We had an absolutely phenomenal experience with Paul Perkins and his team at Guild Mortgage. We had to switch loan types (conventional to NA) two weeks out from closing and they, through their incredible hard work, made it happen without missing a beat. If we ever buy another house, I wouldn't work with anyone but Paul & his team and we are recommending him to all of our friends. If you care about attention to detail, thoughtful consideration of your financial needs, and thorough overview of loan options, Paul & his team should be your #1 choice.

We completely did this whole "house buying," thing backwards by finding the house before getting in touch with a Real Estate agent or Mortgage Planner. Luckily, my co-worker had given me his recommendation of contacting Lisa Pearce because of his recent house buying experience with her. Saw the house we liked Sunday on our first of 3 open houses, called Lisa for the first time Monday, Met with Lisa Tuesday, and had an offer on the table by Wed/Thurs. Lisa was very knowledgeable and a pro at explaining the ins and outs of how the process was going to go, how to shift money from here to there to get us a better rate, and check what program would be best for us. Katie, he assistant was wonderful as well to keep us informed on what needed to be done, as well as further process explanation and coordination. Both Lisa and Katie we're great with communication and letting us know where we were in the closing process. We highly, highly, highly recommend Lisa and her team for house buying, and We definitely will keep the recommendation chain going when I hear any of my friends thinking of buying a home! Did the job in the end, but had a few problems which became annoying after a while. To start - high fees (on the order of thousands of $$ when compared to other places). Paperwork was a hassle. I had to submit the same document and info to them several times. There were random sporadic issues with other paperwork (e.g. a signature was not collected or the title company didn't notify them , etc.) and it seemed like it was my job to straighten everything out. Read: they are thousands of $$ more than competition. Close date was a mess. I didn't learn my true close date until 3 days before closing. Their website is easy to use and they provided a lot of info, so the above probably could have been more forgiven if it weren't for one thing. I set up my auto-pay and online account a few weeks after closing. 1 day later I find my loan got sold to another lender. Really, before I could even make my very first mortgage payment??

I have used Tiffany for both my personal and professional lending needs. Every time it has been a smooth and thorough process. I appreciate her dedication and hard work on every transaction.

When you speak to them ask how much of your monthly loan payments are going towards princial vs interest.Be clear on where your monthly EMI go how much is going to principal and how much going to interest.Make sure max is going towards principal.

Lisa is the BEST! I would highly recommend working with her! My husband and I attended a 1st time home buyer class and have followed through with this whole 2 year process she helped us up our credit and gave us timelines to meet certain criteria's to be where we needed to be. She really truly cares for her clients and is so thoughtful in making sure all your needs are met she went above and beyond for us, constantly calling to check in and making sure we understood the whole process. For something like buying a home that seemed like an endless goal she made it possible for us! We are so truly appreciative for Lisa and her assistant Katie:) If you are looking to buy a home or gain knowledge on whats needed I 1000% recommend Lisa!

My experience with Guild was very positive. Paul and his team worked extremely hard and helped us in the every step in the closing process. Actually I was prepared to cancel a trip to Europe because we just bought a house unexpectedly, and needed time to close. Guild was so efficient and precise in every detail, that we actually closed the sale before the planned departure day. This has far exceeded my expectation.
