WARNING !!!!!!! DO NOT BANK with Guardian Credit Union!!!!!! Your money will disappear and you won’t receive any logical explanation on where it went besides”that’s how our system is set up” My entire pay check is deposited here weekly But it never seems to fail that it will be charged 3,4,5,6,7 overdraft fees of $26 by the time it hit my account. They are scamming the American people out of money and it is going un noticed by many. There is no way you can have an account showing you have available funds to spend while showing the charges already posting and end up with an overdraft on everything even when you had the money available. I’m no mathematician but I know when something isn’t adding up right. People save yourselves a great deal of stress and worry while trying to live and pay your bills in an already hard economy and bank somewhere else, like Regions or Navy or one of those nice places !!!

Unethical practices. Their online banking is a joke. I'm always checking my account to make sure I have money but out of the blue I'm always overdrawn and being charged a fee for them covering charges. some transactions post immediately and some transactions take days to post and its done on purpose to confuse and keep you paying overdraft fees. For instance. if you make multiple small purchases then a big purchase, the big purchase will post first so you will continue to spend money you THINK is in the account only for it to post days later and have you overdrawn by hundreds. I have green dot prepaid card that only shows actual funds I have but a full fledged credit union cant do this? on top of that there is no conveniences at this bank. You have to fill out a slip to deposit funds, long lines, nonchalant bank tellers... the mobile app is missing a bunch of features you can only get by going on to a computer what's the point? what is this CU good for? I am currently searching for better options will be closing this account asap

I’m having a horrible experience with them so far with my checking account. I deposit all of my money into this account and can’t touch my money until a week later. People have bills and other business to handle, and I can’t have access to my money. Also, they didn’t send my debit card until three weeks later. Horrible

I really hate your company. Your branch took my 1400 hundred dollars. I really needed that to eat with and pay bills thanks to y'all im really screwed.

Might as well not bother going in this location on Fridays unless your ready to spend 30 min in line. They only have two tellers working on a Friday at 1:00

When I moved to Alabama I bought a new car and financed it through Guardian. The were a bit slow. Right when I was about to go with dealer financing they called me and I ended up going with Guardian. Fast forward to nearly two years later, it's time for my wife and I to buy our first home. My father, who has been in real estate for almost 30 years, recommended I go with a credit union. Why not go with Guardian since I'm an existing customer already? We walk into the closest guardian branch near us to talk to someone about a home loan. Come to find out, the banker says that they don't have an in house mortgage department and that we will have to call to speak to someone. Okay not a big deal. She tells us that she is emailing Ashley Tillery and that Ashley will be available in about 30 minutes and she will call us. Two and a half hours later we finally get a call. Ashley is not someone that should be dealing with mortgage applications. She's EXTREMELY rude and when the conversation was coming to an end she seemed ecstatic that the conversation was over. TERRIBLE customer service. We were told by Ashley that we would hear back from her in roughly a week or two regarding the application. Two weeks go by and nothing. I call her to find out the status and she says nothing has changed. Three weeks, four weeks, FIVE WEEKS...NOTHING. I started doing research on other banks and credit unions. My father talked to someone at Trustmark so I called David at Trustmark. He was delighted to be working with us, we gave him everything we needed to, and within a day and a half we got our pre-approval, submitted an offer, offer accepted and as of today 12/18/2020 we received the appraisal and are good to go. And as of today, 12/18/2020, nearly three months since we started the pre-approval process with Guardian, we have not heard a word from Ashley Tillery or anyone else over at Guardian Credit Union.

They need zero stars. My husband is a disabled veteran from the Navy and Army. We have been with Guardian for over 15 years. They use to be like family to us and they really seemed like Guardian angels from Heaven. But Jesus bless these people in charge now. They so heartless and cold. But thank you Father in Heaven that you are in charged and always have us covered. But if you want to deal with a bank who is all about the bottom line and cares nothing about there members then Guardian is the bank for you. As for me in these last days I think I will be safer putting my money in a hole in my parents back yard. But we praying for all the people who have to work and deal with these heartless corporations/companies.

Horrible! They hang up on me after asking me to hold while they get me info! That's extremely poor business practice and they expect me to wait 2 and a half days to continue when they put me on hold for 20 min then hang up! You can't do that to your customers! If this is how they treat customers who have never missed or late payment, EVER!, then maybe I'll just pack up and take my business elsewhere! This is how you lose business! Btw when pushing 2 On call to input account ID# to "Speed things up" they hang up on you right after saying "please hold for next available representative"! So I've wasted over 50 minutes of my day on BS like this!
