IH Credit Union W 1st St, Springfield

I would use another credit union to do business, customer service terrible. However the branch manager at 1st street is very helpful.

I'm new to Springfield from Toledo and this Credit Union is absolutely amazing! Friendly, knowledgeable and about their business. Thank you IH. HIGHLY RECOMMENDING THEM

Refuse to make your money available when it is a direct deposit. I am looking elsewhere. This credit union used to be good. Now pure bs is all they want to talk when you have paperwork proving it is supposed to be in the bank and not dated 4 days after it was deposited!

Not to happy with this place. My car was repod due to no insurance but guess what I've had it since day one. Also my dad is on the loan so they said my name didn't add up to my dad's on the loan. Even though he signed a paper with my insurance and they sent this to the bank not once but three different times. Now I'm afraid they will repo again. I still had to pay fees and such to them and tow bill to get my car back. I'm going to see about switching my loan to another bank there policies just don't add up!

No way to call them during non-business hours. No online banking support between 5pm Friday and 9am Monday. System is down and no one is available to help. They also overdraft your account on purpose and don't waive any fees. Staff is all helplessly useless when using ANY sort of new technology (like a computer). Even when the online banking system was working, it was horribly outdated and barely functional. Avoid this bank at all costs.

This is not my bank, it is a shared branch of my bank in Colorado. I went in looking to withdraw cash to purchase a used car. They would only let me withdraw $1,000. Thats not my main issue tho..the teller was so snotty and im pretty sure she even rolled her eyes at me!! The customer next to me didn't seem to be getting any better service.. would not recommend this bank based on their customer service skills or lack their of...

Teller at this location had no interest in helping me and had an attitude the whole time. Horrible experience and I don’t plan on returning.

Do not use this credit union. They have terrible customer service and the loan payment system is a joke.. a 1 time payment costs $15 each time and the auto pay takes 45 days to be effective .. if your payment is late because of this they charge you a huge fee.. I REALLY advise using someone else.

BEWARE OF THIS BANK !!!!!!This bank is the absolute worst. They lack terribly in customer support. Nobody ever has any answers they give you a constant run around. On top of that they do NOT follow procedure in verifying identity prior to giving out passwords and log in information to online banking and then when confronted ..."well it is just your online portal" .... where you have COMPLETE ACCESS to all account info and money's. I am withdrawing funds from this bank immediately and looking for other options.

I prefer to give them 0 stars but that’s not an option. 1. Horrible customer service 2. Misinformation 3. Horrible website 4. Horrible experience I could go on about some things that happened but just know that u are making a BIG MISTAKE if u take out a loan with them. BEWARE!!!
