from there new and had a good experience there. After getting my ducks in a row I worked with jill from finance. I knew there were the typical upsells in there but the electricity was out at the Toyota dealership so we went to the Chevy dealership owned by the same franchise. So after the negotiation I decided to go with an extended warranty addition. I won't mention the extras put in as everyone needs the bread and butter but you can YouTube or reddit it to find out like I did. But I hinted I knew what was up and everything went a little smoother. But other than that great experience especially considering we did the deal at another location. It was great seeing coworkers genuinely getting along.

Anthony couldn’t have been any nicer, and made it incredibly easy to establish trust quickly. I got a very reasonable estimate up front, and they did all of the work requested and then some, all within that estimate. My husband and I had been looking for a Tacoma TRD Off-Road for a number of months and could not find the vehicle with the desired premium Technology Package. I had send the specs to every dealership in Northern California and was bombarded with emails from sales representatives for trucks that were not the correct year, trim or options package. I insisted that they were wasting time by sending vehicles that didn’t meet the specs I had provided. Anthony Rangel at Jimmy Vasser was the only rep that took the time to find the exact vehicle we were looking for. He called and said he had one coming in within the month and asked if we wanted to place a deposit on the vehicle. We agreed on a price and we placed the deposit. Anthony kept us up-to-date every week letting us know where in the supply chain pipeline the truck was at and when it was expected to arrive. The day it arrived we received a picture of the truck being unloaded. Very Exciting! When we arrived at the dealership the truck had been inspected, cleaned and prepped. The sales and finance process was fast and easy, no high pressured up-selling, in and out in 60 minutes. It was a great hassle-free process. We also got the absolutely best deal around for that vehicle which is very difficult to find and every other dealer had a $5k-$8k above MSRP mark-up.

I searched all over the North Bay for a used Highlander Hybrid and what I found at Jimmy Vasser was unmatched quality and service. WOW, these people are the real deal (especially Anthony and Lucas). Was so excited to buy the Ford F-250 Lariat today and couldn’t even get a salesman to acknowledge me. Stood there for 15 minutes before I had to ask a guy at his desk for help. He was glued to his phone and waited another 10 minutes before walking out. Guess I’ll wait for another Lariat to come in to the Ford dealership. Have bought 2 brand new vehicles from Jimmy Vasser but will not recommend them to anyone.

I had the best car buying experience at Vasser. I worked with Kyle and Jim. They were both friendly, professional, knowledgeable and experienced. I have been to many dealerships in pursuit of my new car and have had awful experiences. Jim worked his 30 years of financial experience and got me the interest rate and monthly payments I needed in a snap of a finger. The other dealers eithereither me down or asked for high monthly payments. Kyle was really nice and knowledgeable. He had answers to all my questions. Let's start with Lucas... after being given the old bait and switch at a few Toyota dealerships (Marin and Gilroy), I was carless, stuck at Marin Toyota (poor me, I know crybaby lol). I reached out to Jimmy Vasser Toyota because they had the TRD I was looking for. I asked Lucas 100xs if he was sure the truck was there, because I was about to Uber over an hour to his location. He patiently assured me he was looking right at it... 100xs lol. He sounded sincere, so I hopped in that Uber. On my way, Kyle the sales dude called, letting me know there were 3 TRDs on lot and wanted to make sure I was aware of the pricing (much appreciated). Lucas and Kyle were completely upfront about EVERYTHING, from the time I called to the time I left the lot. Kyle the man...new everything about the truck (I only know, because I also did extensive research before attempting to buy) he was showing me the features and capabilities of the truck and never skipped a beat. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Kyle and this location. So back to the customer service, I went in for a stock trd 4x4 off road and left with a trd 4x4 off road with a 3" lift package . I was amazed and relieved because we all know there is nothing worse than hours wasted, running numbers . In Elliotts office, I was expecting the sales side of him to show up and try and sell me extended warranty's, maintenance packages and gold fish... BUT, he did not! He 100% showed me what I could get if I wanted but never tried to push the sale (Not a bad thing Lucas ). Sometimes people just want the car and he read that about me (great job). Took my nearly two-year-old Yaris (which I purchased here, as well) for its last warranty service. Anthony Beaver, the service specialist who checked me in was terrific. I've dealt with him two times now, and he is always a pleasure. I was one of the first appointed times and chose to wait for my car. It was done in roughly an hour, which I think is great. The waiting service area is clean and appropriately furnished for distancing in this time of Covid-19. Masks all around. The ladies who checked me out at the end of my service were lovely and helpful.
