Totally unprofessional and rude. Too busy buying stolen merchandise from the addicts to service the customers. Zero customer service. Will never spend another dime in there. Older lady on the left with glasses, rude , rude, rude.

Went in to cash a personal check and they refused. They refused to run it through the check verification machine or call the check verification number. It’s a navy federal credit union check. They told me they don’t accept personal checks but that’s odd because it says they do on the website? I refuse to be treated like a scammer. I will definitely be reporting this location. Coming into this place can bring you either one of two experiences. 1: You can come in with good intentions and kindness only to have the employees treat you like you're beneath them and that they don't really need to serve you, or 2: you can come in and have a pleasant experience with one of the few good employees there. It's really a hit or miss, so proceed with caution.

Use this to send money abroad a couple of times, earlier this summer. Absolutely no hassles and really easy transactions. They have an amazing mural behind bulletproof glass; I passed my smart phone to the clerk and had her take a picture which I posted online. I don't normally need to use a place like this, but completing my business here was quite easy.

Them ladies that work there are very unprofessional and rude. I went to cash a check and they looked at me like I wrote the check myself and laughed at my face talking bout they didn't have they morning drink. Very rude but it's very convenient location

Was sent to this Currency Exchange from another one because I was told that they do notary. The old lady with glasses who said she was the notary was the most unprofessional employee I have dealt with in quite a while. When she was called to the counter from the back, she first stopped to start a meaningless conversation with one of the other window employees for a while, then rolled her eyes, and finally came to the window I had been waiting patiently for. She was so impolite and arrogant, that I just left, and took my business elsewhere. Never again.

One star is too generous...Customer service is essential in most business. I will drive the extra mile for service that is good or exceptional. Today accompanied 1 of my customers that needed support . She recived a check from the State of illnois for this purchase. Upon entering..We greeted the non greeting..unprofessional , frowned up and rude employee..Its clear that customer training is desperately needed. I would encourage others to take a ride to currency in Hyde park or go to the nearest bank...Go anywhere but to this currency exchange.Not only was one of the employees rude..but both employees that were working as a team.Team Rude !!..extremely rude. I hadn't experienced such rude and unprofessional service at a currency exchange before..If you are having a great day..Please don't stop here ✋

I asked for $5.00 in quarters. The lady was nice to give them to me wrap up in the coin wrapping. Which I did appreciate. I still wanted to count it. To me it didn't look right. "I wanted to count my money. She got upset and told me. "Do you want it or not?" I asked her don't you teach your children to count their money before they leave the counter; bank, store, any time they receive cash back. I guess she was upset that I thought she was cheating me, which she did not. Saturday 8:38am

Their phone is off and they are rude.

I called to ask a simple question as was met with unnecessary rudeness. This is fortunately not the only currency in the area. I work for a company that provides checks for our clients and will now send them to the currency on 47th and Halsted. This currency employees are in desperate need of customer service training. I called Saturday afternoon.
