GeoVista Credit Union Ford Ave, Richmond Hill

This is literally the most frustrating credit union I've ever utilized. I try to keep my funds elsewhere but decided to take Vista for a spin again and was reminded why. Their app and website is too basic and doesn't give control to the user. They don't make it simple to add an external account to transfer funds to on the site or in the app. Need to cash app multiple people in one sitting? Prepare for a frozen card and a headache. The system is supposed to give a courtesy call before they freeze your card and the past two times I've not received a call. Why they don't have an in app option to freeze/unfreeze it yourself in 2022 is beyond my understanding. If you're reading this while searching for a credit union to join, please call Navy Fed. They can set you up over the phone. If you ever need a replacement card they overnight it or you can walk into a branch and they will make one for you on the spot (had to wait a week to receive a replacement from vista and when my lost was returned before the new one arrived they couldn't even temporarily reactivate it so I could withdraw funds). With Navy Federal you can do and find whatever you need from their app. Need your account and routing number? No problem, you can find it in the app (not visible in app or website with Vista). Need to use Zelle or transfer to an external bank? Guess what?! WITH NAVY FED IT TAKES MINUTES AND IS EASY AF!!! Their customer support staff is available 24/7. I actually remember when they set up my account in 2015 at 2am!!! You can freeze/unfreeze your card whenever you need. If you have direct deposit they repay your ATM fees. I really have nothing negative to say about Navy Fed. You don't need to be military to join, an account holder can sponsor you.

I moved from Richmond Hill and now live in Rincon, but I call this branch if I ever have any issues with my account. Their customer service skills are excellent. Just today, I had a question about my account. When my own branch in Rincon would not help, I called Kathy in Richmond Hill. She gave me more details about the transaction that I was not aware of and totally eased my concern. I miss the friendliness of the employees at the branch and wish Richmond Hill wasn't such a long drive!

I filed a harassment complaint against a former supervisor yesterday and i emailed Barbara Martin-Vanduser, Mary Hancock and Reba Maloata so why havent i received a email response? Why hasnt anyone of these (ladies) even called to check on me after what happened yesterday?I even spoke to Frances Moody who excused his behavior as being "loud" I even called the police on this supervisor! So GeoVista hires and continues to employ Bullies? What makes a supervisor who yells at you and threatens your safety any different from a customer who comes in the branch and does the same thing?Why go over a handbook page 39 about harassment which is against the law if you dont really enforce the law when this happens to a employee.Women go through this every day in the workplace because their scared to come forward.The fear of losing their jobs or having managers who look the other way because they feel a manager makes the company too much money, when in this case this manager is costing the company by firing anyone who doesnt let him abuse them.The most appalling part of all of this though is that these women are higher ups and havent responded to my complaint. To the customers who have complaints about this credit union. We do not go through any type of training! You have to learn everything on your own. Start demanding training and better managers in these branches.

I would like to thank Ms. Kathy L. and all of the other staff members who have helped me over the last ten years. You are exceptionally patient and professional. I am truly grateful!

worst customer service I've ever experienced went to pay my husband car loan since he is in the military and away for training and the lady was being super disrespectful to me, you could tell she did not want to be there and was she being so rude to me,don't know her name she was a bigger lady. I wasn't able to even pay his car loan going to a different location just so I don't have to deal with her attitude.

GeoVista in Richmond Hill has always been great to work with! They take care of almost everything I need right over the phone since I’m not local anymore. I highly recommend this location.

Had an issue with my car loan payments. Brought it to their attention and they fixed it immediately. Great service and very helpful!
