OUTSTANDING family owned/operated service, at a surprisingly great price and did so in remarkable time! When other nearby auto service shops, were concerned with closing down early for rain or too busy taking a 2 hour lunch, Haskins had me in, out, and back on the road in under a half hour from my (last minute) phone call. In all honesty, I don't think anyone else within the 30 miles i searched could have (or would have) turned my unfortunate situation into a seamless transaction with perfect results....well frickin done!

Haskins is a friendly mechanic shop. The staff there explain what's wrong with your car with expertize and in layman's terms. They offer good advice and will keep your car running for years to come. My favorite employee there is Chief, who is Haskin's dog. He keeps you company while you wait for your car!

When I first moved to Mathews, VA from Washington DC, I had no repair shop that I could trust. I tried many in the area. Haskins started their shop shortly after and I thought I would give them a try. They moved their shop from Richmond to here and I am glad they did. I have a 2006 Mustang GT and was particular about how it was maintained. Ever since, they have given me excellent service at a resonable price. Their prices is better than what you can get in a big city. Whenever I bring my car in for a particular service they do the job right and do not try to sell me on additional work that doesn't need to be done. You know what I mean. Haskin and his wife Leigh are a perfect team. Leigh always spends whatever time you need to dicuss your concerns and makes sure things are right before you leave. Its hard to find a machanic you can trust these days, but I'm glad I did.

Loved these guys ... who would have figured there would be a "deer hit drawing" for the repairs needed for hitting a deer? Buy mine was a "deer hit" & I was in the contest. Such is rural life and the deer fared much worse than my car. The folks at were amazing both at taking care of my car, but also in working with my insurance company, as the actual repairs needed were much more than the original adjuster had allowed! I couldn't speak more highly of the service I received and the repairs done on my car.

Wonderful folks to deal with. Honest, hard working. We drive all the way from Hanover to get work done. Their dog is nice too... 😁
