I googled classic car financing and I chose JJ Best Banc. I was pleased from the beginning. They were prompt and quick to give you an answer. I purchased an antique Mercedes and wanted to pick it up quickly. Taylor was awesome! He pushed everything very fast so that I could pick up my dream car within in the next day. Painless, quick process for securing a loan. My loan officer Joe Forte was a pleasure to deal with. Responded quickly to questions and concerns. I had always purchased classic cars with cash to avoid the hassle and delays I thought would result from seeking a loan, but this experience demonstrates that it makes sense to use JJ Best for future purchases.

I couldn’t be more disappointed. I’ve never had anybody talk to me so unprofessionally trying to do business. I’m not going to post the loan officers name because this isn’t a “vendetta” - it’s not personal, it’s business. Through my misunderstanding, I lost my deal. The loan process was easy, I was approved quickly with a good rate. Nobody called to follow up. It’s easier to send emails with attachments. When I called due to a misunderstanding on my part, the loan officer was rude and has no willingness to communicate at all. Then proceeded emails to which his responses were ugly and rude. This was something I wanted badly, but I’m not going to do business with somebody that tells me he was backlogged and he wasn’t making anything on my deal. That was just part of it. I’m so disappointed because this company does have a good reputation. They have been around a long time and when I used to sell classic vehicles - I always recommended them. Now that I’ve been a customer? I can’t do that in good faith. I want to be fair, I want to be professional. This was simply a communication issue. If effort would have been made to go over things and touch base with me - this would not have happened. Twelve hours everything went to hell today with them - I’m still at a total loss as of why, and am profoundly offended.

In January 2022, I was approved for my second classic car loan through Best. The first loan was paid in full early with no prepayment penalty. My second loan was processed quickly and efficiently by Taylor Allen, a true professional. Another professional at Best proved to be Kelly Heede. Kelly advised me that my insurance for my classic car would be much less by insuring with Hagerty. Hagerty specializes in insuring classic cars. By again utilizing Best for my car loan, I remain a very satisfied customer.

Sean, Neil and Kelly were the absolute best to work with. Always friendly, professional and quick to respond. They made it very easy for me to buy my dream car. I would recommend them to anyone looking for help buying a classic car.

First time financing a classic car and I'm more than happy I went through JJ Best. I was not approved at first, but Brandon Dwane helped me to make it happen. I was given a very reasonable rate for someone that has never had a car loan over 20k. Brandon was always quick to respond through email and always available to answer my many phone calls and questions. Thank you JJ Best for helping me to achieve a dream.

The initial loan process was seamless and the funding went through without any issues. Then JJ Best turned the loan over to M&T Bank for servicing. I was given zero information about my account with M&T and after three emails and phone calls to JJ Best trying to get my account information, my payment was past due. M&T would not help me without an account number which I never received. I had to go back to the dealer to get the account information I needed. Graham Berry, with JJ Best, followed up with a threatening phone to ‘stop bothering his people’.

We ended up using lightstream over this company. J.J. BEST BANC approved us. But we were told we would have to put down 20% of the loan. Which made absolutely no sense. When paying that 20% not going towards the loan. That makes no sense. So where is that money going to? Interest? How? When the interest was already added into the loan. Plus our credit wasn't bad at all. We went right to Light stream and walked away with whatever we wanted. They were willing to give us $$$$ as much as possible. We didn't need or want alot. Just enough to carry my baby home 64 impala. And we got it!!! So it's LIGHTSTREAM for the win. And I've already referred several of my friends looking for old school classic loans.

Would go less than 1 star if possible. I don't usually write bad reviews; but these guys deserve it. A couple of years ago I applied for a boat loan. They just sent an email back saying that I was denied. My credit score was ok (700 plus). Fast forward 2 years, I have a very good credit score (750), just re financed my house 2.5% rate. John called me back and asked me to send over a link to a boat that I was interested in. I sent it to him. He explained that I had to have a main stream boat and custom boats won't go thru. This was after he ran a soft credit score. I sent him a boat that was mainstream and he said he would get back to me on Monday passed. I sent him an email requesting the status. No reply. I called and asked to speak to a manager, left a message. No reply. I emailed customer service. No reply. So with two credit checks I have had absolutely no service or answers. I can handle bad or no service. But running your credit and not getting any answers is totally unacceptable.

Five years ago on a loan I gave them 5 stars now fast forward to 2021 I give them zero stars. I’ve been waiting on approval for several days. I sent several emails to my loan processor and not one email was answered and phone calls are not returned. They have lost my business for good. Do yourself a favor and save yourself a headache and look elsewhere.

This is my 4th loan thru JJ Best. I have always used Sean, (and Hillary) and have never had a bad experience. Apparently I dream a lot because this is the 4th car of my dreams! Anyway, thanks Sean and Hillary!

Overall I had a good experience with JJ Best. The application process was easy, I applied at night and had my approval before lunch. My loan officer Brandon was responsive and everything went smoothly on that end, just a bit more paperwork involving a notary. However, there were a few things that caught me off guard in the process that I wanted to point out. 1. You have to put down 10% of the cost of the car with outside funds, that you have to have proof of before you get your loan. 2. They send you the check, then you send it to the owner, which adds a few days if the car is out of town. 3. Then the seller sends the title to JJ Best, who reviews it then sends it back to you, which in my case took a week, so you are stuck waiting to drive your new car. Overall I'd use them again and would recommend them to others looking for classic car loans.

Great in a pinch. But you will be sold off immediately to another lender.. you are not dealing with a bank, just a loan reseller. Go to your bank... save ridiculous interest rates and unknown sub lenders who will bombard you with selling life insurance etc.

I wish I had called JJ Best Banc first. Ryan Dwane took the time to do a thorough review of my application and when a seemingly problematic issue came up, we were able to resolve it quickly. And it was all because he took the time to give me a call and ask a few additional questions. The other lender I contacted just flat out denied the application. I really appreciate all he did to make the process go smoothly. And I'm super excited to finally have the Mustang I've wanted since I was a kid.

I had a great experience financing a classic car! Joe Forte, the loan officer I spoke with, gave me his personal cell phone number for me to reach out anytime with any questions I had. Once they received the signed loaned docs and insurance, they funded the loan and sent a check out the same day. I really appreciated the hands-on, personal touch and everyone I dealt with at JJ Best was immediately responsive. Shout out to Hillary Boynton as well for walking me through the process to get the loan funded.

Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever seen two and a half months to get a car loan to go through then they get the amount of the check wrong they changed the amount on the check I signed paperwork for the amount they negotiated a different amount without contacting me or updating or following the contract that I signed and when I asked about it they said this is what they decided to offer they shorted me 8000 on the amount on the contract and to this day they don’t return your phone calls my loan officer was Graham Berry and Hillary Boyton and I’m not scared to use there names every time I call or emailed there out of the office and I tried contacting there boss and no one could get hold of one or connect me to one. I’m sorry but a contract is a contract and they did not up hold there end luckily the seller was super nice and worked with me!! Till this day not resolved and the best parts is they messed up the term length and sent the paperwork for me to him and his to me and sold the loan the next day after the seller cashed the check!!! I’ll say it again don’t use these people and I would love for someone to contact me about this I have every email and phone call saved!!! Absolute bait and switch
