The staff were exceptional at Centereach Hyundai! Nick, our salesman was so wonderful, courteous, knowledgeable, friendly and patient. Steve was excellent with helping get the numbers just right so our purchase went smoothly!! Laura was very knowledgeable and easy to work with getting all the paperwork in order and signed quickly and efficiently. Thank you so much for a perfect experience! Easiest it ever went buying a car!!!

From the minute you walk in this dealership they make you feel welcome and at ease. everyone who I spoke with was extremely polite, friendly and professional. at no time was anyone pushy. I went in looking for a Tuscon and met Fernando the sales manager who right away made me feel welcomed - he then introduced me to John Pickett Jr who was very easy to work with , friendly and I can't speak enough about John. I wound up taking the car and when it came time to sitting with Carlos in Finance I realized right away that he is a great guy, explained everything , welcomed us to the Hyundai family and went through all the details and paperwork . lets be honest - most of us typically don't enjoy the car buying experience but this dealership handles things in a much different and positive way than other dealerships do - thank you all 3 of you. stop in this dealership and you will see exactly what I am speaking of !!

2 month ago we started to shop for a new vehicle, because ours was going off lease, we bring in a great vehicle for return. We work out a deal , leave deposit and we wait for a vehicle, that never comes. So understanding how difficult it can be for the dealer to get vehicles we extend our lease to accommodate that and give them more time. 2 Months we never got any calls, we finally call back and the lady tells us they just got vehicles in, so we ask to speak to the salesman, he says they have a vehicle, ( was he ever going to call?) so, we set a date to come down and finish the deal, we had already left a deposit months ago. We had an appointment to come down at 12, we decided to call first and were told it was sold! the salesman said, sorry I had no control over it my manager sold it. This is how your manager operates???? So not only has our time been completely wasted, we would have drove their for nothing, without even a call. Obviously, this is the way management runs their business, not caring about their customers, than I have no right doing business with them. Not to mention after all this , we still asked about getting cars they told us they are not getting any in for awhile. I guess the shortage of cars give them the false sense that they can treat their customers poorly. Horrible experience!! Poor business ethics. Update, My wife called and left messages for Danielle, as she asked and we have yet gotten a return call. I've been left with no other option other than to search for a vehicle through another dealer.

I've come to expect bare minimum service from dealerships, but having my car serviced at Centereach Hyundai revealed a higher standard of car care and customer service. The car was ready on time, so I could head back to work and came back better than expected while not increasing the price of service. A straightforward dealership. Look forward to a long lasting relationship here.

Victor, Justin and Carlos were absolutely amazing to work with! Everything was so easy and they didn’t try to “sell” me. They heard what I wanted/needed and took terrific care of me and I am thrilled to have my new car! My whole family got their cars from them!! Wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Dropped my vehicle off for a second time for the same issue. I called them 15 minutes prior to closing and was told that they need to keep my car another day to have another technician look at it. I let them know I needed the car back by the end of the day I don’t have a second vehicle. I was told by Fernando there were no loaner cars. Didn’t have any care the inconvenience it would cause as I have work the next day and other obligations. It’s the same problem over and over with this dealer. Extremely comprising when you’re buying a car from them but when you have a problem or issue it’s the exact opposite.

I made an appointment to get a part for my car fixed at this location, I knew what was wrong with it as I had already had a diagnostic elsewhere. I went to this Hyundai because they said that they had the piece I needed- they told me that they would have to run their own diagnostic but that the car would be finished in a few hours. I should note that this Hyundai is over an hour from my apartment. I confirmed over the phone multiple times that they had the piece available: they never once recommended I put it on hold. When I got there, they ran a new diagnostic, it was the piece I had inquired about, they then told me that they no longer had it in stock. A waste of gas, 3 hours of driving and an hour of waiting around to leave me exactly where I started.

Every person in service department was incredibly, consistently helpful and friendly, from the woman who answered my phone call to make an appointment to the woman who checked us out when we picked up the car. I especially want to mention Virginia Russo, who works in the office, and James who handled the intake when I drove in. Interacting with both of these people resulted in a happy feeling that this was a great morning!

As soon as I walked in all personnel were attentive. Charmane asked w a smile what can she help me with. Miranda was asked to come over cause I asked for her. She said what can I do for you. She put me with Chris the consultant and got to what I was there for to look at Ford Focuses. All were professional and very nice. Chris also spoke w Fernando and he came over to check on things. Dear General Manager and Sales Consultant Nick Eckert, Thank you for clearing up a misunderstanding that occurred after I recently picked up my newly leased 2022 Tucson. First, thank you to Nick. I visited Centerreach Hyundai in late April and met Nick who was very knowledgeable about the Hyundai product. He was professional and answered my questions forthrightly. I was transparent with my budget constraints and Nick was able to work with the finance department to get a lease agreement that would work for me. Unfortunately there was some confusion when I picked up the vehicle later in May. I was charged a fee that wasn’t clearly articulated earlier. I paid the fee but shortly thereafter expressed my dismay to Nick. Nick said this was unacceptable and he would see what he could do. And now I am extremely pleased to say that Nick and the finance team at Centerreach Hyundai have made good on their promise of transparency and satisfaction—they refunded me the amount in question and have won a loyal customer for the future. And incidentally, my wife and I love the Tucson—the ride and trim package is as advertised-a real pleasure.

I can say my salesperson was 5 stars and met their motto of being “Centered around you”. That said the prep was not centered around the attention to detail or carefulness of the preparation - 2 stars. The inside driver door was scratched fairly bad; I brought this to their attention. The initial solution was to spray some detailer on it, which darkens the scuffs but did not address the issue. They did offer a nominal gift card; but should have been more give this is something that will be there for the life of the car. The front license plate was mounted crooked; which if I fix it I will put more holes in the bumper. On returning home from my 4 hour drive I realized that there were several plastic coatings in the back and ceiling that had not been removed. The dealer charged a NY Dealer Prep Fee close to $700. If you’re going to charge a fee for prepping the car it should be spotless, perfect condition and if not should not be blamed on poor lighting or a lot of plastic.

UPDATE: I just brought my daughter's car in for service, which she purchased certified pre-owned from Centereach Hyundai last year. Our service advisor was Fernando. He was awesome. We did not have an appointment, but he was able to get the car looked at quickly and resolve the issue for us. Another great experience at Centereach Hyundai! Let me start by saying that I am not easily impressed by car dealerships, especially their service departments, due to past experiences. However, my experience with Centereach Hyundai's service department was a stress free, absolute pleasure. This was largely due to my service advisor, Gregory. I needed to have some major warranty work done. He kept in constant communication throughout the process, providing me with regular updates and giving me peace of mind that everything would be fine. The car was ready for pickup on the day he told me it would be and runs beautifully. If you need service on your Hyundai, be sure to stop into Centereach Hyundai and ask for Gregory. He will take good care of you!

They're helpful with my car needs. I just wish they had loaner cars when I drop-off my car if it needs to stay for a certain duration of time.

Had the best experience today while purchasing my new Hyundai Sonata at Centereach Hyundai. There service center is top notch, I always have my car serviced there, but today I happened to look at what cars they had while I was waiting and saw one that I kinda liked. Salesman Corey was a true professional. Went over everything with me and made sure that he got me in the car at the price I was hoping to pay. He really made it a quite enjoyable experience, I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a new car! You feel no pressure at all, just quality service!

I have had my used car since Nov 8th 2021 the sales team is great the service department and people that pick up phone are rude horrible and ridiculous my trunk Still doesn't work and instead of keeping my car to fix it Which we thought that's what we would be doing so we filled the gas tank completely full when they gave it to us with 30 miles to empty I have to give back there loaner to give to another customer and wait till the part comes in Upon talking to their service manager not only did she show me a calendar of of all of the loner cars that need to go out but then when she made it seem like she was doing me a favor by favor by giving me back the money I have paid for gas for her loner I said to her I have to wait to get the money back And she said yes and I was like you're kidding and she tried to hand me a $20 bill out of her Wallet talk about insulting and rude I told her I'm not a charity case I don't need her money it should have communicated to us better and we wouldn't have filled up the car this dealership isn't centered around there customers there centered around themselves I will NEVER buy another car from here used or new

Just go to Vinny R. Got myself an ioniq 5 SEL and and very happy with it. Unlike other dealers that know nothing about BEVs and state completely incorrect facts- I was pleasantly surprised by Vinny’s knowledge and best of all, if he didn’t know something—he promptly followed up.

Don’t waste that extra few weeks like I did looking elsewhere. Ariana at Centereach Hyundai was exceptional. She was able to get me into the exact vehicle I want at a lower cost than anywhere else. I spent a few weeks looking all throughout Suffolk County and was fortunate enough to finally find what I was looking for here. I went to look at the hyundai palisade and Brandon was extremely helpful and knowledgeable on the car. By the time I left hyundai I knew how to work almost all the features after he showed me what to do. I have never felt so cheated and used by a business in my life. Technicians destroyed my vehicle and absolutely no heads up from staff to the additional damage not present when my vehicle was brought in for diagnosis. Promptly purchased a new vehicle elsewhere.

I took my senior citizen friend to Centereach Hyundai to buy a new used car. Salesman Steve Avdoulos was excellent! He was very patient and professional while showing us all of the various cars on the lot. He did not pressure us in any way and it was an overall wonderful experience. Likewise the Finance Manager Ron Siegel was an excellent communicator and it was a pleasure working with him as well. I highly recommend Centereach Hyundai without reservation.

Sales and finance were very pleasurable to work with. Personality is a plus. However I have had 2 different issues with my vehicle since purchasing it 2 weeks ago and can not get a return call. That is an issue as far as continued customer service.

My new car for a week, while they replace my engine and starter, what a freakin week. Centereach Hyundai, Teresa in service was so helpful, she started the paperwork before the car got there and they even covered towing from my mechanic to the dealer. Dealer is charging a substantial markup over retail. Felt really scummy, left and went to Hyundai 112, got the same SUV for 5k less than what was quoted at Centereach. No markup, no dealer fees. Almost 10% less. My recommendation: go someplace else; and keep in mind when this car craze is over, this dealership decided to screw the customers over by capitalizing on a shortage.

We left with the car we wanted and feeling very good with the deal we received. In August of 2018, I started my lease with this dealership. It was my very first lease, and was truly nerve-racking but this dealership has been amazing! My car broke down on me right before college was starting back up again, I needed a car and I needed it fast. I didn't search or read reviews due to time, but I am so happy this dealership worked out for me. They got me a car faster then I thought was possible and I am so happy I lease through them. Al, a sales-man is extremely helpful and responsive. Whenever I need a question asked, he is willing to listen and answer my questions. His goal is to help his customers the best way that he can and it is obvious that he loves what he does! In 2 years, I'll definitely be back to work with him on my next car through Centereach Hyundai. The service center gets my car done quickly and is extremely generous. Everyone in the service department are friendly and professional. The worst place in the world, moste Expensive. I see on cars guru car was 9999$. When I come dealers car was 15000, , fee + guarantee. I meet here Unprofessional manager. He told me crazy price and after 15000 I should pay 200 for plates. He don't do for my discount 200$. They are lying evrything. Thay take 200 $ from me daposit so I I'm waiting for this money one week

He didn’t not try to push us into any deal he gave us are space as we decided, but most importantly the numbers he gave us were the numbers we paid ,not a penny more ,which is unusual when dealing with buying a new car !!! I love Hyundai’s, this was my 6th lease in 9 years! Not everyone told the truth at this dealership, especially the online sales departments, but Victor was great and Chris in Sales was wonderful to work with! Very honest and nice and I almost never find this in sales or in a dealership! I will definitely be back to Chris in the future!

Buying/leasing a car should not be the gruesome and uncomfortable experience it has become at so many other organizations. Some reviews mention the process taking too long, but this is a big purchase and one should expect the process to be very involved!.. John kept us updated when we were waiting to move forward with each step and I truly did not feel neglected as I did at several other dealerships. John has a super calm demeanor and worked very patiently with me regarding each and every question/ concern my family and I had. To add, so did the finance and service department; both were accommodating and helpful. I would recommend anyone go to Centereach Hyundai (ask for John) and skip the complete mess elsewhere.

I needed a car and decided to pop in. I didn’t intend to buy but when I met the saleswoman LaJune she was very friendly, kind and helpful. She listened to what I needed in a car and and found an Elantra for me and a red one which I requested. She got me a great deal and I didn’t need to go anywhere else.So I drove away in a new, red Elantra very happy.

Sales rep greeted us as soon as we walked in and asked if he could help. We told him what we were looking for and did everything to help us get what we asked for. He was always kind and courteous and did what he could to put us at ease.

I had a great overall experience at Centereach Hyundai. Lajune and Laura were very pleasant to work with, and they did everything they could to make sure the process went smoothly. I traded in a Nissan Sentra for a new Sonata limited, and they gave me a great deal on the trade-in. I will say that you should do your homework and come to the dealer prepared. Like any other car dealer, they want to make the most amount of money as possible, so at first I wasn't too impressed with their initial offer. However, what I really liked about Centereach Hyundai was the fact that they were very reasonable and willing to work with me. By contrast, I went to Hyundai 112 just to compare price quotes; they essentially gave me an offer and said "take it or leave it," and they were unwilling to negotiate. I was eventually able to come to a deal at Centereach Hyundai, and I was able to get the new Sonata that I was after. As long as you do your research beforehand (as you should with any car dealer, not just Centereach Hyundai), then you shouldn't have any problems. I would definitely recommend this dealer.

Willing to help and get me the best for what I wanted. Updating my review.... Before I bought my car it had a scratch on the side that o asked for them to fix. I was told it would be fixed but I would have to wait for the detail guy to come in. Waited a few days and called. Was told I would get a call back and didn't. After about a week I got a call from my sales person to check up on the car. Told them i still have not gotten a call back for the scratch. He told me he would take care of it. No call back, called about a week later and was told I would get a call back. It's been over a month and still nothing. Lowering me rating because of this. The service department was great though. Had no problem with them. Got in and out quick from my issue.

I went to the dealership because I received a letter regarding an early lease temination on the vehicle i was driving. When i walked into the dealership I was quickly greeted by a friendly smiling face which was Diego. He was extremely helpful, since I was unfamiliar with the Hyundai family and was extremely patient with me and showed me the vehicle and since I had previously been in the auto industry explained to me which car would best fit my needs and my budget. I was truly not expecting to walk out of the dealership with a car that day but because Diego made everything so easy and so pleasant he made that possible. He gave me a great experience into the Hyundai family and I love my new Sonata!!! I couldn't have asked for a better salesman to take care of me and want to thank him for everything he did for me that day. It was truly an excellent experience.

Very rude manager. Just wanting to know information about a car over the phone, but as a sales manager he couldn’t care less. With an aggravating tone he seemed dismissive about wanting to talk about pricing and anything else. Hoping to make a deal, but he wasn’t ready to put it in paper. Really terrible customer service, I advise you to go elsewhere if you are going to spend thousands of dollars on a new car!

Lajune was absolutely fantastic, took her time with us and answered all of my nit-pick questions. She even went as far as to order the car I wanted in the exact colors I wanted and had it there incredibly fast. She made the process so easy and treated me like an actual human being (which you would think is standard, but compared to the 6 other dealerships in the Centereach area I went to I found was a rarity). I went there not really caring what make/model of car I bought, but focused on how the dealership treated me in the purchase process and because of my excellent experience there I will be returning when it comes time for my husband to purchase a new vehicle as well.

I bought a used 2020 Toyota Tacoma for my company from that dealer about a month ago I am a small business owner in South Jersey The entire transaction has been completed on line. and I should say that Miranda my sales person did a fantastic job she is honest and upfront and if she does not have an answer to any of my question she asks and always get back to me., Thank you Miranda for the the great job you have done. Went in to meet with Will Arons multiple times. Test drove a base model of the vehicle I am interested in. Agreed to a price and left a deposit. Will states “leave me the hundred dollars for now. It’s totally refundable and obviously if you aren’t comfortable with the car we’ll have no issue selling it to someone else anyway given the demand”. I leave the agreed to deposit and wait for the followup call with vehicle status. The next call I get is from a Finance manager 10 days later to tell me that he will no longer be willing to hold the vehicle unless I pay another $400 (no issue with that) And have “credit on file” (run my credit score). I have no issue running my credit when the vehicle is in. What I do have an issue with is running my credit and hoping it shows up in time before they have to run it again. Banks only extend loan offers for a certain period after a credit inquiry. I’m not looking to have my credit run twice for no purpose. I said no given the things I outlined above. Sales manager Victor gets on the phone and after a bit of back and forth reiterating what has already been said he says “sir the bottom line is I have a car that’s in really high demand and am not going to hold it for you unless you give me what’s been asked for.” Disgusting business practices.

Will was pleasant and friendly . He was not like others sales people I had in the past. Laura the finance personnel was very friendly and explain every document I was signing not being rush like I had in the past with other dealerships. Will definitely recommend centereach. With my new Kona will still continue to use centereach with the maintenance as the the people there are friendly and place very clean.

Honestly, I came back 3 or 4 times after i bought Hyundai Tucson not being happy . I felt it didn't fit me. Three months later i found the Hyundai Santa Fe much bigger and better fit! Service has a recurring issue, will not buy another Hyundai in my lifetime after owning four of them. Their attention to servicing a customer is horrendous at best. They need to go and visit Mercedes-Benz or BMW to see what custom service looks like. After waiting two weeks for an appointment they forget to order the parts and was not aware of the issue until I called at the end of the next day they told me they would contact me to bring it back in for the repairs. So in other words if I never called they would have never contacted me! Hey I fully understand that mistakes happen but who’s watching the store?😡

As a first time car buyer the staff was extremely helpful throughout my whole process, all the while making it a very personal event. Vinny was my sales guy, very inviting and supportive during my time there. I would highly recommend anyone who visit to refer to him.

I had made an inquiry on a vehicle on line and was promptly reached out to by Danielle who was quite possibly the only respectful and kind person in this dealership. I explained my situation of needing to trade in a vehicle with negative equity and my maximum monthly payments, I filled out a finance application before arriving and was told that the finance manager Laura was able to get me a deal within my price range. Upon arrival I was greeted by Steve Avodulos and John Murano both of which seemed to know nothing about my situation. After explaining everything a second time John went to get the vehicle I had inquired about from the lot and “couldn’t find it” so they had me test drive a car 2 years newer and $8,000 more expensive. I then sat down with them as the “went over the numbers” with Laura, they came back to me and told me they couldn’t take my trade in due to the negative equity and gave me a monthly payment of $676, I declined as I told them my max was $500. Steve and John then told me my best bet was to take my car down to Freeport or Lindenhurst during the next storm and let the engine flood so my car would be totaled. The service here was disgusting and absolutely uncalled for, when John called me the following day I told him we would be looking for a car elsewhere and he said “good luck finding someone to take that car, it’s not worth anything” and then hung up the phone on me. I then received 3 emails requesting I call the showroom to discuss further and I replied with an email letting them know I would not be working with them and was told I needed to call to speak with the manager and when I did I was rudely hung up on. These people are rude, unprofessional and scam artists. I took my business to Atlantic Hyundai and was able to get into a 2020 Elantra with 14,000 miles on it, they took my trade in & my monthly payments were only $457. I will never visit this dealership again and will continue to tell everyone I know to stay far away from it.

After visiting 2 previous Hyundai dealerships and having terrible experiences, I went in to Centereach Hyundai with very little hope (from the previous experiences) looking to replace my vehicle from an accident and my salesman Chris did an amazing job helping me look around to see what I liked. My lease for my 2019 Sonata that I purchased from them is up in February. Went there yesterday to lease a 2022! Wow! $5000.00 above the MSRP on a 2022 Sonata Limited! My 2019 only has 20,000 miles on it. Do your homework and see what they are selling them for! They wanted to give me NO equity or even split it to get me down to the lease price that I have now. For months they sent me letters stating to come down and get a new lease AT OR A LITTLE ABOVE WHAT I'M PAYING NOW! GREEDY is the word for them!

My wife had gone in a year ago and leased an Elantra. She enjoyed her salesman and the rest of the staff so much that last week when it was my turn to car shop, she didn't miss a beat, saying: "go to Centereach Hyundai" (adding "ask for John Markel"). The staff is not pushy, they're not aggressive, they're not any of the things you'd expect car salesmen to be. They're welcoming and genuinely want to help you find the best car for whatever price you're looking for. I went in looking for a base model Tucson and left with a higher trim Santa Fe paying EXACTLY what I wanted from the beginning. One of the managers, Rick, was extremely helpful in helping me achieve this goal. If you're still reading this, the best is yet to come. The first night we went to look for my car, we ended up leaving, it was getting late, we both came from work and were very tired but we were at the point of talking numbers. As soon as we decided to call it a night and that we'd keep in touch, we got a warm "thank you for coming in", none of that chasing us out the door stuff pleading and begging for us to buy that night. The next day, I called and said the offer was perfect and I wanted to sign. That night, I was driving home from clinicals in my brand new '19 Santa Fe. All of the salesmen/women are courteous and professional, but I'm biased having dealt with John Markel, he's a salt of the earth kinda guy. Very transparent, patient, understanding and hard working. I leased 2020 Hyundai Santa Fe a year ago I love my truck. I never had the opportunity to give my review on my experience with the staff they are very nice but Brandon who is the leasing manager was the best. Friendly, knowledgeable, respectful & honest. Brandon even after the fact of my lease he always answers all my questions & any services that my vehicle needs he’s always there.

Prices are 20-30% more than what is online. Even though the online prices and quotes is supposed to be accurate, it is not. Even with 2 family members leasing from here, leasing quotes are ridiculously high.. 112 offered far better deals..

Was a great experience until we entered the finance room. The finance guy, Ray Azzato, was pushing the maintenance package hard, and we declined several times. When we saw a line item for "Other Aftermarkets" for $1600 in the final papers, he assured us this was the "interest on the loan" and that's why is showed up there. Fast forward a few weeks later, we realize Ray had scammed us and added the maintenance package to our car by lying to us about the line item. We wasted a few hours on a Saturday morning to go into the dealership and get it removed. The finance manager realized that Ray hadn't even had us sign anything related to this maintenance package. She was shady about the whole thing too, and just left the room and sent Ray back in to apologize to us. We did a google search on Ray Azzato and realized he did some time in a Florida jail for larceny - there is a mug shot any everything. I wasn't sure if I should mention this, because I believe in second chances, but it seems like he didn't learn his lesson and other people are at risk of being scammed/robbed. We reached out to Hyundai corporate and they told us they can't do anything because each dealership is independently owned. Long story short, be very careful dealing with this dealership. I had planned on buying an additional Hyundai's this Fall, but now I have to go elsewhere unfortunately.

Raymond is an exceptional sales representative. He is understanding, patient and listens to all needs and requests. He got me the perfect car and did everything he could to make it work within my budget. Made my car shopping experience so pleasant in comparison to other dealerships I have been to in the past. 100/10 for Raymond and the Center reach team! Very pleased with the service on my car. They knew right away what was wrong with it. The only thing was the fact that it took 3 weeks to get an appointment which was not good for me since I had a leak inside my car due to the air conditioner and could have caused mold. Otherwise the service was excellent. they treated it for mold, which I was happy about.

I loved working with their service dept, they made everything easy and stress free, my problem lies in what followed my service and that was countless mailed vouchers and calls regarding trading in my vehicle. At first I entertained working with Centereaches sales team on doing a promotional trade in but I made it clear to them that I am a hard worker, my time is limited, and I did not want to increase my budget. Two sales reps appraised my car and reviewed that appraisal while conversing with me on the phone and said I was not only ahead but that they could price match me going into a meeting vehicle. I assured them if I had to pay a dollar more I would like to not take the time to come down in person. They ignored that at told me yes they were good on their word and would like to schedule an appointment to come finalize my trade in. I took one of my two days off to make this appointment and immediately was told that none of the cars I was interested in fit my budge, fast forward a few weeks they claimed they had cars in my budget I went a second day and was told no, that I would be paying an excess of 300+ dollars to get into the new car. They wasted my time. And they have since refused my many request to take me off their mailing and calling list. I’ve tried to remain calm with this but I’ve turned to yelling at them when they call and still nothing is done. As a customer service person I hate to say it, I am an irate customer after how I’ve been treated and the time they’ve wasted. They wasted two days and countless phone hours lying to me about what they could and couldn’t do.

From the day we walk in they showed nothing but a professional upbeat attitude. Corey was the best he did not give up on my daughter when everyone else gave up on her he did not. Center each Hyundai has my business and anyone else I can recommend. Oh the financing guy was awesome got her better rates.Cory you rock!

Purchased a 2022 hyundai palisade was given an offer by the sales woman, said great, no problem. Get into financing and they changed the deal on me saying I didn't qualify for the original offer. Accepted the second offer, but my judgment was clouded by the excitement of getting our first new car. Didn't realize they hit me for $10,000 over MSRP.

I purchased a car from Centereach Hyundai on August 14th. The experience was perfect from pulling up to driving away a short time later in my new car!! My salesman was Chris C. He was very informative and answered all my questions. He did not have a typical salesman approach with pressure to purchase. This was extremely appreciated! I arrived just to look and it was Chris’ friendly personality that allowed me to make my own decision to purchase a car that day. I am so disappointed in this dealership, I have leased many vehicles from them, I had a 2 pm appointment yesterday, they made me wait 45 minutes and then my salesman,Justin took maybe 7 minutes with us and said sorry we have nothing unless you want to spend a outrageous amount on an Sonnata lease, he made no other suggestions for maybe a Elantra , just nothing to even try to work on something for me as a returned customer. I am so disappointed, going to another dealership;there is no customer loyalty here.

They scratched my car and the service manager gave me every excuse and reason as to why it was not them. The guy comes out with an arrogant demeanour, after the service person went in to get him, and proceeds to explain how the damage could have happened any number of ways (he does have an impressive capacity for BS)!!!! All I know is the car went in with no dings on the driver's side front door and it came out with a massive scratch, and all the manager did was walk around the car and point to all the other nicks that were there, which I did not complain about. So in answer to your question: would I recommend a friend to go there? HELL NO! The only person I would recommend going there is a mortal enemy who somehow managed to give me gonorrhea and Hell has frozen over. I hope this was a helpful review. PS. my appointment was set for 7am and I was not seen till 7:25am (25 minutes wait time for a pre-booked 7am appointment, what great customer service)

Came in today to lease a new car, requested a salesperson twice, waited almost 20 minutes, 6 people at their desk, only 2 with customers and not 1 came over to greet or assist. Absolute disgrace. It's really a shame, your service dept. Is wonderful. Took my business to Hyundai 112 and at 5pm drove off in my new htundai santa fe. If your salespeople want to make a sale they need to actually work.

I have to write this review. It’s not something I usually do. This place is great. I bought a used Hyundai Sonata here. From day one they were great. My experience in the past buying a car hasn’t been so good at other places. I always used to feel like I was a little lamb walking into a lions cage. But not here. I told them my budget. And they totally worked with me to get me in a car I can afford and love. Go ahead 2 years and I been in and out for My oil changes and minor repairs (my fault). This dealership is the best. I had the best experience ever. The team is very professional. Originally, I was nervous about considering buying a car from NY when I live in Maryland. Went here for my 1st oil change after buying a used car. They were very nice. I have gone to other dealerships with other cars and they washed it after the work here they didnt and I my tire pressure light is on and never even checked it . but was out within an hour. waiting room is opened.

I had a new engine replaced in my car, new brake pads and calibers in my car. I was told after the new engine was installed "we can't guarantee we test drive the vehicles". I received this answer after driving 2 miles from the dealership finding out the engine light is on and could not shift out of 3rd gear. Keep in mind they had my car for 6 weeks. Next they then find out they needed to replace somthing in my turbo which they could have known if they test drove it,that cost me more. The kicker was the 3.5% service charge for credit cards and as a company owner I know for a fact that is NOT the card transaction fee, it's usually 2.5%. Finally I am about to leave the second time, checking everything and they didn't add oil to the new engine!!!! It was below low the oil for a new 6k $ engine. THEY OVERSEE DETAILS WHICH COSTED ME TIME AND MONEY and there answers were "we do alot of cars here, we can't guarantee everything....."..Finally the kicker they sell me on trying to buy my car because of all the features they rave about then offer me INSANELY LOW offer like I was an ignorant fool to the marketplace and what my car bares in value. Only good people were the front desk lady at the service dept and Teresa with client management. NEVER COMING BACK.

My husband and I went to look at a car on Monday. We knew what we were looking for and wanted a no hassle, no fuss deal. Chris greeted us and showed us the car we had our eye on. Chris was awesome from beginning to end. No pressure, no nonsense and a great salesperson to work with. Maria, the finance agent, was also a pleasure to work with. While my husband was arranging insurance, we had a friendly chat. Again no hard sale pitches to purchase gap insurance. This is my 3rd car purchase, and it was a great experience. I would definitely recommend Centereach Hyundai to anyone.

I went in too check out a Elantra but when I saw the Sonata and drive it I had too have it especially after the great deal that victor the manger and William the salesman gave me!!!! No pressure at all and William took the xtra time too set everything up for me love that you can start up the car from inside your house and do almost anything thank you again

What an awesome experience today. Tyler quickly responded with email and set up appointment. Met with John and picked and vehicle and Laura helped in finance. After horrible experiences at other dealerships it was refreshing to work with such a professional and organized team. All together spent less than two hours in the dealership. Will be back again.

The staff at Centereach Hyundai is all very helpful from the minute that you walk in the front door through the service department. Everybody goes out of their way to help make sure that you are happy. Rick was my salesman three years ago and is now the sales manager and it has been a true pleasure working with him! This is a very shady and unprofessional dealership. Honesty goes a long way and they were far from honest. I went in ran, my credit, got a co-signer like finance suggested, sent in my paystubs and everything else they asked for. I was told we were approved for a certain vehicle by Laura (the finance director) and she informed me she would have my sales rep Al call and schedule appointment for me to come in and pick up the car. A few hours past so I called and emailed and was lied to and strung along. Then Al finally called and told me to come in two days later to pick up the car. I informed Al I wanted to come in and see the car at minimum since I have not yet seen it and I was told no it’s best I come in two days. I felt that was a little fishy, being all I wanted to do was see the vehicle so I called back and spoke with a manager. The manager got on the phone and began to say the car is in the shop. I began to tell him my frustrations on how I was being lied to and stung along and that’s when he finally told me the truth that the car was sold but he could get me into a car I already told them I didn’t want two weeks prior. I would not be giving this rating if I was dealt with in a honest and professional way. I understand this is a business when money comes you take the opportunity but no matter the situation you should be honest with your customers. You will gain much more respect that way.

So, I went there to sell a KBB appraised SUV, and purchase another one. I spent a lot of time online, looking, getting prequalified. Got there early, Nick, my salesman, was great. He understood my purpose, and my requirements. I sold my Highlander for a decent price, and ended up financing the Tucson I found online. The process was pretty painless. There’s always “bad news snd good news” when it comes to buying a car, and in this case, with Nicks guidance, the good news outweighed the bad. Andre the finance manager was great as well. Nobody was pushy, obnoxious or even remotely uncool. I’d def recommend this dealership, and the selection of vehicles is pretty good too.

I bought my car today from uncle frank and he did an amazing job. I had gotten into an accident due to the snow and my original car was totaled. I went to so many dealership who did not care for my business, probably because I'm only 25, but from the minute I came to mid island Hyundai I felt like I was taken serious. He showed me many car and didn't give up until I found one I wanted. Within the week I was able to pick up my car and it was perfect. Frank made the process very simple and painless, like buying a car from your uncle. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a car, and I will definitely be back when it is time to buy a new one.

I only brought the car to Hyundai to resolve recalls on it and get the mileage reimbursement. I don't plan to bring the car to Hyundai for any other service. I've had terrible experiences with the Hyundai in West Islip that I don't hold Centereach responsible for, but that have definitely turned me off Hyundai, so I'm not inclined to give the company any further business. Centereach Hyundai did nothing wrong, but I'm definitely a disgruntled Hyundai customer in general. and it colors all of my experiences with the company.

My Wife and I were looking for a car and we had the pleasure of working with John Pickett Jr. He helped us from start to finish and he made the entire process super easy and stress free.
