Being a first time buyer, I was contacted by someone from groves capital, from an online form I had filled out. I am giving an Honest review, I would’ve gave 1 star had the owner not reached out to me to apologize. However, My experience, was less than stellar. I had my credit pulled without consent, I was pushed to the side by another agent there cause “he just couldn’t get it to work, but maybe i should shop around.” Not the "If we can't do it, no one can! attitude the owner lives by. I went directly to my bank. Got my loan approved! Maybe it was just the individual, since I see alot of good reviews, but this was my experience.

Just completed my first refinance at Groves Capital with Cassandra Moreno leading the way. I was admittedly nervous and overwhelmed at first, but Cassandra made the WHOLE process super straight forward and easy. I don't usually leave reviews, but she's been such an outstanding and patient resource throughout this whole experience. I got a great rate and some savings coming my way, just like she said I would. Kristin Howard Kristin Howard, is the BEST!.......I went through 2 mortgage companies before I found this jewel of the mortgage industry.....if you are looking for someone to get it right the first time...then Kristin Howard is the BOMB!!!!, she will keep you updated every step of the way. Now let me tell you about the two mortgage companies I had working for me in refinancing my home, before I found Kristin Howard. The first mortgage company was Quicken.....no luck at all, first we went VA....that’s on me, because I thought being a veteran I would get an okay deal....well I didn’t, because I was not disabled....once I realized that, I wanted a different program....the loan officer stated this is the best we have....well the closing costs with Quicken was double digits...so they had no other program for me (REALLY!!!!). Well bottom line they kept my appraisal funds that I paid them and they sent me 10% of what I sent them....they never performed the appraisal. ....so this happened in Mar 2021, and I am still working to get the rest of my funds refunded. The reason Quicken sent me 10% of the appraisal was after I notified my credit card company about the transaction. Now ,lets get to the worst experience I ever had with a refi....THE WILD WILD WEST OF FINANCE, Amerisave! this name should be Amerispend, OR AMERI-WASTE YOUR TIME.... the loan officer never knew a cell phone existed. Now my application was dated JUNE 2021..this mortgage company is wonderful at asking for the same documents repeatedly...I just know this company thinks it’s in the mortgage business, maybe it's the loan officer. I don't know, but I am not partial to a name like Rebecca after this experience. Well, we finally got around to an appraisal, remind you this was before the cell phone existence theory. Okay, the appraiser came out and did the appraisal of my property.....I knew something was wrong when he listed on the appraisal that my back porch was an office and my Florida room was a porch...my value was short over 30 thousands dollars....well that’s no problem because I was asking for a loan to value of around 62%.....easy loan....but why give me a mental disorder, no phone calls, double request of documents.......now its October 2021....too much drama!!!!!! I backed up and took another DRINK!!!....Then I received this wonderful call....first I thought it was a joke! Kristin Howard, stated to me I’m sorry you had to go through that, and she went on to say if you want to go at it again give me a call; something to that effect........the difference was between NIGHT and DAY......when the Lord said “JOY COMES IN THE MORNING”....Brothers and Sisters you better believe it........this woman took my application and ran.......she stated I don't know why your loan could not get approved, not only did she finish this application, but used the appraisal that Amerispend performed.....I can't say enough about this woman. If you need someone on your side, Kristin Howard is truly a go to loan officer....worth hers and your weight in nothing but GOLD!!!!!! JAY STONE January 2022

Glenn Paris via Groves Capital worked very hard to get the 1st cash-out refinancing done, when other mortgage brokers aren’t willing to do the work once they realize the work involve in the verification process involving me owning multiple rentals, other than your typical W-2 applicant. The 2nd loan was easier since he did all the work prior. We are now looking at additional loans and purchases which to Glenn’s credit was due to his hard work and kept his professionalism during my rant at Underwriter’s lack of discretion in meeting FannieMae’s guidelines and not to mention the Appraiser’s low-ball value during the first loan. But Glenn hung in there, on the first loan, the second loan was a breeze, the third maybe even easier and others I’m contemplating.
