I’ve been banking with GFCU for awhile. Always received great service. Honest, respectful people work there. They are always helpful when it comes to new products/services that could benefit you. I spoke to Jeanine I believe was her name/spelling. She was amazingly helpful today.

Been banking here for a few years. Can honeslty say this place makes banking a ease. From a mortgage to a car loan to just day to day banking. Ive never had a issue with service .Any question ive ever had was always answered. Couldnt be happier .

Wrote letter that buyer pre-approved for loan, then took 60 days before finally denying loan. Very slow and unresponsive.

I'm very appreciative of their personal service as of late, they have really upped their service. My previous review: The worst experience with a financial institution I have ever received. This institution collected roughly $2000 in multiple fees for Overdrafts, Insufficient Funds, Unpaid Item's from September through December 2019. Inquired on a loan to payoff debt to stop the negative effects. Dealt with a loan officer who lied and misinformed me. Requests for any fees to be refunded were not met with a direct answer. No fees were refunded. Spoke with manager who lied about checking into previous request, I did not receive any correspondence regarding the matter. Visited and called branch on several occasions regarding issues, received no resolution. I sought other banking services due to this. Hopefully this isn't common practice.

We bought a vehicle and the dealership recommended we use GFCU for the loan. We sent in our insurance information when we purchased the vehicle. A few weeks later we received a letter in the mail from GFCU saying that they don’t have our insurance on file. So I stopped in the Fremont branch to make a payment and gave them copies of our insurance information. A few weeks later we receive another letter, postmarked days after I stopped in, saying that they still don’t have our insurance information and that we are going to be charged for some outrageously priced insurance. So being completely fed up, I sent in my insurance information online one last time for good measure and stopped by a branch and payed off the loan. Hopefully I never have to deal with GFCU again. They are obviously incompetent and I would never use them for anything, ever.
