Pam Ladd a loan processor made a careless mistake that affected our company. But we are all human we make mistakes my complaint is how she handle the situation afterwards. Very unprofessional and rude. I hope her day gets better or find something she enjoys doing as a carrer.

I am Highly dissatisfied with the loan officer *** Bob Hedrick! *** Our first scores were Mine 615, my husband's was 630 (via phone). A few days later our scores were mine 591, my husband's was 626! That's a big difference, when nothing has changed, and we have not done anything but apply for this loan! Something is not adding up! Now our scores are lower than before because he pulled our scores! *** Request another loan officer***

I was excited to be able to deposit on the new atm however it did not give me the option as in if it was the old one I donāt understand why if it clearly did have the deposit cash slot

Customer service is an absolute joke. My husband applied for an auto loan and Ashley Rosewell in the loan department ran my husbandās fatherās credit by mistake even though my husband provided OUR account number. They have the same name (Sr/Jr situation). The quoted interest rate came back higher than we were expecting so we didnāt go through with the initial vehicle my husband wanted. It wasnāt until we were purchasing a different vehicle that Ashley was finally asking specific questions about the account that she realized her massive mistake of running the wrong personās credit. Her and Cathy Latholais are beyond difficult to get ahold of. They donāt respond to emails or answer their phones unless you threaten to get higher management involved. Not to mention, apparently all GCEFCU customerās debit cards werenāt working a couple of months ago due to a server issue yet we were never notified. My husband kept trying to fill up with gas and his card was declined over and over regardless of having funds in our account. They finally deemed it as fraudulent activity and it was when he called to see what was going on that he was informed of the server issue and no debit cards were working. There was absolutely NO communication from GCEFCU to us customers about this issue. We are incredibly disappointed in the customer service weāve received over the past few months. We are moving our finances over to a completely different institution soon.

And okay Bank the upside is I get paid two days early. Downside is I am never approved for any loans. Iāve been with the bank for years but refused even a small loan of $200. Customer service is OK if I have to make large transactions I do have to plan to be there more than three hours. Once I requested a travelers check from the ATM and was told to go inside to pick the check up. Needless to say instead of the representative saying the printer was broke went back-and-forth to the printer trying to fix it and had me sitting there three hours before being told the printer is broke and if I would like I can pick up at the Pasadena store which is 45 minutes away from the store. This is supposed to be an educatorās credit Union. However I do not see any service that I am approved of as an educator.

Updated January 2022: My review went from 5 stars to 3 because the credit union no longer has a 24-hour ATM available at the Pasadena location. I even went to their website but thereās no information about the reason for taking out the ATM (see pic) nor any reasonable alternative. I was already frustrated because the ATM could not accept cash deposits as other banks/CUs do (e.g., Chase) but removing the ATM altogether is unacceptable and poor customer service. Original review: I've been a member for 4 years now. They are very friendly and have good hours. They take good care of their members.
Shaun, the machine was broken into and hauled off. We will be replacing it but need to do some construction to prevent future attempts. We do have an ATM in the foyer of the office available 24/7 and a drive thru ATM at the Fairview shopping center at the corner of Fairmont and Beltway 8. It is a stand alone drive thru ATM next to the AT&T store. Also, when we replace it, the machine should be able to take cash deposits. We apologize for the inconvenience.

The service my parents received from Kirsten Gibson Villarreal was excellent. After contacting the office on several occasions they were unable to speak to a loan officer while theirs was out of town. Kirsten stepped in to help us through the process and was extremely patient and demonstrated an elevated level of professionalism. My parents are seniors and were being taken advantage of at the dealership and Kirsten was concerned and empathetic remaining on the phone with us through the entire transaction. We want to sincerely thank you Kirsten for your amazing service!

I have been a member with the credit union for over 10 years and although Iāve had exceptional service I will say itās slowly declining. I donāt think itās the employees themselves itās just the lack in numbers. Youāve recently expanded your consumer base statewide but still have the same amount of employees. Specifically in your contact center, when I used to call for questions about my account or services Iād never be on hold and if I was it was for less than a minute. Now sometimes Iām on hold for 10 minutes or longer depending on the time of the day. I can only assume itās because you now have more members which makes sense but if you had more representatives to answer the phones it would probably avoid having to hold for so long to speak with someone. Other than that I love the place but if this continues I may have to look into other credit unions.

Getting ready to leave for Marine Boot camp and go serve the country. When i call to have my car payments paused (Note: I have a federal document that states they have to pause the payments, its illegal if they dont and im out of time to try to take this to court) they tell me they dont pause payments and they dont have to no matter what paperwork i have. I was only given the option of reviewing my interest rate (which does nothing because my interest rate is already super low) or basically just saying screw my credit. There were no other options no matter what I asked. Currently refinancing through another bank that will work with active service members and I will be closing my account when I come back 0/10 do not reccomend

Excellent customer service! My mom passed away and I had to close her account. I was emotional. Imanol Rodriguez was extremely comforting and professional in taking care of my needs. I appreciate the services provided by GCEFCU and how they treated my Mom when she decided to join. She was treated with respect and courtesy each time she came in to complete a transaction. I am a member and I would not bank anywhere else. Thank you GCEFCU for being a personal, family bank.
