    Guardian Title Agency failed to communicate the process of paying off one of our credit cards at closing, causing my husband and I a late fee and damage to our credit. Normal practice is to overnight those funds or wire transfer them the day of closing. Guardian Title sent a check via STANDARD MAIL which caused a late fee on our credit card payment. They have not reached out to us to apologize nor remedy the situation. I would not recommend them to anyone.

    In 3.5 years of being in the business, this has been the worst customer service I have experienced as an agent from a title company. The office made several mistakes throughout our transaction. The final straw was the check they sent me off with made out incorrectly per the CDA they received from me almost a week in advance of closing. It has been 24 hrs and I have received no information on when they will be able to get me a correct check.
