All you can hope for when working with someone is that they are kind, honest, hard-working, genuine, trustworthy, efficient, know what they’re doing and give a damn about doing it right. Dave Wexler IS that rare person. In my 63 years on this earth, I’ve experienced hundreds of professionals on all sorts of projects. And I can say, without hesitation, that Dave is one of the best I’ve ever had the pleasure to work with. Dave really cares. He worked hard, knew his stuff, and kept us informed every step of the way. He gets my highest recommendation. You’d be nuts to go anywhere else.

Refinancing my house with Golden Oak Lending was a quick and simple process. Dave Wexler was my loan officer and he made the process very simple and the loaned was closed very quickly.

90+ days and still no end in sight. We live in Blue Springs MO. In a stable and quiet community in a peaceful home. Good credit and a stable cash flow (6 figures). We started our refinance with Golden Oaks the first week in Oct 2020. while it all looked favorable to be completed things became stalled. An email explaining their underwriting was taking a incredibly long time to process. Fast forward to this afternoon, we will have to find “sometime in February”. I realize historically this company had a good reputation, but at this time my confidence is finally wavering. A perfect payment history and I feel like we are practically still at the beginning with a timeline. Just keep your hopes grounded and understand the normal timetable may need to be tripled if you hope to refinance with the current interest rates here.

I highly recommend Golden Oak Lending. Jeffrey Watson was wonderful to work with. He stayed in close communication throughout the tedious process, and he was very quick to reply with answers to any questions that came up along the way. It was overall a very positive experience, and we're so thankful for all of his help!

Brian Jones did a wonderful job handling our loan. Communicated all through the process so we were always well informed. This was very important to us since we hadn't done this for several years. I would recommend Brian to anyone!

Our Loan Officer was TJ Rasmussen. He was prompt, thorough, patient, and understanding. The only qualifier I would give to my entire experience is that I am what you would call a rather easy customer. I had all the necessary documents he was going to need. I had the flexibility to rearrange my schedule if necessary. My credit, homeowner history, and background are of the great, easy, and bland variety. Regardless, TJ was great. He listened, understood my concerns and kept me informed of the entire process. I never felt pressured and he explained my options and even gave me additional ones when I asked. If you are hesitant to refinance, don't be. Golden Oak can help.

Wade Roberts is an excellent agent to work with in regards to house loans. He called me every Friday, whether he had an important update or not. He was very quick, thorough and to the point. We appreciate all of his time with the refinancing of our house.

Go see Dave Wexler. The guy is going to save you money. If you don't need money, then why are you even looking at this comment section? Go buy your new car and leave us alone. Anyways, Dave and everyone I have ever dealt with here went out of their way to help me. He was able to answer all my questions, and trust me, I had some pretty stupid ones. If I ever refi again, I don't have to look around, I know where I'm going.......Taco Bell, but then after that, Golden Oak.

Golden Oak Lending and Tom French were so easy to work with for my refinance that I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for their first mortgage or a refinance. I live in Topeka, KS and being that their offices are over an hour away from me most of our business was done via email or on the phone which was super convenient for me. When it came time to close, the title company representative actually came to my house on a Saturday to make sure we could get the closing done in a timely manner. Overall, the process was easy, the people were friendly and knowledgeable and I feel confident that you will experience the same!

Of course we had to meet in person part of the time but he was courteous ,very helpful, patient, knowledgeable, covid19 precautions and in record time we have finished the refinance with the interest rate lower. Tom French was fantastic! He presented me with several options for my refinance for my home and went over every one. My experience with Dave Wexler and Golden Oak Lending was wonderful. I heard an ad for them on the radio and had lots of reservations as to whether or not I would qualify for a refinance. We had a lot of equity in our home, but also had some bills and tax bills that were hard to dig our way out of and were causing a lot of stress and anxiety. I began an online form on the Golden Oak site one day and got interrupted mid-way through. The following day I had a call from Dave asking if he could help with anything. He was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and after a short discussion I completed my application. He was quick to follow up and assured me that we would qualify and explained what our best options would be based on our individual circumstances. When it came time to come in and see him he sent me a specific list of exactly what I needed to bring in. He met at the door, walked me to his office and he walked me through all the paperwork, allowing me time to read everything and answering my questions as we went. Days later the loan was off to underwriting, and within 48 hours I had a call letting me know that everything was final. My closing appointment was set for a date and time that worked perfectly for me, and my husband and I were in and out of the closing appointment within 30 minutes! I was amazed. Throughout the process Dave was helpful, friendly, quick to respond and always available. The entire process was unbelievably easy and quick, and gave us a chance for a fresh start.
