I really liked Golden 1 Credit Union until the last couple weeks. They mis-applied one of my payments and made it as difficult as possible for me to prove they cashed my check, it had their bank account listed on the back of my check and they still fought with me! Did not accept emails, only faxes. Constant phone calls, uninterested in solving their problem. If you think they are any different than other banks think again, horrible customer service.

I went to close my credit card, I told the teller I wanted to pay of the whole amount of my care and close it. She told me I had to wait 48 hours before closing the account so the payment could post. I came back 2 days later to close the account for another teller to tell me I still had a balance on my card. Apparently, when you say "I want to pay off my card" doesnt include intrest. They took forever closing my account. Very disappointed. If I could leave 0 stars I would.

never had a single issue that wasnt resolved ASAP. the staff here are all very nice. hope to work more with them in the future edit: Cole specifically always goes above and beyond, would recommend seeing him 100% of the time if he's in

Quite a few times happened the ATM was not working on Sunday.

So helpful, so easy to deal with this branch. Opened an account for a car loan several years ago (super rate by the way) and I've never had to go in to the bank for anything else. Today I did have to go in, and it was like I'd been in there every day - no hassle no problem- just got it done.

Understaffed, terrible service, usually really long wait in line.... The manager is great but she is only there a few days a month..... Been banking here for years.... Even though they know me, they wouldn't let me withdraw money from my account because my license expired a couple days ago on my birthday. I would not recommend golden 1 to anyone. They don't care about there customers but they will try and find a way to get your money.

I love town centre Golden one! They know everyone that comes in. They make you feel like golden one family lol. Love these guys! Way better than Folsom! Folsom is always busy crowded and not nearly as friendly!!!
