I & B Check Cashing Ave U, Brooklyn

Be Aware of this Check Cashing and their very unprofessional practices. I brought a MoneyGram money order from their Avenue X location a few days ago. I ended up not using the MoneyGram money order for the reason that I purchased it. I never wrote on the money order and the money order’s receipt was still attached. So of course I’d like to write it out to myself and cash it to get my money back the quickest way. I take my money order to their Avenue U location (these locations are related somehow) since the Avenue X location closes earlier. I explained to them what I would like to do. I was told that I have to take it back to the Avenue X location where I brought it from. The two cashiers/tellers let me know that they can tell where I brought it from by the numbers on the money order. NONE OF THAT MATTERED BECAUSE IT IS A MONEYGRAM MONEY ORDER. Who gives a hoot where I brought it from. How do you advertise Money Gram and use Money Gram’s services then tell people to go back to the location they brought it from? Ok cool. It’s all about strategy. I wrote the Money Order out to my friend and had him cash it the next day IN THE SAME AVENUE U LOCATION THAT THEY TOLD ME I COULDN’T CASH THE MONEY GRAM MONEY ORDER AT. Wow!!!!! Go figure. When you get the last laugh and you get to write a review about it.

This is the worst place ever i live in downtown Brooklyn and i work in avenue u i badly needed the money to buy a MetroCard but the were asking for proof of residency in this are they are the worst cutomer service ever hope they read this

I have been using i&b checking cashing for almost 30 years, I personally know the owner and they are always very eager to get whatever it is u need done ASAP. I highly recommend this establishment to anyone who wants financial services of any type to ssi checks being deposited or work checks cashed if u don’t have direct deposit They will work with you to also cash ex lawsuits. I could go on and on See for yourself ♥️♥️♥️

I came to cash my NYCHA CHECK AND BECAUSE IM OUT ON LEAVE HE TOLD ME HE CANT CASH IT BECAUSE I DO NOT work ACROSS THE STREET AT SHEEPSHEAD BAY

Made a big deal when I was about to cash my check.. I had my I.D and they wanted a home address letter
