    DO NOT USE HONDA FINANCIAL SERVICES! They are far from being military friendly and have been the WORST mistake. They REFUSE to let me sell the vehicle- I bought the vehicle and then a couple months later we received orders to go overseas to Germany. It took me nearly two months to convince them to give me a permission to ship letter. Finally just weeks before leaving they did. Then, a rock hit my windshield two weeks before our PCS. Due to the shortage, all estimates for it to be fixed was 4 months. I left the car in the states to be fixed. Fast forward 7 months, still NO ONE can fix it. In Germany the estimated wait time was 2 months. I pay $3,000 to ship it here privately. The week my windshield was supposed to be replaced, the auto shop calls and say the windshield never came in and it won’t be until OCTOBER. It has already been 10 months of me being unable to drive my vehicle. I’m not waiting 6 more. So I decide to sell me vehicle. The military base here requires me to have a simple statement from the lien holder that says I can sell my vehicle. I called Honda Financial Services and they say they don’t do the permission to sell unless I’m leasing, but they provide me with a 10 day pay off. I find out I’m absolutely required to have the permission to sell, so I call again and they REFUSE to give me the statement. The said someone should have told me that I’m not allowed to sell my vehicle. WHY DOES IT MATTER TO THEM?!? They get their money either way! And why did they just give me the pay off letter days ago knowing I’m going to sell, then say I can’t?!? So here I am, stuck with a vehicle that cannot pass inspection and I haven’t driven in nearly a year and they REFUSE to let me sell it.

    Worst experience ever. Leased a 2021 vehicle with them and it was stolen. They made the process even more of a nightmare. Customer service is terrible. Every agent gives different information regarding the case.They did not cooperate with the insurance company and dragged the process out for four months after the vehicle was stolen. Four months have gone by insurance paid them and I have yet to receive my refund from over payment.I regret purchasing from them.

    I recently paid off the car loan serviced by Honda Financial. I am trying to reach a live agent to inform them that I want the title sent to my new address. I tried to do it online but for some reason the system will not let me do it. This is the second week of my trying to call and reach a person instead of the automatic system. I have gotten absolutely no where because I can't reach a real person. Honda Financial your customer service should be revamped to really service the customers.

    Terrible experience. I pay off lease and now in trouble with title, because was filled wrong from Honda financial. Sorry to say, but it will be my last Honda.

    Awful! I have called 3 times to get my lien release letter, only to be told twice it would be done. Nothing happened! On the third try was told that I had to call an entirely different number. Who trains these people? Horrible..horrible..horrible. I feel sorry for anyone that has to deal with this company. This may make me to never buy a Honda again, and I've bought five in my life time.

    HONDA FOR SUCH A BIG COMPANY, VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE ACTION TAKEN WHEN A PROBLEM NEEDS IMMEDIATE RESOLUTION. I’VE CALL NOW FOR THE LAST 3 WEEK AT LEAST TWICE A WEEK TRYING TO RESOLVE AN ISSUE WITH A PAYMENT THAT WAS MADE AND IT SEEMS THAT NO ONE CARE TO CORRECT. I’VE BEEN TOLD THAT A SUPERVISOR WOULD CONTACT ME AND STILL THE ISSUE HAS NOT BEEN RESOLVED. BIG COMPANY WITH BIG NAME AND NO ONE CAN GET THIS PROBLEM CORRECTED IN A TIMELY MANNER? I ALSO WORK FOR A BIG COMPANY WITH A BIG NAME AND SOME ISSUES CAN BE CORRECTED WITH A STROKE OF KEY NO NEED TO WAIT WEEKS TO CORRECT SOMETHING THAT WILL ONLY TAKE A COUPLE OF STROKES ON A KEYPAD. IT’S ALSO A SHAME THAT NO ONE THERE CAN GIVE YOU THE NAME OF THE CEO OF THE COMPANY OR A PHONE NUMBER WHERE TO CONTACT THEM, NOT LIKE HE WOULD ANSWER THE PHONE DIRECTLY – THAT’S WHY THERE ARE SECRETARIES FOR. I AM SO UPSET THAT IT TAKES EVERYTHING I HAVE NOT TO TAKE THIS OUT WITH THE CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE BUT, THEY SHOULD HAVE MORE INFORMATION THAN WHAT IS BEEN GIVEN AND DIFINATELY A SUPERVISOR SHOULD BE AVAILABLE TO SPEAK TO ANYBODY WANTING OR NEEDING TO SPEAK TO ONE. I TRULY HOPE THIS ISSUE IS RESOLVED SOON, I AM ABOUT TO LOSE IT.

    I was in a head on collision going 40mph and my airbag didn’t deploy. The other driver drove the wrong direction into my lane. Her car was totaled. My Civic had almost $8,000 in damages and has been in the shop for over a month waiting a replacement seatbelt. No one can give us any idea when the seatbelt may arrive. I called Honda Financial because I shouldn’t have to pay them for a car I can’t drive. I spoke with a girl named Esther who was trying to help me and was going to talk to her supervisor. We got disconnected, and when I called back another girl told me that I couldn’t speak with a supervisor but one could call me back in 1-2 business days. I have a very hard time believing that, especially since the first girl Esther was already trying to help me before we got disconnected. The second girl hung up on me when I wanted to record our conversation. Turns out they can record a conversation but the customer can’t. Esther did call me back to say she was waiting to speak with her supervisor still. I haven’t heard anything since. Honda Financial will not call me back. Why should I have to pay Honda Financial when Honda Motors can’t make a seatbelt? Absolutely horrible customer service.

    The customer service is SO BAD that I will never finance through Honda again. 100% robot call. No representatives. The options are limited and the lady interrupts herself to tell you that she didn’t understand you even if you make the slightest sound (my cat jumping onto the sofa set this off) Eventually you’ll end up with her telling you you’ve exceeded the maximum amount of tries before you’ve even selected your first option. Absolutely awful. If I could give it zero stars I could.

    Trying to pay off my loan has been a nightmare, and Honda’s rules during this car shortage has been a bit out of hand. I currently cannot trade in my vehicle to any dealership besides Honda.. all I want to do is get away from Honda and Honda Financial Services though. They won’t even endorse a check to pay off my vehicle at the moment. There’s absolutely no give on their end.

    Absolutely the worst credit/finance department I’ve ever dealt with. First missed payment in three years (always early and above minimum) and the company dropped my $23K credit line to $500 over my $10,800 balance. The move screwed me out of almost 30 points on my credit score. Completely merciless, ruthless savages. They are a prime example of every single thing wrong with the credit industry. Stay away from Citi financial and stay even farther away from Honda financial. Pitiful excuse for a national company.
