DO NOT USE HONDA FINANCIAL SERVICES! They are far from being military friendly and have been the WORST mistake. They REFUSE to let me sell the vehicle- I bought the vehicle and then a couple months later we received orders to go overseas to Germany. It took me nearly two months to convince them to give me a permission to ship letter. Finally just weeks before leaving they did. Then, a rock hit my windshield two weeks before our PCS. Due to the shortage, all estimates for it to be fixed was 4 months. I left the car in the states to be fixed. Fast forward 7 months, still NO ONE can fix it. In Germany the estimated wait time was 2 months. I pay $3,000 to ship it here privately. The week my windshield was supposed to be replaced, the auto shop calls and say the windshield never came in and it won’t be until OCTOBER. It has already been 10 months of me being unable to drive my vehicle. I’m not waiting 6 more. So I decide to sell me vehicle. The military base here requires me to have a simple statement from the lien holder that says I can sell my vehicle. I called Honda Financial Services and they say they don’t do the permission to sell unless I’m leasing, but they provide me with a 10 day pay off. I find out I’m absolutely required to have the permission to sell, so I call again and they REFUSE to give me the statement. The said someone should have told me that I’m not allowed to sell my vehicle. WHY DOES IT MATTER TO THEM?!? They get their money either way! And why did they just give me the pay off letter days ago knowing I’m going to sell, then say I can’t?!? So here I am, stuck with a vehicle that cannot pass inspection and I haven’t driven in nearly a year and they REFUSE to let me sell it.

We overpaid our payoff on September 9, 2021. The check was written in the amount on $13,348.00. The balance owed was$1,348. We have tried unsuccessfully to get our money. We have gotten nothing but promises.

Worst company. Hoping their business is shuttered in this time of crisis. Stop paying bills to this sham of a corporation so they know how it feels to be on the other side of the rainbow. Ambulance chasers of the car industry. In addition, cars are inferior. Buy American made cars which are by far much more superior.

The issue I am having is that my leased car was totaled and when I called Honda I was told that I had gap insurance and that I only had to pay for the deductible $1000. I even checked on your website and it says that all leased cars have gap insurance. A couple of weeks later I received a bill with a much higher amount ~$2,400, so I called Honda and was told that my leased car did not have gap insurance but some other similar type insurance (which the customer service lady called a gift) and that it was only covering $400 out of the difference between the amount I owe and the amount of the car insurance check, because my car had a lot of miles on it. I think this is unfair to advertise something you guys don’t have and charge me such a high amount specially because I was going to refinance this car at the end of the lease.

Paid off our lease in April, sent all the documents in to them the first week of May. They didn't tell us that the documents were incorrect until I called about not getting the title in July. We sent another set of documents in per the updates they requested to the address on their website. Called in again in September to check in; still hadn't received anything from them. Apparently, the website is "incorrect" and they needed to be sent to an address I can't even find on their site. We have now had to get documents notarized 3 times - hoping they will finally release the title after this.... never did I think that after paying an organization tens of thousands of dollars it would be this difficult to get some paperwork done.

DO NOT, I repeat NOT, buy a Honda through their financial services. Get your own financing. First of all they made a ton of inquiries on my credit that made my score drop more than necessary. They have terrible costumer service. They didn't notify us we were late on our payment of 2 months, due to a bank problem with the transfer and only contacted me by phone after we were 60 days late. No mail notifications were sent. Before we could come up with the money, they reposesed our car less then a week after and didn't give us a chance to catch up payments and pay fee. At thatpoint with low credit score we couldnt refinance. Instead they auctioned off the car 10 days later. Honda cars are good, but STAY AWAY from their financial services at any cost.

Customer service is terrible and extremely rude. Honda received a bogus ticket from NYC and paid it on my behalf, admitting guilt for me which prevented me from being able to dispute it. I then received the ticket and bill in my mailbox 3+ months later, telling me I had 10 days to pay it. Long story short, the ticket wasn't even for my car and in the end Honda essentially told me to go F* my self and that I would owe them 150$. Worst experience ever. Opened a complaint with the BBB for shady business practices. Will never lease another Honda.

Waiting in queue for “37 minutes” and 1 hour and 5 minutes later I get disconnected. Dial back in, now a “”55 minute” wait time. Freaking ridiculous! Especially knowing there are automated systems that can keep you in line and call you back. Really, waiting 2 hours for a freaking pick-up!!

Got in hold for almost more than 45-50 minutes to talk to customer service personal and couldn’t even talk. Called the dealer as well couldn’t get any help. Looks like they focus more on sales rather than service of existing customers.
