I like the people but despise the practices. Every year my interest rate goes up on my credit card. I'm told it's because of my overall credit. I know my credit score continues to get better and my debt decreases but it doesn't matter. I bank at other institutions and they have never increased my rates. I don't recommend Gesa to anyone. Sure, they'll finance you...and take you to the bank while they do it. The only consistent thing there is decent customer service and rate hikes. Other than that, I can't think of anything I like about them.

The loan process for my used truck was painless. We appreciate the great service always given by GESA.

Never answer the phone. Don’t respond to secure email. New merger with inspirus has ruined inspirus. I am moving to a different bank. Have been with school employees credit union which merged with inspirus for 40 years. Loved it. Merger with GESA has been an absolute nightmare.

My husband and I where so impressed with Gesa credit union we refinance both our vehicles. We also changed our checking and savings. Jennifer is so nice and efficient. She makes you feel really at home. We are happy to be part of the Gesa credit union family. Thank you Jennifer

I am a current member and have been for a number of years. Today I went online to open a new account, Seattle called me and said I needed to provide a utility bill to prove I wasn't a crook. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? A current member? Unbelievable UPDATE I DID CONTACT THE EMAIL SUGGESTED AND HAVE NOT RECEIVED A RESPONSE***I HAVE BEEN CONTACTED THANK YOU FOR CLEARING UP THE ISSUE****

Gesa Credit Union was easy to work with! I had no problem getting my car loan with them, and they are always receptive when I had questions or concerns about my accounts. They also have great perks for the checking and savings accounts! I highly recommend banking with them!

This location in sullivan is amazing! Bridget and Jaiden are friendly and remember me by my name. They actually seem like they care and are genuine. Will be telling my friend's and family about this one! Only gripe, a location on the south hill would be nice.

My morning consisted of worrying that my bank card and account had been compromised because it took almost two weeks for things that showed posting and being pulled on 10/31 to actually get posted to my account. Nobody explained any of this to me, just that I would have to dispute the charges with the stores before the crediy union would do anything. Long story short, today was more than frustrating, and nobody really cared until I posted a review on Facebook. The people at the branch were nice, but as a whole, I don't really trust them.

I need a new credit union. Everything with GESA takes at least 3 days to happen, if they don’t lose your paperwork to begin with. They’ve been difficult to work with since I opened an account, and they aren’t getting any better. It’s already hard enough moving across the country without having a bank give you trouble At every turn, too.
