GM Funding was hands down the best firm I’ve worked with for buying or refinancing a home (this being the 6th used lifetime). I worked with Tyler and Coco on refinancing my VA loan and cannot say enough about how great they both were throughout the entire process. The communication across the team was excellent. Tyler and Coco made themselves available for any questions or clarifications I had, always keeping me up to speed on what to expect next during the process. The online tools made it easy and pain free to review/sign everything efficiently. We had been in the market shopping around to refinance when a telemarketer called & said that they had “amazing” rates and that they would beat any competition. I started to work with that company, but continued to shop around. My brother-in-law gave me the # of the guys he used at GM Funding. I spoke with Colin & Keith and they were very knowledgeable, friendly, & professional. I bounced back and forth with multiple companies to get the best rate possible and GM Funding was the most flexible with their rates. I had at least 2 companies tell me that there was no way that anyone could offer better rates. We were refinancing for more and found that using the VA loan was not necessarily the best financial option for us due to a steep VA Funding fee. Colon & Keith recognized this immediately and worked with us to get $150K cash from our house equity and keep our mortgage payments just about the same. The other closest company finally got fed up with us bouncing back & forth and said he couldn’t go any lower. GM Funding won our business. I would definitely recommend that everyone do their homework when making a big decision like this but definitely include GM Funding as one of your top financing options. These guys were low stress with no pressure and they were easy to get hold of while being very friendly. I even interrupted Colin on lunch a number of times and crunched numbers with him over the phone after 10 at night a few times. Highly recommended. Great employees. Low rates. I definitely give them 5 stars & 2 thumbs way up.
