Fantastic jewelry repair service! The owner Tony and his son David run an honest family business. Tony did a great job fixing and resizing my wife's engagement ring after it got bent out of shape. The pricing was very reasonable but what was really impressive was the quick turnaround. They estimated it would take a week (in time for our anniversary) but actually got it done the same day. How's that for service! Thank you very much!

I went there yesterday for gifts. I was looking for a watch and left buying more. The items are so well cared for. The owner mike is amazingly helpful and nice 👍 I definitely will recommend it if you want to get a great gift for someone😃

This is absolutely the Best place to sell any of your jewelry you don’t use anymore or just want to upgrade as they give the best deals around! I have been everywhere and I never had a better experience. Nor did anyone give me close to what they did. The staff is super knowledgeable in everything and very helpful. This the best pawn Shop I every been to. They give me exactly what I ask for anytime I come in to pawn something such as my necklace, laptop,etc... not to mention they give u plenty of time to pick up ur thing. I've started emptying my closets, and realized I could potentially sell some things here. For the first time, I sold some unused jewelry. The second time, I sold additional jewelry as well as a camera. Overall, I found the experience very pleasant and satisfying. The staff I encountered were always friendly and informative of their prices. If I find more things to get rid of with the instilled powers of Marie Kondo, I'd consider stopping by again. Their prices are competitive when compared to other similar establishments. PS - You can go to sleep now. Thanks for your assistance during my visits.

I really had to take the time out to show appreciation for excellent service. This is the most customer friendly place I have been to in chicago . The quality and price to value is owsome. The staff takes time with you and go through your needs the qaulity of there goods are excellent. They take time off in ensure that the quality is at its best. I am a small cobtractor and that's basically whrew I buy all my tools and never once did I have to return anything faulty . I can consider them an asset to my progress here in Chicago. I have never had a good experience with Pawn Shops nd my general overview has always been negative...until I went to Howard Jewelry and Loan. The staff are always courteous and Richard has proved time and time again that his value system and integrity are intact and he always goes above and beyond to help customers. This pawn shop has extensive knowledge of goods and is the only place that offered a fair and reasonable amount when I took items there. As far as I am concerned Chicago only has one pawn brokerage company and that's Howard Jewelry and Loan and I will continue to use them and refer my friends to them.

Sold my Epiphone Firebird to David and could not have asked for a more fair, thorough, and wonderful process. Knew what he was looking at and was upfront about everything beginning to end — no lowballs or shenanigans ! Will definitely be back as they do good family-run business and have an excellent inventory of marvels.

Stopped in 30 minutes before close. We were asked before entry, why we were there. Ok...i understand safety is important. We said we wanted to look at cameras, my husband is a photographer. We were buzzed in and made to feel like we could ONLY look at the one camera in the store. I, on the other hand, was there to look at the jewelry and the bikes. When i walked over to the display case, the staff was putting the jewelry away. I was quickly shoo-ed away. There was no pause in stopping, no kind words to ask what i was interested in, no customer service at all. I work as a retail manager and would never treat people the way were treated. We walked out confused, insulted and thinking our money wasn't wanted. I'll never return.

On a very cold Chicago day, I decided to step into this shop to sell some jewelry I no longer used. After reading the reviews myself, I wanted to see if their service was as great as people had described. I stepped in there and I was taken back by how organized the shop was, how clean it was, and how attentive the VERY good looking, young, gentleman was with me. Two years after my divorce I was finally ready to sell my wedding ring. I went to 6 different places and this shop gave the best price. Well above the competition. They even took the time to explain how they arrived at the price. Very fair. I will definitely return if I decide to sell another piece.

Even when I pushed for prices they treated me with respect and patience. I love personalized rare pieces and when I came to this store I was glorified at all the beautiful pieces. The service was exceptional. I have been looking for a snowflake yellow gold necklace for over a 2 years now when I asked him and explained to him exactly what I was looking for, I came back in 2 weeks later to pick it up and it was perfect. Everything I imagined it would be I'm overall very pleased with Howard Jewelry and Loan and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for jewelry or a small loan.
