Hurricane Valley InstaCare N 2260 W, Hurricane

Went last Thursday. Staff was polite, professional. I had to have xrays done, went well, the PA that treated me was great. Even with the xrays I was in and out in under 2 hours which I thought was reasonable.

I am local and made a trip to Instacare yesterday about an injured finger. I feel the one star reviews about the Hurrcane Instacare are blatantly unfair. Nearly every one star review complained about the wait time. This is a WALK IN CLINIC! Like a restaurant, if you arrive at a busy time, there'll be a wait. I waited one hour. I found the staff and medical personnel friendly, caring, and competent. I was satisfied with the diagnosis and treatment.

AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!!!!!!!! Didn't have much of a choice but to come here. Was on vacation to Hurricane and was experiencing major sinus infection which was excruciating in the elevation. I was desperate. I was seen by the Dr who prescribed me medication and told me I could pick it up in 15 mins. I was so relieved and was thankful until the doctor NEVER SENT MY SCRIPT OVER ! IM NOW IN MY 3RD DAY OF CALLING JUST FOR RECEPTIONIST TO SEND ME TO VOICEMAIL, NO CALL BACK AT ALL. I LITERALLY HAD TO LEAVE MY VACATION BECAUSE OF THIS! Please do yourself a favor and go somewhere else, I wish i would have drove the extra 28 mins to the another place.

Yeah I can see why now that they have the rating they have. At first I thought it must be a few grumpy patrons, but from my interaction today, this rating is warranted. #1 google search phone for them isn’t correct and the lady answering the phones didn’t seem too concerned. #2 Asked if they do COVID testing and the answer was “if you meet the criteria set by the doctors “....So that sort of seems like a yes but not really. #3 She said they were closed today. I asked why. She didn’t seem to want to give me an answer. When pressed she gave a vague answer about not having enough staff. #4 There is an online option to book your time ahead. She said they no longer have that. She didn’t seem too concerned that it was incorrect. As in....that’s not my job so, that’s too bad. The question is - What would you say you do here? Disappointed when you are sick and would like some help.

Ridiculous wait time, online said 40 minutes, when I got here was told an hour, sat in the waiting room for over 2 hours before I was even seen. After being put in the room, waited another hour before being examined. Ridiculous.

Was seen as quickly as could be expected for a walk-in clinic. Staff was kind and helpful, and I got some prescriptions that will hopefully help me out. Though I don't WANT to go back soon (hope to stay healthy), I won't hesitate to visit if needed.

I would rename this place to Hurricane Valley SloCare. It took close to two hours to been seen by a doctor. My daughter was in immense pain and had to wait that long to see a doctor who spent less then 3 mins with us. The place seems understaffed and people who work there don’t care about you at all.

A wait is always expected in an urgent care. Every time I’ve been in there I was very happy with the results. Everyone back there is very courteous and professional.

Needed an X-ray for a hand injury and was seen within 30 minutes. Physician was friendly and gave us exactly what we needed from out of state. Would definitely go back if needed.

All the staff was courteous and attentive to my husband’s and my needs. We went in and were seen within 45 mins. Love the nurse and the PA we saw. They lightened the mood with some humor and sent us home with hope and an Rx. All in all it’s a great place to visit and they were very thorough.

What a joke. I came in December 30th 2021 for insta care and it was closed!? The hours online and in their lobby both said they were open. I understand if a doctor doesn’t show up, but there wasn’t a note or anything at the reception area. I finally asked another department if they knew anything and all I got was I don’t know I guess they went home. I wish this wasn’t the only insta care in Hurricane.

My 3 year-old daughter cut her forehead and urgently needed stitches. The staff here was welcoming, professional, and skilled. The NP who stitched her laceration did a wonderful job both keeping my daughter calm and performing delicate stitches. My daughter even picked out two toy rewards when we were finished. The visit was only a couple hours, much shorter than we expected. My husband and I are grateful for this Instacare!
