Huntington Bank N River Ave, Holland

This location’s customer service is horrible I work at a bank and at no point should you turn a customer around if you’re still open. Good customer service is going above and beyond because that is your job. I will never come back to this location.

Horrible interest rates. My dad and I both carry about the same balance in our checking account. Every month Lake Michigan Credit Union gives me $20 to $30 dollars in interest. This place gives my dad 0.23 cents a month. Dreadful, but dad being 93 yrs old won't switch 😕.

If I could give this bank a zero rating, I would. Anyone considering banking with this company, I would strongly consider other options. They refuse to do any transactions without you being in the branch. If you live somewhere that does not have a branch, forget about getting ANYTHING done. They refuse to mail paperwork for power of attorney, opening accounts, closing accounts or any account changes. They refuse to even issue a check made out to the account owner themselves unless you are in branch. Whoever makes this bank’s inflexible and burdensome policies obviously only cares about the bank and not the customers.

I've been with Huntington for over 18 years. They're the Best hands down. Pam has been the greatest teller and been with Huntington since we've opened our accounts. Thanks Huntington on River Avenue

Some branches are better than most can’t say that here though. The branches at the W Shore Drive across the street from Meijer actually are nicer than here as the branch manager. The branch at Meijer is long gone. Won't bank at Huntington further.

Have banked here for many years, as staff know me by my face and have always been helpful and nice. About a year ago I decided to change primary banks to another company as I work 12-14 hrs a day and rely on ATM banking withdraws and deposits, and far too often huntington atms were out of order. I have still maintained this account as I have a auto payment come out, and 2 weeks ago, attempted to deposit funds to cover for my auto payment as I flew out on vacation to Florida. Atm out of service! Took picture, got back to town this week and huntington not willing to refund overdraft fee! As they say they have already refunded a couple times in the last 12 months, true indeed for the same reason I changed primary bank to other. I have noticed about 2 months ago I did see they upgraded one of there ancient ATMs, although I closed my account today, others sure will be happy to use new ones!

My experience has been very good overall for many years. Not perfect, but banks are banks. Maybe part of it is that I have had accounts there for a long time. They have always treated me well and provided the services needed.

Never a friendly atmosphere. They will Not acknowledge you when you walk in. The “manager” is always in the lowest attitude. Prefer Huntington Branch across Meijers.

Horrible service just like 8th street location
