Best bank (credit union) ever! I've been a member for years and they never disappoint. Kathy, Kylon, and the whole team are always friendly, helpful, and patient. Their loan rates are the best around and they service the loans for the whole term. Great online features you'd expect from larger banks. They also support the local community. Can't recommend them highly enough!

This branch is the bee’s knees. I went in with a complaint, but Kylon helped me resolve the issue so quickly. He was respectful and courteous and efficient. He made me laugh and turned a tough situation into a positive experience. 5 stars all the way.

Amazing staff. The staff came and visited our program at our Hempstead High School location and held a community engagement event with our staff and students, and even offered a financial literacy workshop for our students in the future. We would happily invite them back.

Closed on a loan today as I’ve done before with Kylon Blackman in Bellmore. As always, he is so professional and does an outstanding job of taking care of me as a member. My experience with Island Federal was outstanding. This is the 3rd credit union that I've used and it was by far the best experience of the three. In addition to having the most favorable consumer loan rates, my loan officer, Mr. Kylon Blackman, was so respectful of my time working with Allstate to get the all the paperwork in order for me as there were some coordination issues with getting the required paperwork from the seller. The icing on the cake was today when Mr. Blackman reached out to me to let me know that he redirected my first loan payment to my loan account as I erroneously made the payment to my savings account. I've corrected future payments, however, Kylon informed me that he would check next month to make sure the payment posted properly. This is a very well run professional institution. I will certainly look to use Island Federal in the future because of their professionalism and their excellent service.
