Nice friendly place to enjoy/ entertain urself. Only rarely do u see a waitress n if u do u may get one drink (watered down usually) but not likely to get another..especially if u don't tip!! Staff is always so friendly n knowledgeable n this great. And I absolutely love the valley parking when they r using it. So ultimately I love this place!!

Payouts could be more often 😉, but always a clean, well run establishment with courteous employees that are always available and close by. Only complaint I have is that throughout all of my visits, I have never been asked my drink order. I don't expect it to be often, however, I haven't actually seen anyone receive a drink from a waitress on the floor while I'm there.

Always a fun time wether I win or loose. We usually win and always see many many people hitting jackpots on every visit. Very clean establishment and nice people working.

We love playing here. Today we decided to try the buffet that we have heard such great things about. Well, we must have chosen the wrong one. It has to be the evening buffet that is so great. Lunchtime the best thing going is the dessert bar. Aside from that, it’s a less than average Ryan’s buffet style meal. Mediocre at best. Half the dishes offered were colder than leftovers. However, our waitress was kind enough to reheat a plate and fuss at the line crew for the food being cold. Overall, we give the entire casino a 4. We’ll try again later and see if we can improve based on the evening buffet options. 😉

Majority of the machines are new. I personally enjoy the older machines like wheel of fortune.

Hey look, I played slots all night and actually walked out a winner 🏆. They must have turned the slots up to 95 percent, because everything I touched paid off. It's a non-smoking casino as well, they get 💯 just for that.

Best casino around. Friendly place and a great atmosphere

This is the only casino I gamble at. And I'm just tired of losing every single time. The machines are way too tight now. If I'm going to lose at least let me enjoy losing. But it don't give anything to play with. Just take the whole time. Machines tight. Barely turn red or don't give not one red spin. On average I'm there less than 30 mins with $200. That's awful. I'm about to stop going there and go back to Paragon.

Only complaint is that I didn't win lol. Had a terrific time 😁

First time there. The buffet was excellent but the ability to eat with your children is not there. Everyone must be 21 and older. The selection of machines Try to stay current but end up confusing. Basically every machine from .01 - 5.00 is going to cost you almost 1.00 per pull. There are no .05, .10, .25 machines with only 1-2 credits. It goes much higher. 4.00 to use the ATM ... Another downfall. The food is excellent, the service is excellent, but is that enough for a casino to thrive? I'm not sure.

I go for the Bloody Mary's! I've won more than I've spent. I dont play much since I've only been in one casino in my life. This one! I put in $10 in the penny slots and won over $300. I love this little casino! It’s excellent for what and where it is. I almost always leave with more money than I had when I walked in the door. Restaurant, buffet and restrooms are always very clean. Staff is always friendly and helpful. The only thing that I have a problem with is the heavy cigarette smoke. Wouldn’t it be amazing if they were able to filter the smoke out! My eyes are so red they look like they’re bleeding when I leave sometimes and sometimes the smoke gives me a headache (it’s worse when it’s raining outside). Even with the complaints I have I still think it’s a fabulous place to spend a couple of hours on the way home from visiting my granddaughter. ❌⭕️❣️

The shrimp was very badly over cooked that they just fail part( into very small pieces) so you couldn't even pill ...they just turned to mush.....fish was like rubber ...the sweet tea was very weak....it even looked like colored water .the desert was not in the proper places....picked up a very small container in the bread pudding label and it was a berry short cake......they need a manager that checks on the progress of each item and department or dish.....especially when there are dealing with the public...

Zero ventilation, if you’re a non smoker you will leave smelling like a dirty ashtray. Zero tables or amenities for guests...very limited drink service on gaming floor. Buffet is decent if you want to wait an hour & a half to two hours EVERY time. Security personnel have zero experience & a chip on their shoulder.

The buffet had burnt and I seriously mean burnt brisket, ribs were burnt and over seasoned to cover up the burnt taste. Not much selection of BBQ considering it was BBQ night. On the casino floor we were playing $1 slots, no drinks or waitress was seen. Spent an hour playing on the same machine and no service. Very disappointed in a very special Birthday night for my Brother. The only positive experience we had was an excellent waitress during our meal, she even sang happy Birthday to my Brother 🎂😍

Machines do not payout. They allow one individual to play multiple machines, also allow players to hold machines for individuals that are gone more than 30 minutes? So the machine will sit unoccupied because the player decided not to return. Do not attempt to play on a giveaway day! Or any other day for that matter. My last visit was today. I really enjoyed visiting in the beginning. But when you notice the machine has changed its spin speed, time to stay home. Also, noticed you can win more without your players card. They do track and moderate your win... I realized that fact to late.. Best of luck..

I have to say this is one of my favorite casinos. I've been to a lot of casinos in Louisiana and this is by far one of the best. The people are always nice and friendly the food in the bar is always fantastic. And the fact that the food is so cheap in the bar yet doesn't sacrifice quality I feel it's a great deal for the money. I've also been to the buffet at this casino many times although the price is kind of high you really can't beat it for the service and the great food. The overall feeling aesthetic of the casino is that of a laid-back kind of off the strip in Vegas type of Casino. The one complaint I have about this place is I really wish they would give the people in the bar a little more help. The people in the bar always swamped and I feel like the bar makes enough money to hire at least a couple more employees.

Never win! Its like the machines are rigged to not hit a bonus or have good winnings. I only go to play my Freeway but I do spend money in there.

I love this place. The staff is always very friendly and no matter what kind of bad mood im in, I can come here and be greeted with a huge GENUINE smile or gesture. The only thing that I sont like is whenever I'm playing a slot machine, the housekeepers always seem to be cleaning or vacuuming right there ALL around me...and I tend to feel crowded, and annoyed, unable to concentrate on winning.

Loved it, my first time there and in the same town I grew up in before I moved to Texas, I left with a bit more then what I played. It's not too big but it's just big enough and everyone was so very nice.

First we ate at the seafood buffet. It was definitely worth the money. We did have to wait to get a seat tho. The selection wasn't that great but it was some sort of good. The casino part was ok. They didnt have any blackjack tables which was disappointing. The slots were fun tho.

Went there mainly for Buffet and to put a little money in slot machines. The smoking allowed in the building is almost intolerable. The smell of cigarette smoke on your clothing once u get home is ridiculous. I almost forgot t wanna go back just because of the smoke. There should be more investment in keeping this building better ventilated.

Not pleased at all when you finally get in the bonus and playing a sizable amount of money and don't get to much of anything. Also have played the same machine over an hour and never got in the bonus. There have been times where $0 money from the free spins.

Worst casino I've ever been to enforcing mask. There is absolutely no one even attempting to enforce mask wearing. Even some of the workers are improperly wearing masks. Apparently masks are optional. That is real irresponsible of the casino and against laws.

It's a decent casino for the area, it's rather small but they do have a lot of slots and video machines. The buffet is pretty good on the weekends. They had steak, boiled shrimp, and crab legs that were very good. If you're looking for something in close proximity to Pineville or the Grant Parish areas, this is probably the best seafood buffet you will find. If the buffet price was less expensive I would give it 4 stars, but having to stand and wait surrounded by so many people during flu season made and the cost of the buffet led me to rate it three stars.

Visited family and friends & we ended up here for dinner. Loved the workers at the door who greeted us and held the door open for us. The atmosphere was amazing and people friendly. The servers greeted us with a smile, buffet (food) was delicious..

While visiting Alexandria La Feb 2022, my friends and I eat at the delicious buffet for dinner. Enjoyed the food and courteous staff. Lots of variety offered such as seafood, steak made to order, Italian cuisine, Japanese cuisine, Soups and Salad bar, Vegetables and fresh bread. I was really impressed. Must Try when in Alexandria. Its a smaller casino so its good for what it is. The food is good. The Crabs were better Pre-Covid but for the most part everything is good.

Slots pay well and friendly service. Non smoking, but there is a smoking room available for when there is bad weather. I particularly like the Lucky Duck slot machines

My husband and I go to the casino at least once a week not to play but to eat. We usually eat at the bar. The food is really good. We do play a little but don't gamble very much money. Sometimes we win a little sometimes not. It's just fun to go.

Bus and truck parking. Small but you can get in there. Did a 10 hour break there. Good food and drinks are cheap. Won a jackpot first time there. The games are odd ones , you will see when you get there.

I just drove almost 8 hrs & was very excited to be there. As I was getting my things together & sprucing up(hadn't been but 2min.) security pulls up and says are you going in? After replying yes,( not yet ready), I sat back in car to get my hair & stuff presentable. The lady went to rows back and sat,very uncomfortable feeling! Yet I still went inside ,got to counter to get my players card & the lady there was very unfriendly also!!! I realize people have bad days,but folks if you are working in a place dealing with the public then you need to learn to be a little more courteous!!! I walked out & didn't even get the free money they sent me! I go to these places to enjoy people & being around them,but I am sorry they fell way short on common courteous.

I used to like this place. I've hit a couple of jackpots there and lost some, also. Then, tonight, 1-26-22, I parked my truck for my 10 hour layover and went in to eat and gamble a little. I pulled a thousand out of their ATM and played some games, going up and down. I finally hit a small jackpot for $1600 but was already down almost a thousand. When they came to pay out they saw my picture CDL had expired but it had been renewed and I showed them my temporary ID valid till 3-25-22 that made my picture ID still perfectly good till I received my permanent CDL that is good till 2030. They said they had to keep my money in "safe keeping" till I got my permanent in the mail. They say I have to come all the way from Dallas, where I live, and bring my permanent ID to get my money. These people are crazy! First and foremost, my picture ID is PERFECTLY GOOD and I had proof. I even called the police to come verify it for them; WHICH THEY DID! They still refused to give me my money making me have to come back 500 miles to get money that is not there's. I will definitely be trying to pursue this matter because I had and still have in my possession a perfectly valid picture ID Class A CDL. Beware of these crooks.

I love going to Jenna Choctaw. The only thing I don't like is the Asian waitress guy every time I'm there I ask him for a beverage to drink and he tells me he doesn't work in that side or he's going on his break one of the other waitresses did it that night. The Asian male waitress and another female waitress we're standing around a lady that had just hit a jackpot asking her does she need anything to drink and she said no she was about to leave soon as they bring her her money so I called both of them over to me asking for a beverage to drink and they both looked at each other and said we're going on break that was very unprofessional.

If you play with the card you'll win every 6 months are so. My opinion this place monitors you from the atm to the machine. They give you just enough to take it away. I've played thousands of dollars & never won 100, then watch people win thousands with a 20. I've played 3-4 hundred&never went to a bonus. My opinion is the games are fixed against the player by the monitor's,whom seem to be AI geniuses,don't play with the members card&you stand a chance.

This casino was small, quaint and not too noisy. The best part was there was no cigarette smoke so breathing was easier with our masks on. Employees were walking around sanitizing nicely. The gift of $15 when you signed up to play was very enjoyable. Even though we walked away with the clothes on our backs and all of us will continue to return to work on Monday cos we didn’t hit it “big”, it was great entertainment. We will return soon. Payouts seemed to be frequent too!

As far as casinos go, this is as mediocre as they come... It's a small, entirely-slots casino with a few dining options, and very rarely, promotional nights that provide some small perks... none of those things make up for the fact that the players' club is rarely concerned with its patrons, security is friendly but the policies they enforce are sometimes a little bit much for such a small gambling establishment, and the slot machines seem to never pay out. I'd rather make the drive to any of the variety of other casinos in a 100mi radius.

Jena Choctaw gives People Pleasure but, Please Extend your Hand to the People whom need that Extra Hand that Shows Caring for those Who Come and it also serves as Good Business to the Casino. Word Of Mouth is Good Free Advertising too. What is Need is Security to Watch the people in Parking Lot for their Safety be Mindful of the Surrounding ,see what goes on in the Parking Lot, ls Something Out Of Pace.

Love this place the staff.is very polite when entering the building always smiling and calling you by your name the food is awesome, bathroom are always clean and refreshing along with the machines being clean when someone gets open The outside is so neat and very neat.

They've done something different to the machines ands its been this way for 3 months now- needs to change turn around I'd say. And the $5 Jena cash bonus isn't worth even giving-its like a slap in the face to your loyal attendees- just take it off if aren't going to give at least $15 and just do in house promotions-really a slap. Other than this atmosphere was nice- games so so.. think will be a while b4 I go back- time to go else where for a while.

New casino near Pineville, LA. I did not see any kind of food except stations at the edge of the casino floor that appeared to have snacks. No smoking, masks optional. Most people were wearing a mask.

We spent several hundred dollars in this casino after waiting fifteen minutes outside in the 40 degree temps. We started to go outside and leave. We got between the double doors and decided to go back in. To spend a little more money and enjoy our time. The gentleman at the door told us we had to go back outside and wait through the line again. The line has tripled since we first got here. I have never been to a casino where you have to wait outside in 40 degree Temps for 45 minutes in order to give them your money. We have had bad experiences here twice. I don’t see us coming back to this poorly established so called business.

Stopped in for lunch and to buy gift certificates as Christmas gifts. Much to our surprise, the quality of food has dropped drastically and was expensive. Over $30 for two for fried chicken and mac and cheese. Needless to say, we did not purchase any gift certificates. Casino did smell fresh and clean and bathrooms were also clean.

Kind of small but not too small. I love this place. In fact I often donate about a grand a month there. The bar, Cutters, is nice and the bar food is good. Usually live entertainment. The buffet is ok at best but not too shabby. Ever so often I leave a little richer than when I came in.

Even during the covid the experience was exciting and safe the staff was working to make sure that their guests were able to enjoy without worrying about getting contaminates from a machine, the food was very good and at a extremely reasonable price

Always a great experience. Yes, there are bigger flashier casinos in the state but this one just feels better and they have a great buffet which all other casinos lack these days. They use a bingo system to determine wins on the slots and while I use to believe it left you at a disadvantage, I now after going to multiple casinos see that the odds actually pay in your favor more than other casinos. Give it a shot and you won't regret it. Oh and I only subtracted a star because the staff can be a bit absent at times unless you are a big spender.

Two hour wait to get into the buffet, willing to wait for the great food. However once we had our table the line to the food was about 15 minutes to a half an hour each plate. Not worth that much wait. By the time we got back to the table half the food was cold. Really need to reavaluate the way you serve the buffet so that paying customers get quality food and service. Staff also looked overwhelmed, tired and their conversation was exhausted.

3 stars because it is fun, but it's to small. Needs to be expanded, and they need to keep a better eye on the customers. Too many times I have experienced folks who were to drunk to function, and cursing at the floor and wandering around aimlessly begging for money and trying to start fights.

This casino is just OK. Plenty of people...plenty of machines, but no thrills. Though I hear of people winning, I never see or hear people screaming in excitement over winnings or hitting jackpots, and waitstaff is scarce. Additionally, there's NO GAMEROOM for children/teens. I'm always very happy when I come to play I never ever win much I have gotten used to that but Constantly come back two or3 time a week my friend Connie McDade she try so very hard for a major she plays nothing but china gold I feel so sorry for her her husband is in the VA nursing home for over a year and she spends so much time with him every day plus she sit with a elderly lady but I could talk for ever you people are great and a lot of relaxing for the mind thank y'all

I have fun there. I wouldn't bet my mortgage there but always have a great time with 20 to 40 bucks. If you like to gamble just for the sake of it then go have fun but dont expect to walk out a winner everytime.

Terrible ventilation! Smoke is overwhelming. Slots machines are too tight. Reels erratic. Bonuses very limited. Once you win anything of significance move on to the next machine. It seldom happens more than once. Have not hit a jackpot since it opened. Amount of perks continues to decrease. The food is very good and the service in the buffet is great! I continue to go in hopes that it will improve.

Buffet isn't worth it unless you're into eating either over or under cooked food. We've been coming to this place for 3 years now, have spent literally thousands of dollars in here and the biggest I've ever hit was a measly $400. Now, they're cutting people's perks by more than half of what they usually give monthly. It used to be a good place, but it's went downhill over the past year. I hate to say it, but I won't be coming back.
