Hands down, the best customer service I have ever experienced! From the moment I walked in to the very end, Vito (sp?) was friendly, knowledgeable and just a joy to work with. I came in to see about the possibility of modifying an engagement ring. He gave me his undivided attention, provided the options, was totally transparent about what could/not be achieved and gave me a reasonable quote. The cherry on top was when he gave me jewelry cleaner as a wedding gift after I shared I was getting married in a few weeks :) thank you, Vito!!

I am writing a review in behalf of my cousin ROMEO F. who bought a 14k Yellow Gold ring with 2 carat diamonds. I can say it was a very straightforward and splendid experience buying jewelry from this establishment. The price was beyond reasonable and we commend Big Tony for giving us a enjoyable experience in trying out their jewelry and helping us find the perfect ring that my cousin bought. We also thank Ray for giving us the best possible price for the ring as we talked it over and thankful we were given a GOOD DEAL for this ring. I have been going to Granters for years. I moved away so it had been a minute sense I was there but when my mother recently passed away I wanted a ring in memory of her and that was the first place I looked. I found a ring, bought it and they sized it for me, No matter who had been working I have always been shown with total respect. I would always go there before I would go anywhere else.

I came in for the first to Cranters to get a loan on a piece of jewelry that I ow , I ask for an amount and the clerk surprised me with an extra $100 more , I am so pleased to come do business with Granters what Garrett if I am not mistaken did it makes a difference when we are in economic needs thank you guys , pleasured doing business, I am not going back to the old place that use to do business with

These folks are stellar! Always fair and more than reasonable! I have been patronizing them for decades and that entails both stores! They are trustworthy and personable. Give them a try for sales! You'll be surprised at the bargain prices!

If first impressions are lasting ones, then Granters made a sterling one. Dropped off necklace that was repaired perfectly and scored a darling pair of silver earrings. I was helped by Rex, who was patient and professional and knowledgeable and downright pleasant to talk to.

Granters always gives you enough time to pay back your loan & if you still don’t have the money they will give you even more time you just have to communicate your situation & they will help you out. They are more than fair & they give you more on your loan if you are a repeat borrower. They helped me out of a few jams during Covid 19 & I’m very thankful for them being there.

Cute but yet impressive little pawn shop. Tucked right in el Cerrito. I was shopping not pawning which colored the entire dynamic of my interaction, I'm certain. Staff was consice (meandering towards curt), decent , kind, but patient most of all with my indecisiveness lol. I wish they could have had a little bit of a better deal bracket, they were out of gift bags/boxes when i shopped, but overall I had a good experience! though, one of my rings lost a stone immediately after I left with it, I would totally shop there again.

Local family owned jewelry with other lovely items. The owners are second generation and the sons of the founder. The two brothers are kind and very helpful. This place should be considered as a tourist attraction site because I didn’t want to get out of there! I highly recommend Granters.

Great guys! I have junk laying around in my house and it’s nice to know there’s a local place that’s interested in my old junk! The text by phone option they have to send pictures and see if they’re interested is really convenient, that way I’ll know if it’s worth the trip or not!

EVERYTHING I’D HOPED TO EXPERIENCE DURING MY FIRST VISIT TO THIS BUSINESS. I am from Marin County. When times were tight my mother Patricia RIP would take her treasured gold/diamond jewelry to San Rafael Loan on 4th st. Unfortunately they have closed after decades in San Rafael so I did an internet search looking for the family owned/honest broker feeling and found just that with my visit here across the bridge in El Cerrito. I did not expect to walk in the door crying but I did. The staff were WARM-FRIENDLY-KNOWLEDGABLE and most importantly HONEST. And as a bonus Vito (employee) knew the father and son who owned San Rafael Loan. Alex helped me and was patient with my anxiety and tears and I was very surprised at what I was offered as a loan; it being much higher than I had anticipated. Things have been difficult since the pandemic began and it’s a nice feeling to know there are business’s/good folks who are thinking of community and the people. My mothers treasures are safe here and that’s what matters the most to me. Thank you GRANTERS.

Probably the best pawn operation in the area. This is a pawnshop with the coolest technology. All their products are online. I can shop, add to my cart and pay for items from my house. Also, I can make layaway and pawn finance charge payments from my phone. I'm saving tons of money not driving at $4.50 a gallon. Thanks, Vito. Your shop ROCKS

Walked in right before closing. After seeing an instagram ad. And they knew me instantly after I told them what I was looking for. Down to earth mom and pop shop and on top of that the quality on the chain looked absolutely stunning like seriously near brand new as opposed to other pawn shops. They also offer a layaway option at zero percent interest within 10 months. Honestly that's pretty impressive . Thanks granters!
