Where to start?.. let’s just say my realtor pleaded with me to swap to a local lender versus having a Vetted VA lender and I would not budge. But am I glad I stayed with the Go Rascal team. Not only where they very responsive to emails, calls, and texts. They made it a point to be available and I couldn’t be more appreciative of that. It was a pleasure doing business with this company. The bank that currently has my mortgage for the past 18 years would not refinance the loan even after I provided everything they asked for. We were working with Jonathan Esposito and Gaston Gonzalez. Spoke to Jonathan initially after which we were dealing with Gaston both were very pleasant. We got nowhere with this team however. Everything took so incredibly long. Eventually we got pre-approved but we never got to see any actual numbers. I asked several times but everything just felt so wishy washy. Gaston eventually stopped getting back to us completely and Jonathan never bothered to check up on us after that initial conversation. I am very confused by so many 5 star reviews, seems fishy.

Good job executing our refinance. They advertise no closing costs, but of course there is. I tried to communicate with the underwriters but that didn’t pan out well. Otherwise, Torin was fantastic and did his best communicating. Anytime I asked a question he was able to respond timely. He was always very professional. Still not sure if I would use again, might look into other companies if I refinance. Our closing attorney from closing management llc. was fantastic, as well as her coworker Rochelle. Great job with being upfront and helping with concerns.

I had to switch lenders midway through my home buying process due new regulations and the switch with Jonathan could not have been easier. This review is long overdue. Shaun and Scott were amazing at getting us a crazy deal on our new multifamily. I was working with another lender, and was feeling uneasy because I didn't think I was getting the rate I should. That lender promised they'd match any other rate, so I decided to poke around. Scott's team popped up as a VA loan specialist, so I decided to reach out just in case. Boy am I glad I did. They got my rate down significantly, and GoRascal saved me many thousands of dollars after my original lender backed out on their promise to price match. They were extremely patient while I hemmed and hawwed over which lender to go with, and I never once felt an ounce of pressure. They were easy to work with and not only responsive, but proactive.
