Tara was amazing. My wife and I were first-time home buyers using the VA loan. I was deployed overseas to the middle east when we started looking at houses. I was in 3 different countries in a completely different time zone and she was consistently able to make her schedule available to meet with me. Everything from professionalism, communication, kindness, and a tremendous work ethic was demonstrated by Tara. I felt well cared for as a vet. Tara actually cared. Bruce and his team took exceptional care helping us with our refinance. We were in the middle of a big remodel and was using our line of credit to pay for it. Curious about what he might suggest I called Bruce for advice. After speaking with him he was concerned that mortgage rates would most likely go up in early 2022 and that a cash out refinance might be the best option to lock in low rates and help us pay for the remodel. His strategy worked absolutely perfectly. We locked in a very, very low 15 year loan, got the cash to pay all the contractors, and avoided refinancing in April after rates had gone up 2%! His advice was invaluable and his team, as usual, was speedy and communicative throughout the entire process.

From the first conversation with Trey I knew we were set up for success. Terence with Remax Southern our agent for many years now referred us to him. He said he's the best! We didn't hesitate to give him a call. We moved back to Lexington from Conway; due to the market and other extenuating circumstances we needed to come in strong from a financial standpoint on our future home. Timing was everything and Trey knew this as well. We connected with Trey and felt an immediate sense of trust in his abilities with numbers and the best mortgage for us. He stuck with us to the very end and was always available to answer our questions along the way.

We worked with Trevor nearly three years ago when we purchased our house and he set us up with a USDA mortgage which was the best option for us at the time. As interest rates fell, we wanted to take advantage of refinancing and thought it would be easiest to stick with PennyMac who our mortgage had been transferred to. After a long lengthy process, sending the same documents over and over, it was determined we were no longer eligible to refinance with the USDA loan anyway due to income restraints which we could have been told months before when the process had started. We decided to contact Trevor again and he was incredibly prompt and quickly provided us with our options, better rates than we expected. After providing the necessary documents, the whole process only took a few weeks and was stress free. My only regret is not reaching out to Trevor in the first place.

They were efficient and on-task, helping to finish the process about 20 days earlier than the REPC due dates. I know it’s a business transaction, but I think they were heaven sent. 5 star for sure; this team stays on top of things and executes phenomenally; there was 1 hiccup I had with my property that I was totally unaware existed and the ladies were on top of it, they gathered the data that I needed to resolve the hiccup, I was able to resolve the hiccup but the open communication w/the team made my life great. I'm super busy working nights in a hospital crisis center and working pharmacy by day & trying to grab a few hrs sleep; so the ladies follow-up for someone like myself was absolutely needed. Once again Leighann came through. When we bought our home 18 months ago we use Leighann to purchase that home through Caliber. Since we purchased the home Leighann had changed companies to Guild. Caliber reached out to me about refinancing, which I did not think was worth it after 18 months. I decided to look into it. To make a long story short. Everything was good until the appraisal. The gentlemen that did my appraisal was not so easy to work with and was not familiar with homes in the New Holland market . The appraisal came back $12,000 more than I bought it for and we made multiple improvements. With advice from Greg Hostetter from Hostetter reality in New Holland I reached out to Leighann. Just like my first experience she killed it. Process was so much easier and I eliminated PMI and lowered my payment $200 a month with no money down. Thank you Leighann!!!

Noran at Guild was absolutely fantastic to work with! She took care to explain everything that was happening with my mortgage application. Even when she had already explained something to me, Noran was happy to go over it again when I didn't understand or felt unsure about the process. Noran always asked me if I had questions and how I was feeling along each step of the way, which I really appreciated. The last time I bought a house, I felt like my lender didn't have time for me. But I never felt that way with Noran! She responded quickly to emails and calls, and always made sure I knew she truly cared about my home buying experience. Do NOT use GUILD for your mortgage. I used to like Guild. Have had 3 mortgages with them. No longer. We auto pay our loan through our bank every month on the 10th of the month. Our loan states payments do not incur a late fee until the 15th. Guild's servicing has started calling multiple times a day starting on the 8th. I'll be telling everyone I know and every Real Estate agent I meet to steer their clients away from Guild.
