I have had many great experiences here, the staff are very friendly. I have bought several firearms, hunting supplies, several more items, and they have great products, selections and policies. I have gone there many times and have never had anything negative to complain about!

Honestly, Gladwin Trade & Sales is the best pawnshop I've been to. I stop in there every once in a while to look around, and they always have fair prices for anything they're selling. I definitely recommend stopping by, if your're in the area.

Gladwin Pawn and Sales is an excellent place to conduct business at. Over the years, George and the staff at Gladwin Pawn and sales have been professional, curious, and fair. With the knowledgable staff, relaxed atmosphere ,and good prices Gladwin Pawn and Sales provides, I prefer to do conduct much of my purchases and all of my pawn business with them over every other pawnshop. I have purchased everything from guitars, tools, TV's, video games for my kids, to hard to find miscellaneous items such as guitar strings, tuners, and pics. When I need to purchase items or equipment, Gladwin pawn and sales is almost always my first call. In fact I'm heading to Gladwin pawn and sales today to pick up my brand new guitar out of layaway. I highly recommend Gladwin Pawn and Sales.

I had several things I want to sell to the guy. And today I went and Tried to sell a Brand New Samsung Galaxy Tab A6 7". And for standing there for a long time. And driving an hour from were I lived for him to tell me "I'm only going to be able to give you $20.00 for it" left and never will come again. Soo what's my ratting a zero. Very unhappy with him!!!
Unfortunately we cannot buy every item people bring in or always give people the amount they want for items, but we will always offer the best we can for what we can buy. In circumstances where people are ahead of you there will always be a wait but we will always greet and acknowledge you. Firearms transactions and pawn paperwork can take time. We can generally give a quick price quote on an item so a person can decide whether or not to wait... unfortunately tablets, notebooks and computers take longer because you generally have to boot them up to properly identify them i.e. hard drive, model, model variation and specs (a samsung tablet doesn't say "A6" right on it). A price cannot be given based on a quick look. Mr. Christie probably did have to wait longer than usual to get a price on his item especially if the item needed to be charged up. I am sorry about the wait. Now that this is brought to my attention I will ask the customer first what the item is and its specs are...and if the customer knows I will research a price quote, first. The customer will still have to wait for any other people ahead and for us to test out and properly identify the item, but this way they will be able to decide if its worth the wait time. If someone has to drive a long distance to see us, it is a good idea to call us and ask if we can take the items or not. If we can get an accurate description of the item (brand name and model) over the phone, we can generally give a low to high price range over the phone. Generally an item should only be described as "brand new" if it is new in the box and unused. If an item does not have a box and is lightly used with no scratches or wear then it can be described as "near new" or "like new". If an item is fully intact with scratches and light wear it is in "excellent" condition. Average wear and tear and scratches is " "very good" condition. Just keep in mind that an accurate "description" is needed to get an accurate "price quote" I don't personally remember the incident Mr. Christie is describing, but I don't doubt in those circumstances he had to wait longer and that we didn't get a quick price quote to him.
