Everyone was very friendly and very helpful at the branch. They took care of our needs in a timely manner. Very happy with the service we have received so far. We are glad we chose this bank upon our move to Waynesville.

Everyone is so friendly and helpful. They know what they are doing and have been able to help me every time I have been there. They are also good at giving me financial advice but the thing that always impresses me is their friendly spirit! They made me feel like I had been banking there forever on my very first visit and every one since! I highly recommend Home Trust Bank in Waynesville, NC!

HomeTrust has been our bank since moving back to NC over five years ago. We have been very pleased with the friendly staff and convenient location from the beginning. As time has passed, they have not ceased to aid us with any problems or questions we’ve had. Recently, I contacted the local branch concerning a charge I noticed on my account. I was clearly in error, but without question was offered a one-time courtesy waiver of this fee since I am new to mobile banking. Thank you, HomeTrust, for being there for our family faithfully! Please keep up the good customer relations!

All tellers are great and super helpful except the new one, she is very short with people and talks to you like you're an idiot when you ask a simple question about an account. If you want people to be nice to you, treat them with respect. Management seems to be kinda in between. Haywood residents are better off going to the one in Clyde if you need to do anything more than cash a check, make a deposit or withdrawl.

Do not try and get a mortgage through this bank. They charged me $80 just to pull my credit report, far more than a credit report actually costs, and then they charged me $500 for an appraisal and never provided any appraisal document in the end because the appraisal was not completed. I was given a partial refund, but still spent $225 and didn't end up with any kind of appraisal document, only a loan rejection letter because the house didn't pass their requirements. They were very hard to get in touch with and very unwilling to work with me on any sort of compromise over the appraisal fee.

Someone named Christina helped me on the phone the other day at the HomeTrust branch in Waynesville, NC. She was on top of everything and helped me so much! She was so knowledgeable and helpful. Wonderful to get help from an employee like that! Great experience.

Every time.... always an issue. Sad, I chose this bank because it’s a local one. Big mistake, I run a business that is halted because of negligence on the banks part. Manager isn’t here when I’m here. And everyone of my checks being deposited needs to be cleared by a manager (leading to much time wasted) I’ve had empty promises made that they will up my limit on remote deposit which is not true and not possible. Sad thing is that the mangers are super nice. But the tellers are not able to do the job they are hired to do. Leading them to be frustrated they can’t help and leading to me having to make another trip for the same deposit. (Unless I would like to wait 7 business days with a hold on a check) Very annoying. :( I’m done now. Unfortunately will have to change my banking to a larger one where I don’t run into such challenges.

Home Trust in Waynesville is a Excellent bank! I have been banking here for 11 years. I have both my personal account and business account here. The tellers are nice but they have been a few bad apples over the years but they didn't last long. Angie (loan dept), Angela (bank teller) and Sherri (accounts) are GREAT! Sherri opened my accounts 11 years ago and till this day she is still very attentive, friendly and helpful with any of my banking needs. Angie has handled all of my loans and they have always been processed quickly. Angela is the best bank teller there, she goes out of her way to make sure you are quickly waited on and she always keeps you updated on new offers and new options that the bank may have. All in all, Angie, Angela and Sherri all 3 make sure my banking needs are met quickly and are beneficial to me. They are the ones who make Home Trust a great place to bank.

Friendly and hospitality staff is willing to help always a smile on everyone's face and greeting at the door offered free beverage of coffee or water. Never have been at location and not been properly felt like family highly recommend this Bank to start out opening a new account or referring friends and family

We were unable to cash a check from our boss due to am expired license, we were trying to find out if it could be signed to me. I didn't have an account and the manager and teller didn't even ask me if I wanted to open one. I wouldn't suggest using this bank.
