Derek and the team at Gerber are seriously the best. I got into a collision the day before I was supposed to go out of town, and he shifted and made it work to let me bring my vehicle in same day. I really did not want to look for a new car in this market, and I was paranoid it had been totaled. Communication was quick and clear, and as soon as they knew it was NOT totaled, they let me know. The repairs took a little less than three weeks due to the supply chain issues, but they still managed to finish ahead of schedule. Everything was coordinated through my insurance, and they kept me updated throughout the process. My car honestly looks better now than when I bought it. Thanks y’all!

Gerber Collision & Glass is phenomenal. The customer service we received from both their front desk associate (Derek) and their techs is really great. They ordered our parts quickly, and then fixed our issue the same day! It was very convenient and a very positive experience, and we will be using them again should the need occur for any bodywork or glass needed. I don't leave reviews often, but this is a great business to work with and we very highly recommend!

The best service I've ever experienced at a collision repair shop. Chris was great and coordinated everything with insurance and the rental company making it carefree for me. The repairs were done in 24 hours and they washed/vacuumed it for me as well!

From the first telephone call to make an appt to bring my car in until I walked out the door after receiving my estimate I was pleased. Professional, kind, knowledgeable staff. The young man handling my estimate, Derek, was efficient. I was in and out of the shop within 15-20m.

The waiting area is very shabby, there is even crumbling drywall near the window. However this doesn't matter because I wasn't kept waiting very long. The service is very prompt and efficient, and they do a great job on the body work. The estimates were done very quickly and all of the delivery timelines were kept. Right now there is a shortage of rental cars, so be sure that you line up your rental car in advance so you aren't stuck without something to drive while your car is being repaired.

Brilliant experience working with Chris and Sam at Gerber Collision on Halsted. After I put a decent sized scratch in my pride and joy, they took care of me from the get go! The repair looks absolutely perfect and they communicated with me every step of the way. If you need a job doing properly, go to these guys!

Gerber damaged my car during a windshield repair and it still has not been fixed. While replacing my windshield 2 weeks ago, Gerber technicians cracked and broke off a piece of the post surrounding the windshield (2015 Range Rover). The first problem is that they never told me about the damage. I was driving my car a few days later and noticed the broken piece. That alone is not acceptable. When I called my insurance company to see what I should do, they contacted Gerber and I got immediate texts and calls from Gerber indicating that they were going to fix the broken piece. I then received follow-up texts that the replacement part had been delivered and asking to schedule the repair. On the day of the repair (for which I took off work), the technician showed up several hours late, then literally had no idea what he was doing there. He just looked at my car for a few second and left. So now I am trying to email, call and text Gerber to find out what happened and why my car has not been fixed. This should not happen for a simple windshield replacement. I do not trust this company anymore.

We just picked our car up from Gerber and could not believe the incredible job they did on our Mazda CX-3. You would never know it had any repairs done. The manager was very attentive at keeping us updated on the status. We also needed to have some extensive brake work done, which was done very timely. Hands down, best experience getting a vehicle repaired AND body work done. Strongly recommend.

I was rear ended by an uninsured driver a few weeks ago, near closing time for most auto shops. This location was open for another 20 minutes when I had called, and I was about 20-25 minutes away. Chris *stayed* to do an estimate on my vehicle and even mentioned I wouldn't need a new bumper like I had originally thought - that they could buff/fill/paint the damage (which saved SO much money). They finished my repair in 1 day, and honestly can say that Chris went above and beyond from start to finish. Really appreciated the professionalism and incredible customer service. Respectfully, I hope I never have to come back - if I do, I know I'll be in excellent hands. Thanks y'all! Appreciate you so much.
