I’ve had an account at this bank for two years now and at first I loved it. But in the last two months they’ve really been getting on my nerves Don’t get an account here it will be a waste of your time and money

I have to say I love this location. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. The woman who helped me with my car loan made the experience quick and easy. Overall an awesome place to bank!

The staff is professional but I would prefer that they had an express deposit box. I find it annoying to be interrogated by a teller when I am making a simple small deposit without taking out any cash.

I am writing this review because customer service was not helpful at all on the phone. I have been paying my van lease through HVCU now for over 2 years. I always pay a few cents over the bill payment. Apparently last month the check arrived one day late. It may have been because of a holiday or a delay with my bank sending out the check or the post office had a delay. Either way it was one day late, the first time in over 2 years. I received a letter stating that I had a late fee of $20.92 and that they had reported me to the credit bureau. I called and spoke with customer service which apparently could not do anything to help me. I asked since this was a first occurrence and I've payed over every month plus it was delay that I wasn't even aware of that happened due to the fact that I pay through my bank if they could help me out in some way and they said no...just pay the late fee. I think this is unreasonable and not very " neighborhood friendly." This October when it's time to take out a new lease I definitely will reconsider my bank options.

So rude. You're making credit unions look bad.

Hellen and the crew go the EXTRA MILE. We opened a new business account. When they attempted to check my credit, there was a “freeze”. Frozen from too many incorrect attempts or, a credit lock ? After numerous attempts to rectify the problem, at home and trips back. Hellen took control. After an unprecedented amount of time with the credit bureau we found they (the bureau) had a typo on my Social Security number. The credit bureau apologized, and; that there was an error on their end. It took dedication and persistence to get it corrected. Now we can commence our new adventure. Thanks Kim, Eric,Hellen and Brian (mgr) for the extra attention and dedication. Did I mention, our previous business bank told us they couldn’t help us, until we found the problem. You go HVFCU - our hometown bank ❤️👍🏻

The HVFCU Crew always makes me feel welcome when I visit with my Guiding Eyes puppy, Gifford. We really like both the Lagrange and Hopewell branches for their efficiency and friendliness.

The worst upgrade on the new mobile app and it’s technical support & implementation. HELLO if something is working, don’t fix it! What waste of union members money spent on this!
