The first time I came here, everyone was friendly. Had no problems with my transaction. This time, they don't know their own policies. I was told one thing, then minutes later, told something completely different by the same person. Elizabeth was condescending. I can't understand not wanting to do thousands of dollars worth of business. A bank should be capable of cashing a check, or at least sticking to their own policy of cashier's checks. Deplorable service. Rude, impersonal, and I suspect liars simply to be difficult. Banks shouldn't strong arm you into having an account or be difficult if you don't wish to open one. If the customer meets the requirements, it should be easy follow through. Save your time. An entire hour and all I got was rudeness that I certainly didn't deserve.

I wish I could give this bank 0 stars. It has switched from Simplicity Bank to HomeStreet Bank over the weekend. During this time I could not access my bank account online t check funds. I have not been able to access my account since 4/9 Thursday, it is now 4/13 Monday and I was locked out of my account. I have tried calling customer service but the number does not work. I emailed them this morning at 8am and 6 hours later I still have not heard back. Very frustrating. I will be going down there today to close out my account and sign up with a different bank.

I wish I could give them 0 stars .. I went to withdraw a large sum of money from my account and was told they had no money ... unbelievable smh

The staff in Downey and Pasadena have always been very kind and accommodating to me and more importantly, my father! On numerous occasions have taken down the walls that other banks put up! My father will be 91 in a few days and remembers the good ol days of community banking where you were more than an account....you truly were an asset! I know banking has changed with impersonal online attention. When you do call, you don't know even know where you are calling and they definitely do not know who you are, or your needs....you are a number! Not at HomeStreet , Simplicity, Kaiser Federal....have been with them for over 15 years! Thank You HomeStreet for the service and especially taking care of my father with the service of yesteryear ! THE WORST - I wish I could give them minus 5 stars. I am also a Kaiser Fed/Simplicity Bank shareholder/customer, could not access online acct, telephone acct - NOTHING and on hold for Customer Service literally for HOURS. Absolutely deplorable. Finally got through on phone only to be told I cannot close my account over the phone, has to be in writing via fax. Just faxed it.....

Love the bank and all of the beautiful ladies that work there. Very nice and respectful. Always willing to help you. Keep up the good job ladies.

Very difficult to contact unable to do business on phone app or when i call in person seriously ready to pull all my money out.
