I called four Title companies, looking for a perfect match to do a closing on property I owned in Bronson, Florida. That fourth call was to Gilchrist. Speaking with Heather, I was immediately impressed with her professionalism & courtesy. I was ALSO delighted that her estimate of the closing costs/fees was LOWER than the other three companies I'd called! I found my closers. A little interesting and funny history here. My father purchased land in Bronson in 1978, with the intention of retiring there at some point. You see, with our last name being Bronson, he figured it would be awesome to live IN Bronson. Well, my mother wanted no part of leaving friends, family and our beloved church group. There would be no Bronson retirement bungalow in Bronson, Florida... So, in the early 80's I became the owner of this property. Over the years I considered doing something with the land but that never happened. Recently, I decided it was time to pass the retirement torch on to someone who'd appreciate the property and make good use of it. I found a non-Bronson named buyer that I'm sure my father would heartily approve of! And even though the new owner's last name isn't Bronson, they promised to carry on our legacy. Cool! When closing on real estate the last thing you want is any surprises, 'hiccups' or delays. Our expectations were met AND exceeded by Gilchrist and crew! The closing went seamlessly and flawlessly. Heather and Tori kept everyone updated and informed as the closing date neared. All of the requirements were easily met and we were NEVER left in the dark or out of the loop. We couldn't have asked for a better team! After the closing, as the buyers and I were leaving the building, we met the business owner, Douglas McKoy. We let him know just how happy and pleased we were with the proceedings. Especially with the stellar performance of Heather and Tori! I feel this interaction is a critical piece of any business transaction. Sure, business owners hear if/when there is a problem. But just how often do they get a Bravo!, kudos or a pat on the back? I can, and will, positively recommend Gilchrist Title to anyone in need of their title/closing services!
