Independent Financial E 29th St, Loveland

Do not open an account with this bank. I opened mine when it was home state and I loved it. After getting bought out a few times we have this nightmare. I can't count how many times I've been locked out of my online banking and how many times they rejected charges and called me with a fraud alert. Their phone systems are dated and so are they're atms. They are almost never open when anyone is off work. I could go on but what's the point DONT bank here. Doing what I should have done a long time ago and going in to close my account tomorrow.

One star is too high. It is not the employees fault to be certain, but Independent Bank finally forced us to move after going to Guaranty from Home State. Folks, Home State is gone. There are many banks out there that offer better deals. As long as you have to change you routing number, debit card, and checks, why stay? They offer no free overdraft on your acct, hold money way too long from big check deposit, do not have enough staff so long waits, and on and on. We went to FirstBank

Went in because last month I called about not getting my interest and got conflicting information on their "month". It used to be normal calendar month. We'll they told me about a different account where I could get 1.5% interest. So that week I searched the website to find account disclosures and details with no sucess. So I went in today and called outside for an appointmenr, hoping to get the full disclosures to see if it would be ok. The banker came to the door at let me in. Her voice was echoing because she was speaking to me very annoyed and almost yelling. I tried to ignore her elevated tone and violently clearing tons of papers off her desk. She told me conflicting information on what she was saying and the numbers on the sheet that she kept circling. I'm m sorry I was annoying this bank employees because I was asking for clear information and her yelling got to be too much along with gaslighting me saying I had to open an additional savings account. I closed my savings account with them several months ago, so I refused. I did leave very traumatized and swore saying I'll move my money. (I have 2 other banks) so I get home, thoroughly traumatized, scared my bank was robbing me. So I get a call when I got home to eat lunch and Jodi calls me, reprimanjng me for cusding. I said, "So you're calling me to reprimand me? Thank you." Snd hung up. How dare they terror me a good customer for 15 years.

Wouldn’t come here again if you paid me! I’ve had really good service with the branch off of Harmony and I thought I’d come to a different branch because it is now closer but still haven’t got my wire transfer done and I’ve been here a half hour. The other branch said I could do in drive thru ( drive thru teller was less than personable) but here they directed me inside and no one has still helped me.

Haven't had any problems whatsoever since the Home State buyout. They kept everything I liked about my account with Home State, with a completely smooth transition from my perspective. Good customer service both over the phone and in person at this location.

The 29th Street location has been incredible to work with!! The personnel is professional, quick-responding, and provide an over-all friendly environment! I own a business in town and wasn’t sure how the transition was going to go with the bank changing yet again, but the 29th street crew has definitely risen to the challenge! The other banks in town should really take note on customer service!!

Wanted to thank clerk Maya for being so gracious and kind when I had to make a large withdrawal. Excellent customer service! :)

LOOKING FOR A NEW BANK!! They are horrible. I miss Home State. Hubbie and I call it "NO Guarantee Bank". We banked at Home State for nearly 30 yrs. They never asked for ID to hold out $20.00 from a $1000.00 deposit. There is NOTHING we like about NO GUARANTEE BANK. We were never before charged $30 a year just for a simple checking account. I called the "receptionist" about that charge and she HUNG UP ON ME. I called back, asked for a manager or someone with more brains that her... the manager said she would waive the $30 this one time. THEY DIDN'T.

Independent Bank... Independent Financial... Supposedly changing the name again? No thank you. Employees locally are still cool just too bad it got bought out by some texas bank that doesn't care about customers. Staying local, going with Elevations Credit Union.

they sure dont instill much confidence with their constant online banking issues. even when its "working" its not very good. It takes two weeks to submit a bill payment from the time you "pay" to the time its delivered. I also seem to only call on their busy days and am on hold for over 30 minutes. Overall Im just not impressed.
