India Cash & Carry Reviews
O
Had bhel puri and it was really good. The cake slice I got was really bad. The cake was old because it was hard. The paan was also very old. I don't know what they put in it, it seemed my tongue burn. Too much gulkand made it too sweet. The candy bits inside the paan are a big turn off. Would come for grocery but would definitely avoid the paan and cake.
S
Good store for Indian stuff. Got everything you might need. Got a good Indian food place also inside and some sweets as well.
g
This is my favorite store for my favorite vegetables like Orka,Japanese n Chinese Eggplant 🍆, they have fresh Moringa exotic n ethic everything n anything you might think check here the herbs 🌿 r great also oh n the prices wow....
A
This is the one of the biggest indian store in Fremont. This place is all the variety of all indian items from A-Z. It's little amazon for indian. The one bad thing about this store is lack of cleanness. when you maintaining a grocery store you need more cleanness. but this store misses that.
S
I have done Togo also and had food there also the taste is as good as home made food. Everything like paratha roti and all are made on order fresh my fav is aalu paratha and mix chat if u visit this please try mix chaat
S
Its a indian grocery store.Best part of this store is that they have Indian fast food counter there like Samosa and bed pakoda. Must visit in this store.
P
Indian store with all products. Product even which are not available in other indian store. I can say best indian store in fremont.
S
Apart from the good court inside the ICC store, nothing else was great. The Sunnyvale location on the other hand is well managed and better collection of vegetables and groceries!!!
A
Nice store with different brands and sizes of grocery items. Food also nice at the express counter. The store has got renovation, the on-site parlor is closed and the area gives room for sitting and sweets from the Kitchen.
P
A little too filthy and unorganized inside, but probably have a large range of items, so usually crowded. Tried their samosas, and given how picky I am about food, they were really don't ne well. Maybe I got lucky as they were fresh out of the kitchen.
N
Overall a good Indian grocery store. Vegetable section can be improved. Also other Indian grocery stores nearby are more competitive on pricing.
A
It was my first time to this location.. tucked away from the main road, Mowry Avenue, behind Olive Garden restaurant! The store is quite spacious, big and wide enough aisles, all Indian groceries that you need. They also have a restaurant inside 👍 Plenty of parking, friendly customer service and good choice of fresh vegetables, reasonable prices. And so close to 880!
L
Very good grocery store with too many options for fresh vegetables. Many fresh fruits also available. It also has small restaurant inside where u can order food for to go. Very good options as well for eating. Snacks also available like samosa , veg puff, pakoda etc. Cleanliness in the store is lacking, which has to be done very frequently.
B
Went there for grocery shopping today, cashier name priya was so rude she threw my receipt at me.. No Hello, nothing.. worst experience ever.
K
I got some food from restaurant inside and the food was good , but lady at the front was soo rude , I couldn’t figure out what she had that attitude for .
K
This is the first time I visited this place to check and buy some Shikakai powder or shampoo. Unfortunately, i did not find this item. But they are nice and helpful people. I bought some chapathi from here. They tasted fresh and tasty. They sell some good unique food stuff from inside restaurant. I would seriously recommend everyone to try this store. Thanks 😊
G
This store always have lot of fresh veggies. The only problem is the space. But surprisingly they modified the access areas between aisles and really better way for easy shopping during this pandemic. Kudos for the modifications.
S
It's not worth to have the food , better one should cook at home... too much spicy and i felt like they just hot the ready to eat food and send it too ... Not worth for money and not recommended ....
T
The place is renovated recently. They have a kitchen and some place to sit and eat and also pick up. Food is tasty 😋. Always have stock of every Indian grocery. Home delivery is available too. One stop shop for everything.
A
Very good samosas and chaat s in the back have a nice home cooked foods counter and grocery has best stock and supplies of produce and selection I have seen in Fremont. Plus items are price stickers and fair. Tasty !!
S
Well stocked grocery store & well organized.
S
Expired products. They never revise their inventory. First of all try to avoid shopping over there. If you shop please do check for expiry date. If any product has no expiry date then please avoid buying that item. We bought dhokla once and it had fungus next day. We immediately went to the store to report it but in return they refused it as not bad and not accepting it. Second time we bought Dass gulab jamun (which is supposed to have 9 months shelf life) got also spoiled in a week (without even opening it). Worst experience ever. We are not gonna shop there anymore.
R
Only reason I visit this place is the availability of Indian groceries. There is nothing great to talk about. Staff are least interested in greeting you, other than asking if you need a bag. Some areas in the shop aren't very clean. I only buy raw/uncooked food here, never felt like buying the prepared ones, though they may taste good.
S
Generally go there on weekends at night time for fruits and vegetables. Have to say it that even that time of the day, they keep a good supply of there items. Moreover, the groceries are fairly priced. The only complaint I have is the aisles are pretty narrow, so it becomes challenging to stroll through them, especially with a trolley on a weekend.
K
Good selection of Indian groceries and reasonable price compared to near by Indian grocery stores. Always buys and difficult to find some of the items since it is not arranged properly Customer service also very bad , you have to find out what you want. Good selection of produce. They are also running vegetarian restaurant and food is so good.
V
Not that great of an experience. Place is not much hygienic with hardly any employees wearing mask. Groceries are priced little higher than its nearby competitors. My personal experience was not that good and I discontinued visiting here post first time.
P
I go here for Indian chats. They make nice chats . I like pani puri , masala puri and the gobhi paratha . It’s COVID friendly . Of course the price is reasonable.
a
Good place for Indian groceries . Food is really very good. Wait time is more in evening.
S
Not the best service. Place get really crowded and space between aisle is very less. I normally try to avoid doing shopping here but three stars for their kitchen quality. Love their food.

Online ordering experience(for pick-up) : really bad. First and last. Will not be a repeat customer. 1) I drove for 1/2 hour to pick groceries - most of the items I ordered online were "not available". The reason I drove 1/2 hour is so that I can get these specific items, but they are not available. There should be way to update inventory on the online ordering platform if they are not available. 2)Ordered "Makki ki roti and sarson ka saag" from eatery nearby as a part of online order - but food was not good. Had much better tasting makki ki roti from other restaurants in the Bay Area. 3)Online order said pickup 6-8 pm and I got a call 3 hours in advance saying "Your order is ready". Why give a pick up time then if you don't stick to it? 4)Person who called me was not polite - he did not have good customer service skills apologizing for the inconvenience. 5) As other reviewers have mentioned, the place itself is very chaotic, unorganized, no social distancing and very casual use of masks.
R
Typical Indian grocery store. Yes you will find almost all things here under one roof. Also there is a small restaurant kind of place with in this which serves Indian food. Not so clean but tastes good. You can find Indian vegetables as well here. Parking is enough outside. Not long queues for checkout, that's good. They have some free deliverythkng also but not very highlighted.
N
Totally non hygienic..they absolutely don't care for the pandemic... Adding to the past review. We recently bought packed indian sweets and the sweets had lots of fungus when we opened the box...
G
Big Indian Supermarket. Very good quality produce at prices that mainstream markets won't match. Very attractive prices on high quality rice. Large packages of inexpensive spices that I use for Indian and other dishes. Row after row of packaged Indian foods that I've never seen before.
A
Its usually pretty crowded. They have lot of stuff but its always a mess. If you don't mind the crowd, noise and mess, this is the right grocery store because you will find what you will need. The only other good Indian grocery store that I've found in the area is Bharat Bazar which has less stuff but its not a mess. I usually visit that store because I find what I need there. In my experience both stores have fresh vegetables.
u
Very good Indian market at the heart of Fremont. This location has excellent collection and Indian snacks at a better price. Also has a small Indian kitchen(a fast food corner) and the food taste delicious!
K
Fresh and nice quality vegetables most of the times. They also serve fresh food and snacks daily. For many items the prices are lesser than other indian stores. Their frozen food section is a bit messy at times with broken and old packets of food. But overall a good place for my weekly grocery needs.
J
Good Indian store. Nice food and snacks. Just some renovation going on in April 2021, so slightly dirty.
B
Good collection of Indian groceries, vegetables, fruits and frozen foods. You will find all your groceries in one place here. Quality and freshness maintained for all supplies. Very friendly staff.
n
Was tasty but was hard to my stomach to digest, just may be the potatoes have been cooked long time long in samosa or curries, well its a running restaurant so hope to get fresh n fresh food
A
Good prices and availability of Indian grocery and food. Snacks and carry out food items are fresh . I use this place very often .
R
My favorite store always , it was improved a lot In the recent times, I like the way there product arrangement and labeled everything nicely , it’s easier for consumers to know what to take and not.
A
Horrible experience. I heard lots of good things about different Indian snacks n chats available here. Today I thought to give it a try. I bought samosas n mirchi pakoras and to be my surprise both were not good in taste. The besan in mirchi pakora was tasted raw, not cooked properly. In samosa the stuffing was like some potato masala prepared in a hurry. The taste was definitely not like samosa. Last time My friend brought samosa box (pack of 10) of the same store and it was really tasty..don’t know what happened this time. Whatever may be the reason I won’t recommend this store to anyone especially for mirchi pakora n samosas. 😆
R
Decent place to buy Indian groceries. Prices are low as compared to other Indian stores nearby.
G
I for one have never understood why India Cash Carry cannot put labels on the aisles !! This would make shopping so much easier as is standard and expected in any grocery store ! If you're not Indian and we're looking for a specific item in the recipe it's a nightmare to navigate the aisles ! Despite this, it is one of the better maintained and "less" chaotic Indian grocery stores in the bay area. Billing is fast once you reach your turn. The mini restaurant in the back serves good, quick and tasty food. Recommend this place for a quick bite to-go order on busy days. The seated eating area is super dirty....DO NOT sit here and eat. Don't know how they pass health inspections.
s
They can't handle the counter. The lines and waiting are huge. For 5 or less items there are no separate counters.
Sir this is due power outage, please understand and cooperate
A
Indian grocery store with good takeout food and chaat items
F
Workers are very rude, asked for spicy chat and have attitude plus very rude demeanor
G
Good assortment of Indian groceries. Roti express food is great for quick fixes or big meals. Good green veggies as well. I found Guvava. I like that alot you can add your phone no. For their rewards program.
A
Its sometimes pretty busy if you are waiting in line to get roti. Otherwise good place
A
Nice little Indian store. Has a great collection of rice varieties, spices, frozen food and snacks. Has a chaat corner at nominal rates. Nice collection of vegetables too but some of them were not fresh.
A
Very Bad indian store, vegtables are not fresh , food is very bad, line is very long and time consuming to shop, possible please avoid and shop elsewhere
S
Has improved a lot. Food stall is always crowded. Please increase the billing counters for food stall ie., Stall where they sell snacks and tea.
K
India Cash And Carry Location in Fremont is below average store compared to Bharat Bazar and Apna Bazar. Weekend sale is a joke where they take out poor quality vegetables and other items. Don't waste your time unless your going for the Kitchen service.
R
Decent stock of the best foods😈😈😈😈
K
This place is not for online ordering, have ordered several times from this store, every time they either change the quantity or change the brand to increase the price for online ordering. They substitute products even though I mention clearly" substitution not required pls refund". Their online ordering very similar to Bharat Bazar.
R
Conventional Indian store - They carry fresh vegetables and Indian groceries, Reasonably priced. There is a kitchen inside serving fresh food. You can order for parties. I do all my shopping here for Indian goods. There is ample parking space in this complex. I see lot of Chinese and other Non-Indian communities shop here. Saturday Morning isa very good time to get fresh veggies from the shelf.
S
Like it’s sister store in Sunnyvale, this is a great Indian store to get nearly all of your groceries/household supplies. Priced reasonably, I think it is the cheapest Indian store in the Bay Area. There’s ample parking available. There’s usually less rush here than it’s sister store. Even on weekends, it isn’t very busy here. there is a fast food snack corner at the back of this store and the food here is delightful.
g
Best prices and friendly staff. You get a get collection of items too. Their rasoi express shop is very good too and they have jain items every day while the staff may not know.
Thnaku sir
R
Good combination of kitchen and groceries. The chaats are very filling and heavy. Very generous amount for Togo boxes.
E
Food is great but most employees do not follow rules when it comes to wearing masks properly. I went in to buy samosas and the guy who was serving the food was also in charge of the register machine, he was handling money and without washing his hands wanted to touch my food with his bare hands instead of using tongs. Simply disgusting.
I
Found this Tabacco wrapper inside Haldirams khatta meetha
C
Large Indian grocery store, great variety of organic beans and grains, fresh produce, and of course, rice. There is a vegetarian take out on site and every thing smelled so good I regretted having lunch before shopping. Walked out with a nice selection of beans lentils and snacks. Prices seem reasonable.
K
It has pretty much everything available that you can expect at an Indian grocery store. The aisles are bit congested but I guess that’s because of too much stuff available and lot of customers shopping.
A
At this Indian grocery store there is Rasoi Express Vegetarian food restaurant...The food quality is amazingly fresh and superb with lots of Thali affordable options. Only the sitting arrangements are not up to the mark....the restrooms are filthy and unclean...But because of delicious food I score this location 5/5 stars !! Thanks again for freshly served Vegetarian food.
P
Good selection of Indian Grocery at reasonable prices. Lot of fresh vegetable (again depends on the time of visit - could be a hit or miss). Weekend mornings are good to get the vegetables but unless it is early enough, there could be a crowd. Might not be able to find some of the rare items - unless multiple trips are made. The Rasoi Express @ the back of the store - is good for grabbing last minute dinner.
T
If you dig quality Vegetarian Indian grub then this is your SPOT!!! With an entire store of amazing food options, varieties of vegetables and brands that I’ve never heard of or seen before but need to experience type of things…after you’ve taken it all in…drag yourself into the back to their cafe style spot for a taste experience unlike many others!!!! I ask the staff for ideas and tell them what I like and usually am satiated beyond description with flavors and aromas bursting all around and upon my taste buds!!!
M
Amazing Indian food variety and you can also get day's specials in the kitchen at the back. I love the saag and chhole they make. Amazing quality and superb prices.
S
Worth visiting for grocery, food and lot more. Be careful ,sometimes old items and Inferior quality itemsmight be kept along with other things. It happened once with me about Bengal gram flour. But I couldn't return it. Food is good. Rice is correct priced.
s
Place is clean, you can find pretty much everything for Indian cooking needs...my only concern cashier's are not always attentive to what's being changed. You should always check your receipt after purchase. Have been over charged at times. I am not sure if there is any regulation on the pricing.
N
The place is good and found few spices which I had difficulty finding in other stores.. Found it cheap than other stores. They have amazing restaurant inside and they serve great samasa and tea.. I would have surely given it 5 but the veggies are not kept properly and sometimes not fresh..
P
You get Indian cooking items as well as tasty cooked food on the fast food bar. However, things are not arranged in a proper pattern, eg: you get spices and masalas in 2 different aisles which makes it difficult to search. Very cramped
P
Pros: (1) Decent sized store, almost everything you need from an Indian store is available. (2) In-store restaurant, for a quick bite or take-out. Cons: (1) Vegetables are not fresh, they wait for even rotten stock to sell before they replenish. (2) Many items are priced higher in their system than the shelf price, so you need to be vigilant while billing. If you point out, the cashier will correct the price for your bill but will not correct the system price, so other unsuspecting customers will continue to pay the higher price.
G
Value for money, careful about fresh sugarcane juice they're selling at entrance of cash and carry, our stomach got upset after drinking it, it was not fresh.
S
I bought food here and the guy that rang me up was a little rude. They forgot to give me my cheese sandwich and when i sent my daughter to go get them, he looked at her like she was lying about receiving them.I also bought roti, it wasn't fresh. Curry was good though. Okay food, but the service could have been a lot friendlier.
