    I listed my beachhouse in Dewey Beach with Jack Lingo. Eventually bedbugs were brought in by his renters and he wanted me to pay the costly high heat treatment. Which I did not. How could weekly maids not notice live bedbugs and their telltale black markings?? It was horrible. Then they had the nerve to say I owed a couple hundred in the end. Joanne Bacher was quite nice throughout it. Colonel Lingo wanted me to pay for his renters bedbugs and my future having to discard mattresses and boxsprings .

    Called about a rental unit that had water running above my unit all day long. Thought renters moved out but they came back at the very same time the maintenance guy came. He said he messaged me but did not and rudely walked away , apparently annoyed that He had to come. The rudeness is totally unprofessional. Try using another agency before you deal with this one.

    We rented a house at Rehoboth Beach for a week this summer through Jack Lingo, and were delighted with their efficiency. Our agent, Amanda, helped us find the perfect property, and she was very responsive and helpful with any questions we had prior to, and during our stay.     Stayed at 61 Columbia with my children and grandchildren. It was a great location, and the home served us well. Worked with Alyssa at Jack Lingo. All communication was answered promptly, and I had other questions before we made the the trip (considering Covid, wanted to make sure of what would be open), which she answered quickly as well. I started to work with another company, Coldwell Banker, but they tried to add extra charges to the rental agreement, and then told me they would be adjusted AFTER I made my payment. I felt this was fraudulent. Contacted Alyssa at Jack LIngo, and all the paperwork was done exactly right. Great experience.

    He have used Lingo for rentals in Rehoboth for many years, the last was 5 years ago, and again this summer. They have really stepped up their game. The online reservation was easy, communication and responsiveness to questions and issues prior to and during the rental were very rapid and helpful. They have some minor tech glitches to work out, but the agents easily over-rode these for us. The house was in great condition (105 Park Ave), with excellent a/c, kitchen and cooking utensils, furnishings, eating space for the entire family and none of the issues we had in previous years at other houses. They were very clear about potential drawbacks - distance from the beach, narrow staircase - so we had no unpleasant surprises on arriving. We took the linen package and this was very helpful, the linens and towels were good quality, better than expected and well worth the price for us. Nothing was cheap, but a great beach town in a peak week is not going to be discounted.

    We just returned from a week long vacation in Rehoboth in a beautiful house that we booked through Jack Lingo. The house we stayed in was in a great location, comfortable and most importantly these days, spotless. Kudos to their cleaning team. Check in/check out was easy as all you have to do is drop keys in drop box and be on your way. My parents always booked through Jack Lingo as do we and we have always been very pleased. I highly recommend them.

    I have been renting out my house with Jack Lingo for the past 15 years. They have excellent customer service. They have taken care and look out for my house. There have been several hurricanes over the years. Each time this occurs, the rental agents jump into action and go over to my house and put away all outside furniture and other items. Very minimal fee. Each year they provide a step by step instruction sheet on getting my house ready for the season. Anything that I need them to do, they do it! If you want an exceptional company to manage your vacation rental, list it with Lingo!

    The entire realty team has been proactive, professional, responsive in a timely manner! and excels in communication. Many owners think they will do better if they handle their own rentals. I did it for more than 10 years before turning it over to Jack Lingo and would never consider doing it myself again. One thing I never thought about was the liability if a guest is injured on the property (and I have been in management positions and a business owner for many years). Jack Lingo is responsible for their tenants and has leases signed that address a number of issues we hadn't anticipated. I highly recommend their expert team.

    I rent from them every year, off season, and my experience is nothing but excellent. Dave Lambert and Carol Lynch have been nothing short of excellent, and have been good negotiators between owners and renters (especially for things like late checkouts). I was nervous coming back in April, especially right on the heels of the pandemic but the experience was easy, client-centered, and the retrieval of keys was done in a way that was safe. I cannot recommend them higher.

    Avoid Lingo Reality. We were unable to travel to Rehoboth Beach because of COVID-19 (the virus that changed the world) and they couldn’t care a less, wouldn’t give us a refund or offer us the opportunity to reschedule at a later date. In which we would have been fine with. I feel sorry for the businesses in that town that now lose money because of Jack Lingo reality. All they kept saying is “the beaches are open” with no compassion to our situation. The fact that the beaches were open doesn’t change our situation Jack. Over 40 years of visiting Rehoboth Beach and rented from Lingo numerous times this is how we were treated. Update: their response below is that they don’t see a reservation under our name, really? clever response to make people think this isn’t real, It was the week of July 11-18... find it, and I’ve already called your office, you refused to help us and my wife was hung up on when she called, you want to make good? you call me and act like you care Update#2: 4 months later and I still haven’t received a simple phone call from the Lingo family to show that they even care about their customer. They can say all they want about their policies but they have the ability to over ride any policy they create if they actually cared but they don’t. Taking our money during a world wide pandemic while expecting us to put ourselves in danger and not offering a refund to us is thievery. Don’t give these people your money, DO NOT RENT FROM JACK LINGO REALITY

    The property I rented was great but the entire check in process at Jack Lingo is EXTREMELY outdated. We had to go to the physical office (10 min in wrong direction with beach traffic) and stand in a line of about 25 people (two lines with the alphabet split) and wait until 3pm on the dot to get the keys. Mind you we had driven by the property hours before and there was a sign hanging on the door knob saying "your rental property has been cleaned" so the property was ready early yet they wouldn't let us check in a second before 3pm. We drove 4 hours from North Jersey with a 1 year old, a 3 year old and a dog. I rent all over and can always get in early if the property has been cleaned. They were not even friendly when we asked if we could get in early. They just said over and over "we don't do that". They need to update their processes with lock boxes for the keys and allow renters in a little early if the property has been cleaned!

    Hi, Lindsay, our company discloses the check-in time on all correspondence, including on the final check-in reminder sent two days before our guests' arrival. Per this correspondence, "Check-in time is 3 PM and keys cannot be issued before 3 PM as we need every moment to prepare for your arrival." Additionally, "Each property will be professionally cleaned before your stay. We are unable to release any keys, permits, pool cards, etc. until 3PM." We prioritize the cleanliness of our rental properties and therefore need every moment to ready your property for your arrival. This includes inspections and any maintenance items that may need attention after your rental property is cleaned. Please contact our office with any further concerns.     Great experience working with Jack Lingo. Everyone we dealt with at the Rehoboth office was so accommodating. Rental process was easy and transparent, check in and check out was super speedy and efficient. The house exceeded our expectations and was very clean, and rented linens were waiting for us when we arrived. One small maintenance issue (HVAC unit had a small leak) was addressed quickly and efficiently by a friendly technician, with no interruption to our awesome vacation. We’ll use Jack Lingo again for sure - thanks!!

    Booked a rental on Maryland Ave for a week in August. This was our first time renting with your company and we can say it was a great experience! Your check in / check out procedure is so fast and efficient! Your cleaning crew had the home in great condition when we moved in. The linen service that we also purchased was great! There was only one small issue with a wobbling toilet seat, and as soon as we called, your facilities person showed right up and took care of it. Thank you again for a great week in Rehoboth. We will be using your services next year and for future rentals!

    The people that work there are really nice, but their entire process is completely outdated. We rent houses all over the country, including beach houses in NC and FL, and this is the ONLY company, in the last 3 years where we have had to go and pick up a physical key (10 minutes the wrong direction from our rental house) and then drive to return it again at the end of the rental. Also, there is no way to pay online - I had to mail a physical check (first I had to find a physical check!). We've worked with Jack Lingo for years, and I generally like them (and their rental houses are good), but they need to catch up with the 21st century, so that's why i gave them 3 stars instead of more.

    Stayed at 120 Norfolk St. in Rehoboth Beach for a week. Decent place. Great neighborhood. Would have been nice if someone disclosed that there is a tenant living on the property in their own small house at the back of the property. Quite surprised to learn of that when we walked out the back door and saw him sitting outside his place. Edited to comment on Jack Lingo's response. We were aware of the cottage as indicated in the lease. What was not disclosed is that someone was living in the cottage.

    My husband and I had not been on vacation for a very long time. We finally decided that 2021 was the year. Only thing was, I wanted to bring my 2 small dogs with so I needed to rent a house with a fully fenced in yard. I had started looking around different do it yourself sites when I realized I needed help. I reached out to Jack Lingo, started working with Amanda and within the hour she had emailed me a list of houses WITH fully fenced in yards at the beach I wanted that were available for that season...mind you I emailed her in April. Within the week we committed to a property and had the contract signed by the end of the week. I recieved updated emails to remind me of my trip...like I was going to forget lol, things to bring, things to remember, where to go to pick up keys and everything I possibly could have needed. The day came, we picked up our keys headed over to our rental...and had a BLISSFUL week. The house was perfect! Amanda made it so easy. Cannot wait to get an email in the Fall to book our vacation for 2022. Hands down best decision calling Amanda. I did not have to worry about a thing.

    We rented for the first time in Rehoboth Beach, thru Jack Lingo. Our house suited our family needs, which was chosen on pictures for the Jack Lingo website. The team was responsive when we had an issue immediately and this was resolved. We had a pool as well as a side yard for our grandchildren. I high recommend Jack Lingo Realtor for rental needs. PS we have already signed up for 2021.

    The Lingo Rental team is truly wonderful. They have been my rental team for over 10 years. Lingo is always there to assist with whatever I need, whether it’s a plumbing check up or a seasonal carpet cleaning. Lingo understands the DE market and owners’ needs.
